I usually come here for my fill-ins and pedicure, and Sarah does an outstanding job with the nails. This is the first time shes ever done my pedicure, honey let me tell you my toes looked a HOTTTT MESSSS the polish and top coat was way to thick. I expected better from her. I didnt really notice how messy it was until after she finished and the polish had cured. Thick, goopy, and clumpy. Never again Ms Sarah!! stick to doing nails only. I went ahead and paid for my services, I felt like I was over chareged too because what I had done wasnt adding up. Do not recommend going here at all. I never complain about getting out of a nail salon fast. But i was in there for LESS than 30 minutes. My nails were rushed. They were so aggressive when shaping my nails it left my skin on every finger either bleeding or raw. They also noticed the bleeding and rawness and didnt not do anything about it. Not even an apology or if i was okay. Half of my nails are not even fully painted on the edges. Will never be back read more

I've been going to Citi Nails for 8 years. They are the best place in Salisbury to get your nails & toe nails done. They offer other services like eyebrows, eyelashes & facials but I've not tried those things. When you walk in the door, the manager, Danny Dang, greets you and finds out what you want to have done. Sometimes, they can seat you right away but, during busy times, you may have to wait, for a few minutes. I have one lady that I've been seeing for 5 years so I always call and make an appt. with her. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. All of the employees are extremely nice & caring. They make you feel very comfortable & they will do your nails the way you want them done! They have several pedicure treatments you can choose from where they massage your legs, rub warm rocks on them and wrap them in warm towels. this is oh so relaxing! Give Citi Nails a try. I cannot express how appreciative I am for the experience that I had here! I recently went to a different salon and bought a mani/pedi package for $40. In the end they charged me $80. I am a new mom who was in desperate need of some self care. My nails chipped off the next day I was so terribly disappointed. But then I came to city nails, they welcomed me and my mom and sister in for full sets even though we arrived an hour before close. My technician listened to exactly what I wanted, and took the time and effort to make sure I got it. Then after I arrived home, much to my surprise they glow in the dark! I absolutely love them. This is my gel manicure from two days ago. The selection of gel colors was very disappointing. I went in wanting a navy blue & even specifically asked if there were any other options. I was told their weren't & shown a bright royal blue instead. I noticed that my nails had a couple of spots on them & when I asked for a touch up the tech acted as if she couldn't see what I was talking about & kept asking 'Where? Where?' My boyfriend and I went in for a pedicure. They were short staffed and moderately busy. They went ahead and put us in chairs and just waited for someone to do our pedicures. A girl came over and sat down and started working on my toes. A little while later, another girl comes to start my boyfriend's pedicure. As soon as she walked up, I found it interesting that she was going to sit in those low chairs with a skirt on. Thinking she would have enough self respect to sit like a lady, I was fooled. This chick sat down spread eagle for all the world to see. This happened not only once but probably 3-4 times. She left nothing to the imagination. When i came into this salon, i expected a very good experience because the reviews were so high. Little did I know that reviews are written by bot accounts and are a FRAUD. They ripped off my toenail when i asked for a pedicure and one of the staff crushed it into pieces in front of me. She spit on my feet and said that it is a traditional Asian recipe to make my feet soft. It was completely uncalled for and disgusting, she tried to interlock toes with me as well. Ugh!!! Went in for a manicure today. The Gentleman who did my nails was not friendly. As I was sitting there, noticed nail clippings all over the floor. They were not busy, Employees sitting around...CLEAN UP!! Was not impressed at all. The final factor.. After sitting under the dryer for 10mins, the guy said I was all dry. I left & was pretty careful with my nails. It didn't matter, polish was not dry & I completely ruined the color. I didn't bother going back. And plan to go somewhere else next time!! read more

Horrible experience will never return. If I could give a 0 rating I would! I came here @ 6:30pm after work I informed them I wanted a full set and a pedicure. I received my pedicure first. When it became time to get my full set I picked out my color but was told I HAD to get gel polish because they closed in 45 mins and it would take too long for regular polish to dry. I told her "no I do not want gel polish I want regular polish" she began telling me that because they closed soon I could not get regular polish because it would take too long I could only get gel. Then saying "if u dont get gel polish u can't get your nails done because we cannot wait for them to try because we close soon" I was very upset as this was the worst customer service I have ever received. So at this point I paid for my pedicure and left. I've never experienced an establishment that cared more about themselves than they did their customers. I will never return to this place nor will I ever recommend anyone else. read more

I am highly disappointed with the "service" my friend and I received this evening from this establishment. While yes she and I did come in 30 min before they closed, we did ask if it was too late to get services. Throughout the entire experience my friend and I felt rushed, the work was rushed and sloppy. We were pressured into the VIP pedicures. I was also having my nails done and the man doing my nails insulted me by saying "you don't want your nails to look good, you don't want gel, only $7 more." He asked how short I liked my nails he did my left hand, I approved, moved on to the right...I requested twice for him to match the length with the left...he didn't then I showed him the design I wanted and he took it upon himself to turn my bundle of elegant mistletoe into a horrible Christmas tree that my 11 yrs nephew could have accomplished (and it would have looked so much better). When my toes were done I looked down to see red glitter paint all over and around my nails and toes. Needless to say I will not be going back. read more

I have visited this place two different times. The first occasion they were slightly busy, I wanted a fill-in and a pedicure I waited about 25 minutes until directed to sit in the pedicure chair, water was prepared it was alil cold and the jets weren't running which made me uncomfortable everyone appeared too busy to ask if I was ok! I sat in the cold water for about 35-40 minutes before I decided to leave. I just recently returned on Saturday morning with my sister and mother in law. It wasn't very busy at the time but we all couldn't get serviced at the same time just my luck again I'm last to be taken care of and sat in the pedicure chair in Luke warm water while my guest who accompanied me got their feet done. After they finished a proceed to get Nails done my pedi began. I also got a fill-in which was done so poorly I lost one nail within minutes of leaving the shop, then another soon after I got home. The man who did my nails seemed to have arthritis of some sort, his style of doing Nails was very unconventional and just novice at best. This will be the last dollar I ever spend at that place. Ps make your family and or employees pay for daycare like the rest of the world bring your child to work should not be everyday it's extremely unprofessional.! read more

I work a lot and planned on treating myself for months...I was so sad after I left here because I really wanted a special day. A few of the techs are really nice but I noticed they were sort of snarky and many had bad attitudes. I tip well so this is sad for them. My cuticles were not touched on my feet or hands. I got a full set that was lumpy and he left my cuticles exactly the same. I had to leave for my hour long commute and honestly didn't have the time or patience to dispute. Yes I was wearing sweats and no makeup BC I was on my way to do play therapy with a child but I have money to tip and did not expect the treatment I got. Many people save to treat themselves and its quite a let down when you've been trying to make time for yourself for FOUR months and you get screwed. Also I tipped before hand so I still had tipped them 15 bucks hoping it would encourage them to do a good job... not so much. Never again. read more

I went here last night to get a fill in. It was the worst experience I have ever had. There was a little boy there who was groping all the ladies that came in and had no concept of personal space. His grandfather was one of the technicians and said nothing to him. After that awkward encounter, it was finally my turn. While at the table, i noticed how nasty the wax machine was for waxing eyebrows. That's a telltale sign they are gross. Against my better judgement, i sat there and got my nails done. When the man doing my nails was finished, they looked okay. It was so late and i was so ready to get out of there. When i got home i noticed that my 3 year old could have done a better job. My nails are uneven and bumpy. That was the last time i will ever be going there!! If you want your nails done right in a CLEAN and noninvasive experience, i recommend going to Pro Nails in Granite Quarry and ask for Maria. Last time i went to her i was very pleased!!! I will ONLY be going to her from now on. I am probably going to have to go get my nails fixed soon because these are embarrassing!!! read more

My daughters and I ended up at this salon because we were so put off by the pure unprofessional attitudes at a nail salon across from Food Lion....and boy am I glad we landed here! When we first came in we were greeted in a friendly manner by the lady up front. Then a gentleman named Danny came over and started talking with us as well. He is so Personable and so welcoming! I had brought my daughters out to have their eyebrows done but my youngest was a little apprehensive. It was her idea but once we were there she became nervous. He caught on that she was feeling anxious and began talking and joking with her immediately. She became totally relaxed and he even came and checked in on her while she was having her brows done! Liz and Susan did a great job with both of my daughters! I cannot tell you how appreciative I am for just good customer service!! And to make this experience even better is the fact that little did we know they were closing when we entered and NOT ONCE were we made to feel rushed or as if we had inconvenienced anyone! Do not go here to get your nails done. They hurry you through, they don't cover the whole nail, the nails start chipping off the same day. I've been twice and both have been horrible. I went there for the first time 2 weeks ago with my 4 year old grand daughter. We got mani-pedi's and it was great. They have the kids pedi chairs and it was just sweet time with my grand daughter. More like Shitty Nails. This was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I took my sister to get her nails done when I came in town one weekend. The woman was not only clearlyyyy trash talking me in a different language, she was rude, messy, and was filing my SKIN under the bottom of my nail to the point I had to ask her to stop bc my skin was raw and nearly bleeding. The polish job alone was terrible but she also took it upon herself to cut my nails down to the bed. Literally the entire white tip of my nail was gone and so painful. My sister decided to do a stiletto nail. Which is an acrylic nail cut in a claw like pointed shape. They charged her an extra $7 to cut her nails at a different angle rather than straight across. I will never ever go back here again and if you are wise, you won't either. Save your money and patience. read more

I am new to Salisbury area and asked a few people for a nail shop recommendation. Out of the few I received, I chose Citi Nails for convenience. I needed my acrylic soaked off and wanted a manicure to start fresh. I was first serviced by a gentlemen. The gentlemen DRILLED my polish off my nails and then proceeded to use a artificial nail to lift the corners of my acrylic to take the fake nail off. I told him I wanted to soak my nails off, not pull them off. After soaking in acetone, I was sent to a lady to finish the manicure. She tried to drill the remaining acrylic off my nails. I told her that I did not want that because my nails are already thin. After she filed the acrylic residue from my nails, she began to DRY cut my cuticles. I told her I wanted a manicure and asked that my cuticles be soaked in water. She told me the solution will be oily and that my polish will not hold. I've had plenty of gel polish manicures and never have been told this. So, I told her that to cancel the manicure and just gel polish. After saying that, she started treating me with an attitude. She sped up her filing and was aggressive with my fingers. She told me that because I no longer wanted a manicure, my gel polish will most likely to lift. At that point, I asked for clear polish. She said good, as if I was doing her a favor by leaving. IF you care about the integrity of your nails, do not go to this shop. The workers will do and tell you anything to make their work easier. The disregard and inconsideration to a customer was uncalled for. read more
