I called on a Saturday and usually most places are extremely busy and booked for weeks out. The receptionist was able to schedule me today since there was an cancellation. I come in and the place is beautiful, clean and quiet. You can tell they take pride in their presentation and they had customers coming in and out which let me know people were pleased. Jessica was the one who did my facial, I decided to get the dermabrasion to help with some scarring and discoloration I was having. Jessica was extremely profesional and knowledgable about what was best for my skin. She took her time and actually made this session so relaxing that I actually went to sleep, LOL! It was so peaceful and the rooms are set up to make you feel rested and comfortable. The sessions are about an hour and you can instantly see the improvements. Like most places they try to sell you products but here that did not happen. Their honesty and professionalism will make me a recurring costumer. NO name stated of his, no normal phone etiquette before asking about appointments--he just immediately asked if I would be scheduling a BRAZILIAN. Practically threw up in my mouth, I was just immediately so uncomfortable and grossed out. Will be finding somewhere else to go to, expeditiously!! EDIT: Thank you for the additional information that wasn't known to me when I made the original comment. I've never had a bad experience at the business in the past, and I reacted in the immediate shock of the encounter. Over the years, TWB had become a space where I felt safe, particularly because my experiences there had always been with women. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. In hindsight, I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the encounter. I appreciate the clarification and have reconsidered my initial assessment, which is reflected in my updated review.

This place is a nightmare…read more I had to have my hair redone because the stylist left harsh, unblended lines. So I went back the next day to have it fixed. Lo and behold, she didn't fix all of them. I had to go back AGAIN to have them redone. So altogether I made 2 additional trips without any compensation for my inconvenience. The worst part is how rude the employees were, especially the owner. I was laughed at for asking a simple question, I was told that I was wrong, and I wasn't even given an apology for my inconvenience. I didn't feel comfortable with the same stylist since she failed to correct her mistake all the way. The manager ignored my request to have a different stylist do my hair. The owner also had her two loud boys running amuck, causing chaos and disruption. One nearly tripped over my foot. And to top it all off, I overheard two stylists making fun of a customer for talking too much. "She comes here all the time and never stops yalmjng." Incredibly rude! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. The workers are unskilled and completely unprofessional.
