Then about 60 days later, we didn't need the unit anymore, called to give notice said they needed written notice, sent a letter, billed us a month later, claimed letter wasn't received. Asked for a refund, since they had a long waitlist, they shouldn't have a problem renting it out, Said no. Send a handwritten note to once again give notice. Billed us a second time. Called to work this out and the owner screamed bloody murder at me.

I never found anyone there.l. Not so safe. Also for the first four months I was suppoed to have 24/7 access, each time I went there on a Sunday, my code did not work. Finally, they realize they have given me the wrong code.. The last month I stored there, I was able to get into the facility, the gate closed behind me, and I expected a sensor to open the gate when I was ready to leave. NOPE. And there was no clear way to open the gate. I have to call the sheriff to use my code to open the gate.

We paid…read morefor a storage unit for my college daughter who goes to the college in town and we live 7 hours away. 5 days into our paid contract of renting the unit my daughter goes to move her stuff in only to find that someone had moved their things in AND locked the unit... unfortunate and very frustrating, but not the fault of the business. The THIEVES (or whatever you want to call the people who knowingly moved their things into a unit that wasn't theirs and locked it) must be friends or family with the office manager. Not only did the office manager SHOW US the cameras and ADMIT that the THIEVES saw my daughter there a few days prior checking out the storage unit making sure it was ready to go... but then proceeded to told us there was nothing they could do ??? They were 100% accommodating the THIEVES, telling us they need time to contact the thieves, and that they would need time to remove their items. DAYS of time. The office manager was one of the MOST unprofessional and RUDE people, telling me repeatedly there was nothing she could do to help us, and completely talking over me the whole conversation. After all of the frustration, multiple phone calls with the office manager, and my daughter who is now an upset college student with a car full of her things and no place to put it... I decided to call corporate to see if they would have a solution of what we could do. But NOPE... even worse. They proceeded to agree with the office manager and then started putting blame on me (THE PAYING AND RETURNING CUSTOMER !!!!) by saying they tried to accommodate me but I wouldn't accept ??? A complete lie. If you consider "accommodating" as being offered a lesser OUTDOOR unit (we had paid for a climate control unit) after as many phone calls I had to make... with most of the calls being I was cut off, talked over and told "there is nothing we can do". All I have to say is wow! Thankful we found a much more professional, accommodating and customer focused storage company close by that made our day much easier after dealing with these absolute I D I O T S. 0 stars.
