We made two stops. The first was to a restaurant/bar who didn't seem thrilled to see us (that's a different review though) and the second on South Street at Fat Tuesdays. Our tour guides were fun and very personable. The group had a great time and we finished at the same place we started, which just happens to be Big Ass Slices Bar and Grill so a friend and I grabbed a slice and a drink. I do wish that there were drinks or snacks provided on the vehicle. It would have made it more personal and enjoyable. The website doesn't share much in the way of details (I didn't know we could bring our own snacks/water). But despite that, great experience.

The tour we picked started off at Silence Dogood's Tavern, where we got our stickers, pizza from Big Ass Pizza and a round. That pizza was awesome and so were the pizza tots! Our tour guides (Jess and Dominic I believe) were awesome and we'd definitely do this again. Tip definitely buy the individual tickets ! Not worth it to pay for the whole bike at $375. We all bought the individual for $31 each with 5 of us and we still had the bike to ourselves. Lucky break I guess.

Seamless, Reliable, and Professional Wedding Transportation - Highly Recommend Limo Today!…read more We recently used Limo Today to transport 105 wedding guests from the Radisson Hotel in Northeast Philadelphia to Pen Ryn Mansion in Bensalem, PA, and I could not be more pleased with their exceptional service. From the very beginning, the owner Glenn Centolanza and his assistant Dawn were a pleasure to work with--professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. The logistics were complicated, involving three different shuttle buses of varying capacities, each making two trips to and from the venue. The schedule was tight: buses couldn't depart the hotel until check-in time, and guests could not arrive at the venue until a specific window opened. Despite these constraints, every guest arrived on time and without issue. The return trip at the end of the celebration was equally smooth. Every guest was transported back to the hotel safely and comfortably. The buses themselves were modern, clean, fully air-conditioned, and extremely comfortable. A special shoutout to the drivers--Wayne, Herb, and Mark--who were not only courteous and professional but also kept in communication with me via text throughout the process. As someone managing multiple aspects of a major event, this real-time coordination gave me great peace of mind. If you're planning an event that requires moving a large group of people efficiently and reliably, I cannot recommend Limo Today highly enough. complaint regarding two deeply disappointing experiences with Limo Today…read more Some time ago, I rented a party bus through Limo Today. Unfortunately, the vehicle was clearly not maintained properly and began breaking down shortly before reaching our destination. The driver had to return to Pennsylvania in a failing vehicle while we ate dinner. Although a replacement party bus arrived by the time we were ready to leave, it was also substandard--leaking from the roof and without a functioning Wi-Fi connection. Despite the inconvenience, I chose not to pursue compensation. Glenn, the owner, apologized and assured us that our next rental would be "made right. "we booked a stretch limo for my graduation trip to Baltimore. We paid a significant amount for transportation to the ceremony, to dinner afterward, and back to New Jersey. We also tipped the driver $250. After the ceremony, we left around 5:00 p.m. for dinner nearby. My husband gave the driver an additional $150 in appreciation for the extra wait time, which the driver accepted. When we booked, we were told that dinner after the event was acceptable and there was no need to worry about going slightly over our time. Despite this understanding, Glenn called the next day and claimed we owed an additional $750 for being two hours over schedule. This was both shocking and unfair, especially after we had confirmed with both the driver and Glenn that our schedule would be flexible. I reminded him that we had compensated the driver in good faith for his time and that the driver had agreed without objection. Yet instead of honoring his word, Glenn added insult to injury by demanding more. Our frustration was compounded during a two-hour phone call between Glenn and my husband. Glenn eventually agreed to reduce the additional charge to $500, but he stated that if we refused to comply, he would charge our credit card on file without authorization. My husband then offered to apply our deposit--originally intended for a July airport transfer--toward the disputed amount. Glenn refused this solution, insisted we were not entitled to use the deposit for the existing charge, and stated we would not receive a refund if we canceled the July service. In our view, this coercive behavior borders on extortion. This situation is extremely troubling and ignores the patience and goodwill we have repeatedly shown your company. I did not demand compensation for the first rental, despite clear failures in service. Instead of honoring his promise to make things right, Glenn used our trust against us.

It was only me, my wife, and two daughters so we got a personal tour. He said it would take about 90 minutes, but we were with him for over 2 hours. While you don't actually go into any of the historical places Mike is very knowledgeable about the history of the venues. He was funny and very enthusiastic. He took us to the usual historical stops and then up to Society Hill and on to South St. We saw things we otherwise would not have seen if when we ventured out on our own. Did I mention that he walks backwards about 90% of the time so you can hear his voice? I highly recommend Free and Friendly Tours. While they don't charge they accept tips.

Mark, our guide, was outgoing and able to offer fun stories along the way. And recommendations for lunch at the end of tour. If you are looking for a scholarly history lesson, I wouldn't recommend this tour company. But if you want a more laid back approach to learning the history of Philly, this tour will fit the bill. The Colonial Cheesesteak tour covers a lot of the landmarks in Old City from Ben Franklin's grave to spots along Independence Historic National Park and into neighborhoods that lead to South Street. Just remember if you go on this tour or the others they offer, you can email them ahead or show up since they don't have a registration process currently. And it's true the tour is free, but a tip is encouraged.
