I bought both because I'm leaving to go back to Florida next week. I will never go to the restore again.

They're prices could be priced far higher just because of the "Italian-made" label, but instead they choose to price their clothing for what they're actually worth. They're service is outstanding. They helped us find exactly what we wanted in our perfect sizes. They were also very honest when it came down to whether something fit. When we were checking out, they gave us a free scarf and pocket square because we bought so much. An important note for English-speakers: you'll feel very welcomed here because their English is very good. I loved my experience at Monsanto and I can't wait to return!

I was in Rome for over two months studying abroad the past fall. For the last few weeks of my trip,…read moreI tried looking around Rome for a good pair of boots that were decently priced. I found a gorgeous pair from Posto Italiano for 168 euros (232 dollars). I initially wasn't going to get them because of the price, but after looking around at Aldo and Steve Madden (the kind of stores I would normally get boots from - decently priced, decent quality), their boots were around the same price. I love these boots and have gotten a lot of compliments on them. I've worn them almost every single day for almost 5 months now - I live in Chicago for most of the year for school and they've lasted through one of the harshest winters.

It was cool just to see how the owner had artfully arranged everything. I spied the most adorable backpack in the world, seriously it was tiny, not even a foot tall in an Aztec pattern, for less than $20 dollars, even despite the euro to dollar conversion. It a small shop but very rich with offerings and it's reasonably priced, not one of those vintage shops where things are overblown and out of range. My husband saw a jacket and though it was a bit too worn, the leather on that thing was a sight to gape at. Awesome little shop full of wonder.

YES for all the items they sell; OMG it's almost a museum of several decades of the 20th Century!…read more I found a beautiful, 1950s Dior-style dress (didn't have a label, but I would not be surprised if it were the actual real deal), and the price was steep - but reasonable. The only thing that really put me off, was the man ín the store itself - maybe the owner as far as I could tell. SO unfriendly! I had a few questions and he was pretty snarky. Eeeeehm, yes well didn't spike my willingness to spend my money. So I didn't... They have fantastic leather bags, trunks, shoes, jackets, clothes for both men and women and definitely a great shop worth visiting to wander and snoop around. You can definitely find unique items here so expect some hidden gems and ignore any unfriendliness you might encounter. Maybe he just had a really bad day....
