I would like to express my utmost gratitude and satisfaction with the outstanding care provided by…read morethe Bethesda Gardens for my Mom. We found Bethesda Gardens when we were looking for respite care for my Mom while we were out of town. A few months later, she requested that she go live there full time, due to the friends she met, the activities and the great food. Post COVID, my wife and I had to go back into the office and she was missing the companionship. We started her out in assisted living and she was very independent; but as her needs progressed, Bethesda had options, including the all-inclusive apartments that made the her care affordable. Once her memory declined, we were able to move her to Memory Care within the same community. My Mom enjoyed the activities, especially bingo. Once she moved to Memory Care, the activities aligned with dementia and gave them structure throughout the day. The staff members, including the directors, nurses, med-techs and caregivers, displayed an unmatched level of compassion and dedication. It was evident that they genuinely care for the residents and prioritize their well-being. They establish genuine relationships and strive to meet the unique needs of each individual. The caregivers go above and beyond to ensure that my Mom receives personalized attention, support, and a sense of belonging. They not only assist in daily activities, but also provide emotional support and companionship. It is evident that they genuinely care for the residents as if they were their own family members. Furthermore, the level of communication and transparency between the staff and families is exemplary. This fosters trust and reassurance for families, knowing that their loved ones are in capable hands. They were with us to the very end and gave comfort to my Mom as she transitioned to Heaven. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this assisted living facility to anyone seeking a supportive and comfortable home for their loved ones. It has provided my Mom with a sense of independence, while also ensuring her safety and well-being. Thank you to the entire team for making my mom's golden years truly golden.

This place is just ok. The staff is not great, but not super bad. It's the evening and weekend…read morestaff that are clueless as to how to take care of my mom. Wouldn't even put a band aid on her 2 separate occasions because they 'didn't have any orders for her'... whatever that means. The management SAYS they'll check on mom weekly but has never done it unless I asked them. My mom hates the food! She says nearly every meal is chicken-something. Watch your bills. Their billing system is horrible. My mom has heard several residents say the same thing and some have taken there loved ones out of there because of billing. It's hard to find a good assisted living place because there's a bit of a turn over rate in the staff. In the 3 years Mom's been there I've had several issues with incompetent hourly staff. Some are just there for a paycheck and it's obvious. Some are new to America and aren't as nice as us Texans If I wasn't afraid that I'd regret moving her to somewhere else, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

From the moment you walk through the doors, it's clear that this community is something truly special. The staff lead with compassion and integrity, creating an atmosphere where residents are genuinely cared for and valued. Every interaction feels heartfelt, you can tell they truly love what they do. The resident engagement is outstanding, there's always something meaningful happening, from creative activities to uplifting events that bring everyone together. The sense of joy and connection here is something you can feel. The community itself is beautiful, warm, and inviting, thoughtfully designed to make residents feel at home and families feel at peace... especially the Assisted Living area of the community. Most of all, the team here goes above and beyond in every way. They are the heart of this place, and it shows in the smiles, laughter, and care they share each day. If you're looking for a senior living community for yourself or a family member that truly embodies compassion, integrity, and excellence... this is the one!

The worst care ever, don't send your family members here if you love them. The "Doesn't Care…read moreCoordinator" is what I call the person who is in charge of "Care". She's one of the least competent and mean spirited people I've ever known. Please don't agree to the nightmare that is Broadway Cityview for your family. Management constantly changes (3 different companies in 7 years). They failed to recognize and communicate effectively about my parents to my sibling and myself and so my parent kept repeatedly failing. After breaking their hip and having surgery, one of my parents has moved on to another facility that can care for them properly and I couldn't be more relieved. Shame on these people who ruin what should be the best part of people's lives. The food is horrendous as well.

My mother is having her third stay in 2 years. Other than some some issues with the care transition…read moreoffice (and that team is no longer here) after her stay last year, Ignite has been dependable and comfortable, administering IV antibiotics twice a day, offering onsite dialysis (not many options for that in DFW), and physical & occupational therapy. The nurses and other staff are responsive and caring, and have always been happy to take my calls to check in on her. The facility is also clean and pleasant. I do not understand some of these reviews, but with three stays now (current one in progress) for completely different rehab issues, I feel our experience has been consistent and satisfactory. I'm grateful to have Ignite as an option after my mother's hospital stays when she needs more expert attention than can be provided at home.

He couldn't walk on his own and needed the restroom; after pressing the call button, no one responded for over 10 minutes. I had to go find help, and a nursing assistant eventually came. When I spoke with Barbara, the Patient Experience Manager, she said 10 minutes was standard and that by law they have up to two hours to respond to a call button. That was unbelievable to hear. He was later moved to a room that was actually ready, but he sat there all day with almost no staff interaction--aside from food trays being dropped off and picked up. He is 82 with multiple medical issues, yet his PT didn't start for several days and no one checked on him. Thankfully, my niece visited; he had an accident, and she helped clean him and change his clothes. Otherwise, he was left wearing the same clothes for days because he couldn't change them himself. This facility is advertised as skilled nursing and rehabilitation, but I saw neither. Leaving an 82-year-old alone all day without routine checks is unacceptable. For the most part, staff were rude and acted like he was a burden. If you want rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and a caring, attentive team, look elsewhere.
