Communication has been consistently rude and unprofessional. Text messages are sent without any greeting, and the tone is often condescending--spoken as if you're addressing a child rather than a paying parent. Respect should be reciprocal, and unfortunately, that has not been the case here. What makes this more frustrating is that I have already paid in full, so I have made every effort to remain professional despite the poor communication. My daughter's learner's permit is approaching expiration, yet while the owner can text to say the school is closed, she cannot provide a date for my daughter's final required driving appointment. That lack of accountability and clarity is unacceptable, especially when time-sensitive licensing is involved. Again, the instructors deserve recognition--they are patient and skilled. However, ownership sets the tone, and in this case, the tone is dismissive and disorganized. Based on communication and management alone, I would not recommend this driving school to others.

I booked a rental checkout and subsequent rental, and ultimately was no-showed by my CFI and received zero communication from the club. Weather impacted my initial checkout date, and I was able to reschedule with another CFI, but this was all done via text to CFIs without any central coordination from an office or flight desk. My CFI did not show up during our assigned checkout time, completely wasting what little time I had visiting Cleveland.

It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a country with a great group of people at a very reasonable cost (because if you are exploring a new country, who better to go with than people who literally flew around the world?!). Both instructors and members of the club went as well as non-pilot friends. General Aviation flying is a truly wonderful experience. Aviation was always a love and interest of mine and from the start I noticed that both the instructors and the pilots they trained are calm, confident, and very knowledgeable about aviation. I had so many questions and everyone was more than happy to share their knowledge, and the club members let me sit up front in the right seat on the way back so I could learn even more first hand! When I found myself in Cleveland again this summer, I took my first flight lesson with Corey. He quickly assessed where I was, explained what we would be doing in the air and we took off! He explained all the maneuvers very clearly and took me through practical exercises to demonstrate the concepts in flight (What happens if you make a turn only using the rudder? What happens if you cut the engine?). His instruction was so good that I wound up controlling the plane for the whole lesson with Corey making adjustments only when necessary. It is still somewhat surreal when I recall that I flew and landed an airplane! Learning to fly with T&G allows you to learn serious skills in a friendly and unintimidating atmosphere. Horrible experience. Poor kid had no clue what he was doing. The instructors would come over and…read moregive him tips and then leave and never come back. Looking at his experience they should have been helping and supervising the entire haircut. I left and had to go straight to another hair salon to get it fixed. My hair was uneven, neck had tons of hair left on it, and the sides were not faded into the top whatsoever. I feel bad for the kid who was doing the cut and learning. Also while he was doing the haircut another student came in with her suitcase and layed it on the floor as she unpacked it on the counter I was at. She kept bumping into me and the student working on my hair with no care. Very unprofessional
