DO NOT HIRE - SCAM ARTIST !! BELIEVE the other reviews!!! This guy will win you over in the beginning but it's not going to end well. Hired Chris to remodel our deck for $34K. He started the job in Nov'20 then basically never showed up one day. He gave some exuse the he was overcharged by the company who was supplying are trex deck and basically ran out of money. He was only half way through the job and we paid him close to the 34k at that point and it was Jan'21. 2 months later still doing the job and no where near done. He just never came back blew us Off and this new company who was supposedly taking over his business called Hammer Electric calls us to take over the job. Yes they finished the deck but left us high and dry as well. They were supposed to complete the deck with a full lighting and we got NO LIGHTING AT ALL! We paid a lot of money and basically got scammed for a half ass job. On top of that Chris and his guy plowed out the driveway for us and broke our fence in the driveway and never even told us they broke it and acted like nothing was wrong. We even tipped them for that and come to find out by CAMERAS they broke our fence. We tried contacting Chris SO MANY TIMES after he left us high and dry and he ignored us and never returned any calls. We treated Chris and his guys so well too, asked them everyday if they wanted coffee or something to Eat. To turn around and basically rob hard working people for money and scam them. Chris and company were the ultimate professionals. They arrived early, worked steadily, stuck to the estimated cost, and finished on time. They installed handrails on 2 sets of steps and a ramp, installed 3 gates, and replaced wooden deck verticals with vinyl. Work is beautiful read more

Do not hire this contractor. He will take your money and not show up to finish the job. We hired him to do work on our home he made promises he did not kept. Tried to at least 6 months to get him to send someone to finish up. Told us he would be here to finish snd did not show or call. He has now stopped responding to my messages. Do not trust this contractor! Ok Chris since you want to go there... we paid you all but what you say is 700.00. It was 500.00 to finish the job. We paid you a lot of money to do the work ahead of time..Yes in the beginning I did recommend you for work. The work was not the problem. Your management was the problem. Your promises were the problem. And our trust in you was the problem. The guys you had doing the work were great. However it was YOU that caused the issues. You promised things you did not keep. I also have everything I need to prove myself. I don't think you want to go there. Truly I don't want to put your private things out there. I was upfront with you told you I would even make payments to you to finish the job... your response....Text was "don't worry about the balance"...your words.. that was on July 24th. It has been months!! Yes you had a accident however my house should have been finished way before that so no excuse. You told me you have been slammed with business so please do not use that as an excuse apparently you were well enough to continue work.. My jobs should have been finished at the minimum of 8 months ago. All you had to do was honor the job we hired you for. We were more than accommodating to you. And if you say anything different you are a liar! I do not want to post all of your personal issues either. But I do not want to be threatened...My review stands and is true. read more

Wow Chris, that's just wrong! Lets be COMPLETELY honest! In the beginning yes, your guys did do a great job, your guys were awesome thru everything! I was the first to hire you to do my bathroom. When my husband and I first met you, you sold us on your ideas and promises. We told you our worries and you assured us you wouldn't let that happen. I then told Janice (my mother) about you as she was also looking for a contractor to redo her kitchen and bathroom. Your guys did do an great job on my bathroom, I will give you that! However it took a very long time and you were not completely dedicated to us. You started my job beginning of Feb and were finally done in May. Yes, by job did include extending the bathroom, but your workers were NOT there everyday. When you started my job, you also started other jobs as well as my mothers that you could not handle with a 4 man crew. Nothing Janice said is wrong. It was a problem from the beginning with her job, with your guys not showing up or you pulling them from her job to go do others because those customers were getting upset that you didn't have guys working on their jobs. Your poor guys were pulled all over the place. Your guys told us about being pulled from jobs because customers of other jobs you started weren't getting attention that was needed and expected. My mother was going to drop you as her contractor and find someone else who was willing to be dedicated and get the job done. (and since you want to put personal stuff out there) You begged and pleaded with her (and I) not to take the job away because you would lose everything, your house, your ex was going to take your son, you cant lose this job. You pulled on their heart strings and PROMISED them that you would make things right, be fully dedicated to them 100% everyday and YOU would PERSONALLY be there every day till the job was done, and you were not!! That was way before your accident. Still, nothing changed, your guys either didn't show up, or left after a few hours, at that point they were too far into the job with you to find someone else to pick up the work. You also told us that you would not ask for any money other then the initial down payment to get material to start the job, and you didn't not expect to be paid in full until the job was done and to the customers satisfaction. Many times you asked me and my mother for money in advance to "pay the guys". Janice paid you all but $700 of a $35,000 job. And the reason was not because she didn't have the money, she told you she would make payments till the job was done. You then told her because you had your accident and couldn't get your guys there you told her not to worry about the $700 (she also still has those messages) Months went by and she tried to contact you several times, at first you would respond and give her dates you would be there and not show. Those were days my father took off work (and lost days of pay) expecting you to show and you didn't. You also told us your work comes with a 1 year warranty. My husband contacted you a few times about work that needed to be fixed or touched up and you never showed for that, those things are still not done. There is always and excuse. This review wasn't meant to get into personal stuff, it was a review that you encouraged us to write on day 1, ( good or bad, your words) about our work experience with you. This review is about your dishonestly and you not keeping your word to finish the job and be a reliable contractor. Janice did finally give up on you and paid someone else to finish your job. We were both good to you and your guys Chris, we aren't the ones being dishonest here. Aside from whatever personal problems, the fact and reason for this bad review is because you did not hold up your end of the deal. I also know for a fact there are there customers that you started work for and didn't finish. I'm really sorry Chris. Janice gave you more then enough chances to finish and you didn't care. I personally would not recommend you to anyone else based on my personal experience. I really wish you all the best of luck. read more
