Worth every penny. It was nice to leave some of the navigating to professionals. Unfortunately they were all booked for Salzburg, but they were able to get me more than halfway there and I just boarded a train without a problem. Driver was right on time. It was thoughtful to provide a bottle of water for the trip. Their office in old town is currently closed but they can be reached by email. They respond within a few hours. read more

Worst Driver Experience of our Lives with a Dangerous and Abusive Driver. We booked a private shuttle to leave from Salzburg to Prague with a stopover in Cesky Krumlov on 21 June 2024. Scheduled departure was 12 PM and we were 8 people, including 2 seniors, 1 child, and 1 infant. We got out of our building at 12:08 PM, a 8-minute delay. The driver greeted us with "What are you doing? It is 12:08! Can you be late for a flight or train?" We were surprised to hear that because we had not booked a train or flight but a private car only to give us some flexibility. It took us another 5-7 minutes to keep the luggage in the car and finish boarding. By 12:15, we were all in the car. Instead of getting started, the driver again started berating us for the delay. He was incredibly rude, so much so that our child got intimidated and started crying. We explained that we had a 8-minute delay because (1) we had a lot of luggage and had to take 3 elevator rides; and (2) our infant was unwell and it took us time to settle her. His response: "Why are you traveling with a baby if you can't be on time?" He then started screaming because our child was not in the car seat. We explained to him that this was because the car was not moving yet. Given his tone and attitude, we had lost patience. When two of the ladies in our group started arguing with him because he was misbehaving, he shouted "Quiet" at them and gestured towards them as though he would hit them. At this point, we were worried about our physical safety and asked him to remove our luggage and de-board us. As if his physical threats and other offensive remarks were not enough, he added a dose of racism: "Only *you people* do this", he said to us as we got out of the car. The message was clear. In all of this, the response of the CK Shuttle Management has been most disappointing. Not once did we get an apology when we called them from the site of the incident. They have also not shared the driver's full name and failed to cooperate with the police investigation in Salzburg. As an employer, it is possible to make a bad hire with mental health issues (after all, mental health check-ups are not mandated). But there is no excuse for not owning up to your mistake. SO, PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE USING THIS COMPANY. Their drivers are dangerous people and it is a company that does mot care about its customers. And if you are traveling with seniors or children, definitely do not use this company. Finally, if you have already made the mistake of making a reservation, triple-check that the driver is not Josef. read more
Never in a zillion, trillion years would I have thought packing 5 adults all carrying 2-weeks worth of gear into a tiny European Volkswagon hatchback for a 4.5 hour car ride from the Czech Republic to Munich, Germany could be an enjoyable experience... yet somehow, it was. We owe it all to our driver. whose name I forgot because I'm a jerk, but it was something really common and he was actually pretty young... probably late 20s, maybe early 30s and he's also an EMT, a dad, and about 10,000 other things because times are tough and homeboy's just trying to earn a living. Anyway, our driver was insanely awesome. We learned so much about the culture. About how Texas is the basis for oh-so-very-many American stereotypes. And basically everything else under the sun. It was the shortest 4.5 hour cramped-as-f*ck car ride I've ever been on. In fact, I'd actually planned on trying to sleep, but the conversations we had with our driver were so enlightening that we couldn't help but become engrossed. My only neg for CK shuttle is that getting a hold of them is hella difficult and confusing. Their office based in cesky krumlov was always locked and closed, despite their hours showing they should be open, and if you don't speak the native language it can be extremely hard to get your ish booked without it getting lost in translation. The price of your shuttle will vary based on time your leaving and how many people they can accommodate. If they can double book a larger van with several groups leaving from and going to the same place you can get a pretty decent deal, but in the off-season when we were traveling it just didn't work out. read more
CK Shuttle made my trip in Czech so much easier!!! We were trying to get to Chesky Krumlov from Munich by train first. My friend looked up the route and it was supposed to be just 2 trains and a bus. Only to find out that it was going to take another 3 trains and a bus, at the station of Linz Austria after 5 hrs spent on trains. We were so exhausted already and there was no way we were going to spend another 5hrs transiting so many times. I found CK Shuttle by web and called them up. We were told that they could pick us up at the station in two hours!! I was so relieved!! The shuttle driver even showed up 30 min earlier. We loved how easy and cheap it was, so we decided to use CK Shuttle again from Chesky Krumlov to Prague. Again a different shuttle driver was early, friendly and courteous. It was a fun 3.5hr ride as he spoke very good English. If you are going to Czech or going to a different country from Czech, I strongly recommend to use CK Shuttle. They go to a lot of places at an affordable price. The trains are not necessarily cheaper or faster sometimes, especially if you are going to a smaller town, as they probably don't have a direct train. My friend and I learned the hard way after wasting 100 euro and 5 hrs. Thank you so much CK Shuttle :) read more

I have to admit I was apprehensive at first- the process seemed almost too easy and when you're a female traveling solo...you tend to question things more..."never trust nobody" (in the words of my husband's Jersey grandfather). However, it was all as good as it sounded with CK Shuttle. I purchased my ticket online 48 hours in advance with the route of Halstatt, Austria to Cesky Krumlov, Prague in three hours by shuttle bus. The bus picked us up at the Halstatt bus stop and dropped everyone off at their hotel for $35 USD. My driver, Jan, was punctual, friendly and professional. And most likely importantly, he drove very safely. I was even greeted with a bottle of water when I crawled into the clean bus. Note that this same route would have taken six hours by train with four changes and by my estimate, cost more. Highly recommend CK Shuttle Services if you're hopping between cities in Austria and Czech Republic! read more

Used this service twice. Once with a private shuttle, and once with the shared van. We used a private shuttle for our private trip from Munich to CK. Our driver (Roman) was waiting in the lobby early and was extremely helpful with our bags. He was practicing his English and wanted to talk about Czech Republic the entire way, which I was very interested in. He even stopped to let me take a few pictures. Five stars easy for this experience. Our second trip was a shared van to Vienna. I booked it for 9am, but they changed it a few days prior to 9:40am for whatever reason. I wasn't happy with the change because I only had one day to see Vienna, but I thought whatever it's only a short delay. On the day of the shuttle, the new driver ended up being about 10 minutes late. When he arrived, the van was packed, and we still had to stop at one more hotel. Space was tight on the van, and they even squeezed two people in the front seat next to the driver. Upon approaching Vienna, the driver tells us he has to make an airport stop, which is 30 minutes out of the way from the city center. That added another hour to the trip. Bottom line: I booked a 9am transfer for a 12pm arrival, but I didn't end up getting to Vienna until 2:30pm. Use the private shuttle if you can. read more
I had a difficult time finding this company. If you search for them online, you can find them by searching CK Shuttle or Bean Shuttle. The easiest way to book is by contacting info@beanshuttle.com or beanshuttle@gmail.com. They speak perfect English, and the drivers are so friendly. They offer door to door service. It's like your own private taxi but way less expensive. I contacted them the night before we were going to leave Prague, and I had an email response within 15 minutes. They do charge you a deposit, but it's legitimate. They showed up at our hotel door in Prague 5 minutes early. We rode to Český Krumlov with another American couple, and from there, we rode with another driver all the way to Hallstatt. There are quick, safe and reliable, and I highly recommend them. read more

My wife and used CK Shuttle in June, first from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov and then again from Cesky Krumlov to Prague. We were very pleased with the service. They were punctual, the vans were comfortable and we would use their service again without hesitation. read more

Without knowing there was RegioJet, we booked the shuttle from Vienna to Cesky Krunlov. They packed every seat in an 8-seat van (two passengers on the front row in addition to the driver). The cost was 30 euros per person. There was a deposit (about half amount) that was required at the time of booking, which is NOT refundable. We later tried to make a change on a schedule from CK to Prague, but we were told the first deposit was forfeited. We later found RegioJet, with a big bus, on-demand entertainment screen, for 7 euros per person, getting to our destination in the same amount of time. read more

Courteous, on time, clean, friendly, offered good advice ..... very nice service. We took a detour from Linz and spent a day in Cesky Krumlov. Used the CK shuttle to go back and forth in the same day. I can recommend CK shuttle without reservation. read more

They flat-out refused to take my travel companion's medical-alert dog. Said they didn't have a proper "cage" for her to ride in. I guess discrimination based on disability is OK in the Czech Republic? In the US they'd have to pay a fine for noncompliance with the Americans with Disabilies Act. read more
