I had Transform install a 21kw system with a backup battery in December of 2025. The process was…read morevery seamless. I would like to point out that Scott Tucker at transform is the shining star of the company. He spent hours on phone calls with me working out all of the details I had and was able to answer just about every question I had. The questions he could not answer, he reached out to the manufactures and provided answers in a timely manner. I reached out to 7 different solar companies. All had about the same price, but none of them had a Scott Tucker. So far, the system has been more than offsetting our needs and we even had the backup battery come into play a couple of times. It was nice still having heat during the coldest day of the year while the rest of the neighborhood was without power. The installers were very quick and fearless they way they just slung the panels up on the roof. And once everything was installed, there were a few "bugs" in the system that they took care of and I didn't need to stay on top of them to get the system fully operational; they contacted me to let me know they had some finishing touches that needed to be completed and they also performed checks on the system to make sure it was 100%.

I came across some serious family issues and needed to cancel my plans of getting solar put on my house. It was also more than 10 days after when they said in the paper work they were going to have the construction done on my house. I hadn't had one thing done to my house by them at all. NOT ONE THING. They put a lien on my house and are insisting me to pay 5% of the contract amount. I asked them to take off my lien and they said no. I told them I would most likely be willing to take them to court and they said if I did that then they would change their request to the entire amount of the solar system. My solar was going to cost $50k so I now have to pay the 5% if I don't want to file a law suit on them which I will. That's $2500 for getting nothing from them. I've spoken to other solar companies and read through their paper work and not one other company I've seen holds their customers feet to the fire like this. I would never recommend doing business with AC/DC Solar LLC. If you have signed their paper work cancel it quick before the 3 days are up. Do not sign their paper work.

Everyone wanted to sell me anywhere from 12 panels to as many as 20. My roof would not have the space for so many anyway that would receive enough sunlight. Fortunately, I contacted Coast to Coast, and they were willing to work with me on my needs. I watched their installers Breck and Anthony, and could see how careful they are, and how they really do know how to wire it all up correctly. Passed the county inspection just fine, and then Lakeland Electric finally gave us the go ahead to operate the system. Stephanie in the office was excellent at getting things scheduled and pushing the crew to finish things so we were ready for inspections, and then it was done ! System works just fine, and I feel certain that should I need any service, they will be right there for me. I was happy with the estimate they gave me, and I even got a military discount! Absolutely the most unprofessional and incompetent contractor 'Ive ever worked with. Originally, he…read moretold me the solar installation would be a 2 to 3 day job. It ended up being a 7 days process. I understand things happen, but keep me in the loop. He and his crew showed up wreaking like marijuana every day. They worked on my roof untethered and without any safety gear. He left chunks of tile and spray foam everywhere. The covers used for the brackets were all bent, not flat to the tile and unsightly. Some of the loose spray foam went into my neighbors yard as well. The VP of my HOA even had to get involved. When I asked him to come back and clean up, he informed me that he has a family and needs to spend time with them. How about doing your job first!? He finally came back after I had to call my project manager. Not to mention the spray foam he left in my gutters clogged my french drains, and I had to have them cleaned out. Also, he broke the attic hatch in my garage. When I pointed it out to him, he said he would fix it. He never did. Now over the past couple of days I noticed my air conditioning is not keeping up with demand. I decided to go into the attic and take a look. The installer cut out big chunks of my spray foam insulation from my roof and never replaced it, nor did he even informed me that it needs to be replaced. I have given him several opportunities to make it right to no avail. On my Google review, he readily admits to allowing somebody who was intoxicated by marijuana on my roof. Also, there were several days he was here by himself and smelt of marijuana. He further admits that he took down the spray foam in my attic and never replaced it. He also, childishly says he's going to write counter reviews for other contractors. He messed up, and he's not taking any responsibility. Now after having another Solar installation company come and fix his mistakes; I was informed that there was numerous code violations. He created an unsafe living condition in my home. Stay away from this company!!

The painters denied causing the issue, so I had to address it myself. I contacted Fox, got a callback and made an appointment within a couple of days. I'd happily contact Fox again, if I had any electrical issue.
