SURPRISE!!!! warranty does not cover damage from wind. Checked the weather service high winds were 18mph the day this occurred. $750 for a new panel and $250 service call. Still down 1 less panel and no responsibility taken for a lousy installation. Two of my direct neighbors have the same exact system installed by solar solutions and they have no damage. Tim says the wind doesn't effect everybody's installation the same, I agree it only effect the sub-par installations. He did such a thorough job cleaning them and gave us lots of before and after photos. Also throughout his visit he provided a lot of useful information about solar technology in general (as he is a former solar panel installer himself). After he was finished cleaning the panels we checked the inverter and the output was up by more than 20%! We will definitely get Solar Suds back to clean the panels more regularly in the future.

The roofers removed the siding a little while doing the roof and did not nail it back on The Gables . When I told them about this they insisted it was not their fault but they could put new siding under where we have siding for $1,700 . They claim it is not them and they are not responsible . I had a roofing company come and check out what was going on and they told us the roofers from advantage Roofing did not nail back the siding allowing water to seep in at both Gables . I would not recommend them . We use them because we have solar panels on the roof and they had to put those back after the new roof was put on . I believe if you are in business you would try everything to keep your customers and get good reviews but this was not the case with them .

They came out the very next day and William was the only technician who actually got up on the roof and took thorough pictures to actually show me all the trouble spots. They were also the only company that color matched my tiles perfectly to the current ones I had. The roof repair went smooth and everything has been resolved. Extremely happy with the service. THEN just this past week the AC went out and they sent a technician out right away, quoted me, and we got scheduled for a new unit. The technician, Ernesto, was such a pleasure to deal with.
