I came across some serious family issues and needed to cancel my plans of getting solar put on my house. It was also more than 10 days after when they said in the paper work they were going to have the construction done on my house. I hadn't had one thing done to my house by them at all. NOT ONE THING. They put a lien on my house and are insisting me to pay 5% of the contract amount. I asked them to take off my lien and they said no. I told them I would most likely be willing to take them to court and they said if I did that then they would change their request to the entire amount of the solar system. My solar was going to cost $50k so I now have to pay the 5% if I don't want to file a law suit on them which I will. That's $2500 for getting nothing from them. I've spoken to other solar companies and read through their paper work and not one other company I've seen holds their customers feet to the fire like this. I would never recommend doing business with AC/DC Solar LLC. If you have signed their paper work cancel it quick before the 3 days are up. Do not sign their paper work.

I would like to point out that Scott Tucker at transform is the shining star of the company. He spent hours on phone calls with me working out all of the details I had and was able to answer just about every question I had. The questions he could not answer, he reached out to the manufactures and provided answers in a timely manner. I reached out to 7 different solar companies. All had about the same price, but none of them had a Scott Tucker. So far, the system has been more than offsetting our needs and we even had the backup battery come into play a couple of times. It was nice still having heat during the coldest day of the year while the rest of the neighborhood was without power. The installers were very quick and fearless they way they just slung the panels up on the roof. And once everything was installed, there were a few "bugs" in the system that they took care of and I didn't need to stay on top of them to get the system fully operational; they contacted me to let me know they had some finishing touches that needed to be completed and they also performed checks on the system to make sure it was 100%.

He was very apologetic for the manner in which the office staff heckled me without the roof inspection for their check. I did not go through a roofers claim and had already paid them a deposit via check without incident this is my first home, and everything what disorganized, not explained clearly, and when things were it was usually by people who clearly arent thrilled by their jobs (as if they are the ones paying for the roof). The roofers completed the job in a day. Despite tornado watch and rain conditions, chimney was successfully completely in a day. The director of operations Samantha K. And her subordinate Jenna, and their attitudes, were absolutely horrendous to deal with-- arrogant, bad tone, and aggressive. Now I see what the previous clients meant by their unprofessionalism, entitlement, and callous demeanor as a result, I wouldn't recommend this company to a dog flea, and would encourage others to not only get quotes from other companies, but to read all of the numerous negative reviews they have received across multiple platforms. Their site manager Jacob, was nice but lost in the sauce. After letting Samantha know Jacob had never sent the photos or reached out she insinuated I might have had his number blocked which was totally false since I have an open line of communication not only for the roofing team but also for other contractos (unrelated) doing upgrades on my home, she covered for the poor behaviors of both parties, and Jenna's terrible disposition, until she finally ran out of excuses, relented, and gave a real pathetic apology. moment she answered the phone.
