They ordered my husbands pants WAY to big after we told them multiple times we wanted a slim fit. He tried on the pants and they insisted it was right and they check and it was wrong. Causing them to drop ship the pants two days before the wedding. Talk about nerve racking. My father and brother drove two hours to the shop and they were closed an hour early after they listened to the answering machine and it was wrong. Would not open the doors and wasted a trip. Love the shop but not for someone with a large wedding party.

The next day, I returned to swap this out for the lotion. I was assisted by another young lady and her service was just as good as the other two from the day before. Is that normal to deter people from using it directly on their lips or are they just abused? This made testing difficult but I did settle on a shade for that day. The lady behind the counter was friendly and she urged me to request a sample after I paid, as well as any other time I would be by. She assured me that if a sample of my preferred product was not available, she would try to make one for me. Instead of just tossing a random item in my bag, she asked what my skin was like and what sort of products I was looking for. After I mentioned combination skin and leaning more towards natural beauty, she gave me a 0.5 fl oz sample of Origins Activated Charcoal Mask. Being Korean, I obviously LOVE face masks so I was happy to get another one. We've been here twice and have purchased nothing. We were touring the state, last year, and decided to stop in. Upon realizing there was nothing I could use and nothing small enough to fit my wife, we apologized to the women working there. "Omg, don't apologize! We're so glad you stopped to take a look. We hope you come back on your next visit to Michigan (we live in Alaska) even if it's just to say hi!" This year we came back and brought a cousin, Deborah and our two Vegas friends we've known since high school. They loved the shop and the women working that day. Deborah actually found a blouse for an informal wedding the next day. Our friends seemed to land in clothing Mecca. Two outfits each and she walked off with new shoes and various ladies things. An employee was working in the clearance, and she kept pushing into my back as I looked. I moved back, and then she said, "Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there." Yeah, okay. When I found what I was looking for, it was priced $75, but online it's priced $20.99. I put it back and went to look at my size on the other side of the clearance. As I started walking, another employee walked right for me and did not attempt to stop. I stop short of us crashing into each other. She says nothing and continues on her mission. I put the sweater back and left. This is an excellent example of why your stores are failing. The elitist attitude of Torrid employees is so gross. It's their world.
