Made an appointment online to get my ears pierced for 1:30 pm later the same day (just over 2 hours in advance). Immediately after, we also called to confirm they were open and told whoever picked up our call we had an appointment. When we arrived a few minutes early, we walked up to the door to find the door locked and lights out. There was a note stating, "Out on lunch break until 3pm." My sister had also decided she wanted to have hers pierced on the way over. We looked online and found out Kay also offers ear piercing few hundred feet away! I had a great experience there. If you see someone by the name of Faith there, RUN... she pierced my ear then took the earring out and I now have no piercing and a swollen ear. Please spare yourself and go to another location or actually don't go at all. My little sister could do a better job then she did... I called customer support and they were little to no help. Please vacuum for the love of God. I do not know what is happening at this place but every time we go in, the lights are all turned off and it looks like a gale force wind blew the door open and knocked items all over the ground. The floors have not been dealt with in probably a year. It is so gross to see hair, huge clumps of dust and merchandise all over the ground while somebody sits behind the counter on their phone. I'm not sure why management is paying a person to text when the store looks the way it does, but I certainly would not feel comfortable getting my ears pierced in a place that was so unkempt. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. I have 2 cartilage piercings in one ear. According to another reviewer I must have had Danielle for the first one (LONG nails, could barely function). = did not clean my ears, put gloves on only to touch EVERYTHING while wearing them (pen, clipboard, bottle, mirror, etc.) A couple days later I go back to get 2nd one and a younger girl helped me. = did not wash my ears, put gloves on only to touch everything, pierced at an angle downwards. NOW, my ear is infected, swollen and very painful only 4/2 days later. NEVER will I go to or recommend Claires for any piercings in the future. read more

I must warn people about getting their ears piercing at Claire's in the mall of Georgia. I had ears pierced their before and spent maybe 100 dollars. I went back a few months ago and was never told of a price. Or even offered a choice. I spent 260.00. Ears got infected, even though I cleaned them several times daily. I contacted corporate twice with a complaint. They shoved it under the rug. No offer to re pierce for free and or a partial refund. Nearly every time I go to this store it is closed--even though the sign clearly shows that it is supposed to be open. I called another Claire's store location and was told that they are short staffed and therefore, no one to open the store. IF it is going to be closed, they should post a sign. I was there yesterday (with 3 other customers waiting outside, tugging on a locked door). It appears to open at the whim of the manager, so you never know if it will be open or not. No one answers the phone to let you know what is going on. PLEASE, either open or close, and let people know what your actual hours are. And maybe hire someone to work in your store??? The last time I was there when it was open there was one person working with about 10 customers needing assistance. Plenty of people are looking for work, so just hire someone! read more

I shopped at Claire's at The Shoppes @ Webb Ginn. This is the WORST shopping experience with this company! There are too many reasons why this particular shop is terrible, so I'll list the major reasons. First, the employees were late teens/early 20s girls that were obviously not interested in working. Because girl#1 was seated on a stool behind cash register with headphones on and scrolling on her cellphone. Girl#2 was laying on the floor to the side of the cash register station counter, curled up sound asleep and actually SNORING!!! I should've recorded this and put it on TikTok. Maybe that would get Claire's attention? Customers had to actually step around her as she was half blocking the area. Second, girl#1 told me that they do not price match online prices (which were 50%less) so I chose to place an order online and pick it up in store. It's supposed to be ready in 2 hours or less. I waited over 1 hour, still not ready; mind you, I handpicked the items I wanted and they held them in a bag behind the counter. But I cannot pick them up until order comes through online. 2 days of calling to check on my order and I finally got to pick them up on Sunday! The girls kept saying that the store's WiFi and app was down so they could not process my order. I even called customer service and they said nothing they could do. RIDICULOUS!!! If you've read this far, hang on, it keeps getting better. While at this store on day 1 and before placing my order online in my car, I asked girl#1 about the magnetic earrings and if they stay in versus clip ons. She said, and I'm not kidding, "Teenage boys wear the magnetic earrings when deciding if they want to get their ears pierced.....Oh, only old people wear clip ons". Then, on one of the numerous times I called to check on my order, girl#1 answered the phone. She said she'd check but must have forgotten I was still on the phone as she could be heard cursing back n forth with I'm pretty sure was snoring girl#2. She was dropping the f-bomb word multiple times plus other curse words. I said hello several times to see if she'd remember I was still on the phone but nothing. They continued their conversation and I finally got tired of this and hung up. Third, customers are supposed to get emailed when their order is ready. I never received notification. I had to call. And this is across multiple locations. As I decided to place my order at another location since I had no faith in the Snellville store. So I basically wasted an entire weekend trying to get what I ordered and ultimately had to travel to 3 locations. Also the company's inventory listed online does not match what the store has. I know this for a fact as I had the items in hand, which Snellville store was holding behind the counter, and it showed not available at this location. If they did daily inventory that might help with accuracy. Anyways, the takeaway from this is that other locations are not at all like Snellville store. Avoid this store! I would just like to tell you about my experience at Store 05506. I brought my 3 month old daughter to get her ears pierced. Y'all were out of just about every earring I was interested in. I finally settled on a yellow gold 3mm cz. The cashier Danielle had two inch fingernails and had to try about 10 times just to get the dots right. Well that was pointless because where she pierced her ears is clearly not where she marked the dots! Because of her ridiculously long nails the gun got stuck and she proceeds to yank the gun back and forth tearing her ear and making it bleed more all while she is screaming. This lasts about 2 minutes before she finally pries it out of her ear. I then realize that Danielle broke the $56 earring I just purchased ! It is complete uneven and neither earring is where she marked it. I am very very upset with my experience. I just completely wasted $71.00 and put my baby through unnecessary pain because I will now pull these uneven earrings out of her ears and get them repierced elsewhere in the future! read more

This Claire's is the worst I have ever been to. Me and my friend went in to get our 3rd holes pierced today. A lady, with ridiculously long fingers, who was rude and didn't pay attention at all to what we were saying told us that she would pierce our ears. I picked out the earrings I liked first and then my friend asked a few questions about a few different earrings and then finally chose hers. I decided to go first. So the lady put her gloves on marked the spot and proceeded to pierce my left ear. She got it trough my ear, but failed to put the back on and then my friend looked at it and said " oh we got the same earrings". I proceeded to look at it and I said oh no I didn't pick this one out this is hers. So here I am with the earring already in my ear that's the WRONG ONE. The lady said oh well it's a misunderstanding, I thought that your friend was picking out earrings for you... um excuse me no we both said that we were getting them pierced. The lady did not apologize at all... instead she tried to blame it on us and then told me that if I wanted the ones I picked out to be put in my ear she would have to take the one in out and try to put it through the hole she just pierced. She didn't offer me a discount or say that she could give me earrings she had already put in my ear for the same price ( the original ones I had picked out we're cheaper). No apology, nothing... The lady then pulls its out of my ear and try's to put the originally ones that I picked in by shoving it in and twisting it with her long fingernails. She couldn't get it in but she kept on and it was really hurting. I ended up getting out of the chair and decided that I did not want to get anything pierced at all. HOW RUDE was this lady. She is awful, untrained, unapologetic, and needs some serious training or either to be fired. When you mess up and stick a needle through someone's ear with the wrong earring there needs to be something done to make the moment right. There is nothing I can say good about this store. Its a mess, the employees there are not helpful & lazy. I walked in, wasn't greeted, nor given any information about anything. I wanted to get my 4 month old little girl pierced & the selection was awful, 90% of the earrings were missing. The lady, if you want to call her that, had very loong nails & stringy dirty hair that was behind the counter & instead of acknowledging that I was there she continued to play on her was playing on her phone & then she finally looked up she said "what do you want". I informed her I wanted to get my daughters ears pierced, she gave snarky comment under her breathe of which I could not hear. I went to the ear piercing table while she was still at the counter playing on her phone so I said I need help here so finally came to the front to talk about the earrings. She attempted to sell me some diamond that was out of my price range so I wanted the crystal daisy in white gold. She did not clean anything, she put gloves on then touched everything from the pen to the clipboard to the trash can, everything with gloves on, then dotted my daughters (without cleaning them), I asked her to clean them before & she rolled her eyes & said "fine" then re-dotted, the dots were uneven, then she pierced & then gun got jammed, I think it was her very long nails, she was pulling on the gun to get it out & in the process made my daughters ears bleed. Needless to say I was charged $75 for damaged messed up earrings. I quickly took them out, causing my child more pain. I will not bring my child to Claires for anything at all nor will recommend this place. Horrible customer service & horrible selection of items. read more
