We ALWAYS repair our vehicle for any issues and practice both scheduled and preventative maintenance. We went to Boomer this time because dealer was overbooked on holidays, and we got a recommendation for them. The day after leaving, driveway had THREE leak spots. Took to another shop who identified multiple bolts and gaskets not replaced, wiring harnesses hanging loose. Other issues include Air filter put in backwards. Damage to radiator putting it back in place. Damage to brackets on fan clutch that require replacement of whole fan clutch to prevent wires getting caught in fan. Turbo hose not connected properly. Overfilled transmission fluid caused additional damage. Overfilled coolant. It goes on. The $1,900 we paid to Boomer was followed by another $2,000 to repair the damage they caused. And their warranty company told us, sorry, the warranty does NOT cover poor workmanship, only parts and labor to replace the work actually done, so the warranty covered only a small fraction of the rework and new repairs that had to be done.

I had never been here before, and I do not car maintenance often. So, it is difficult to build…read morerelationship with a good shop that will be fair and courteous and UPRIGHT. I took my 2014 Impala in for an oil change and filter and lube, they charged me $60, and I was pleased. Then I took my 2012 Challenger in 30 minutes later, and they roll the labor for the change and lube and filter into the cost of oil quarts which comes to around $12.50 per quart, which i find acceptable, then of course the oil filter which is a little extra. I also requested some new wind shield wiper blades, and they charged me $30 for those and $40 labor to put them on, which I find a little steep, so for an oil change/lube and new wiper blades it cost me $150, so I think that was a tad steep, and the reason the employee say that was the price was because their computer wasn't working or something like that, and they was ballparking it, so I spend $210 total for two oil changes and a pair of wiper blades, it is too bad I will have to keep looking, because I need coolant flushes on both cars soon, and I will not be returning there.
