Worst place ever actually can't believe this place has not been shut dow.I had an experience at this place.I Truley hope people checkthe low reveiws of this business and believe every one of them. Ok so I took my truck in for a coolant flush and diagnostics and told them it was going to need stand pipes and dummy plugs minimum.Few days later they said ok I need oil cooler that will fix it I said great I PAID THEM ALMOST 7000.00!Then go to pick up my truck it still won't start hot turns out it needs stand pipes and dummy plugs which if you remember itold them it needed when I took it in to them.Since I already paid them to change an oil cooler wich by the way they charged me as much as a complete rebuild at any other shop I was against taking my truck back into them I forgot to mention this is my dailey driver I drove the truck to their shop.Manager calls me since I left terrible google review says he don't want like the truck leaving unfixed made me think awesome maybe this place is ok after all.Boy was I wrong I drove my truck into their shop few days later I'm told truck is done go to pick it up which is understatement.Hopped in my truck tried to drive it barely made it to their shop few street terrible grinding actually made it to parking lot straight across the street I'd say what maybe twenty feet wheel bearing completely gone!Get out to see what's wrong jump out look at my truck and every bit of my coolant is pouring out of my engine compartment!They say they did nothing wrong apparently it's normal to take a truck to a shop drive it there mind you I always thought you would pay 7000.00 pretty good chance you'd get to drive the vehicle home I had to have my truck towed home from their shop had to have the repairs made that the shop did to my vehicle they completely say that they did nothing wrong.So if anyone actually reads reviews make your own decision but make sure you read the bad reviews I will from now on believe that...If this review saves one person from falling victim to this repair shop it was worth it..I pray no other person ever gets ripped off by this place again.Pick a different place any place.Thanks for reading and good luck on your shop search this place isn't what anyone is looking for in a repair facility.......I wish they had negative stars this place deserves --7000 read more

In a nutshell, a simple wheel bearing job quoted at less than $300 ended up being just under $1000. They also offered to flush my coolant for $200, which had just been flushed 3 days prior. I have two other cars. One needs a differential and the other a transmission swap. I think it was worth the $700 to find out this shop is definitely about taking your money vs keeping customers. 2004 F-250 XLT 199,600 mi 2wd, 5.4 V8 These guys are top notch! Don't bother going anywhere else... When the dealership told me the part (ECM) was obsolete they pretty much told me they can't help. (Guessing it's too old for them to even consider working on.) RC Auto were happy to help me. I did do some research on what was wrong with it and on RC Auto. (Which by the way, they have high ratings) They told me that I gave them a great place to start to look for the problem. Not only were they able to diagnose that it was what I had originally thought they said they know of someone who can repair my original ECM. Sooo that means I didn't have to buy a new aftermarket one AND have it programmed. What I paid to have it repaired was the cost of an aftermarket anyways. So they definitely help save money when they can. Gave me a worst case scenario and when they were done the PCM repair was 60$ cheaper. (Could have easily pocketed it, but didn't) So they are very honest on passing the savings if possible. Ralph was awesome!!! It was so easy to keep in touch with them and they get back to you quickly too. Answered all my questions. Everyone in the office was super nice and patient with me. Now if only they sold vehicles too it would be a complete package and we could all skip the stealership!!! Great job guys keep it up and I will definitely refer you to anyone I know. read more

From start to finish these guys knew what they were doing! Insurance companies didn't work out, so trusting someone with a $9,000 out of pocket job was hard. I talked to Christopher about my 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat Sport & within 1-2 days he could tell me everything that was wrong with it. He showed many pictures of the areas damaged & readings from a computer showing exactly where the truck was having problems. He told me he could order parts directly from Ford with Warranty & get them here & that a Certified Ford Technician would work on the truck to assure the work was done right. I proceeded to order parts & get it done. All parts came in early & the job was done, once the parts arrive. Christopher called me & let me know when they arrived & what was going on the whole time & made the process so smooth. I waited almost a month before review to test the truck & the truck runs like its brand new! I'm very very pleased! Hands down some genuine guys, running a great auto shop! thank you all for the hard work! Once again, these guys provided exceptional service when the alternator on my Chrysler 300S suddenly failed (due to a known issue for which Chrysler has yet to issue a formal recall). After I coasted off the highway and my car broke down and died completely in the Cracker Barrel parking lot, I knew who where to tell the tow truck to take my car. RC Auto found a replacement alternator with the right amperage on the Friday before Christmas (12/22), and had it replaced and my vehicle ready for pickup by Saturday (12/23). read more

These guys let irreplaceable items get stolen out of my truck, and offered me zero restitution for their negligence. They also wanted 13,000$ to put a new engine in a 5000 truck. Crooks, stay away! Edit: I have residence in both Tulsa and Denver, it was a blue lifted f250 and over 1000$ worth of hockey gear was stolen while it was in your care. You also had to replace the rear main seal two times because it still leaked after the first time. read more

I dropped my car off shortly after they opened at around 7:40 am to check out a non-functioning A/C system and an oil leak. At around 1:15 that afternoon I got a phone call saying that the whole A/C system needed to be replaced at a cost of close to $1700 which is more that double the value of my whole car in working condition on the market. I was quoted a $250+ cost for the oil leak which was due to a faulty oil pressure switch. I declined service for the A/C system, asked them to go ahead and replace the oil pressure switch and was told they would call when it was done. Approximately 4 hours later I had not received a phone call so I decided to call and get the status of the repair. I was told my car would be ready around lunchtime the next day because the part had to be "ordered". I did some checking and this is a $20 part, was in stock at both O'Reilly's and Autozone, each of which is within 2 miles of this shop. I picked up my car around 11:00 the next morning. Minus the $80 to "diagnose" the A/C system, the final bill was as expected but this included $15.00 for a motor oil additive and a $52.00 charge for a $20 part that was sitting on the shelf at the local parts store. Come on people, really?! I should have known better. read more

Not normally a negative reviewer but I figured I'd save anyone else from experiencing what I did. I contacted RC on a Thursday in hopes of finding an alternative to the local dealerships which seem to take your vehicle, sit on it for hours or days. I don't even really care about the costs-I just want to find a dependable repair shop that doesn't mess you around. I explained this to them when I made my appointment and then I made an 7:30 appointment on the following Monday to have brakes checked, replace pads, rotors or whatever else was needed as I tow regularly and my truck has 80k miles Also asked them to locate the cause to an intermittent braking noise. I dropped of my truck at 7:30 and caught a ride to work. After 5 hours I hadn't heard from them and then figured I'd call to check. I was told "the mechanic was on lunch". Waited another 2 hours and called again because I had still heard nothing from them. Was told the mechanic "drove it but didn't hear anything". I was curious and questioned why after 7 hours all they had done was "drove it". I informed them that I would instead come pick up my truck and take it to someplace that would actually look at my truck and not just let it sit there for an entire day. They then called me back about 30 minutes later and said the mechanic looked at my brakes and didn't see any major grooving (gave no report on the pad depth, etc) but instead wanted me to come back up to their location so I could take the mechanic for a ride. I stated if that's what they needed they should've asked that at the beginning of the diagnosis, or a few hours in not an entire day later. So at 4:00 (8.5 hours later) I picked up my truck, they gave me no report just handed me the keys. Not sure my brakes pads are good or not, have no clue what the grinding noise is. I wasted time and money on Uber rides to and from work, my truck is in no better condition than before nor am I informed about my brakes. And I'm back to square one of trying to find a dependable alternative to the dealer. The 1 star is because they didn't charge me to sit on my truck for the day. read more

I took my car in to get the oil changed and get my 150,000 mile check up. Due to my past experience with auto repair, I figured they would tell me a bunch of extra stuff I "needed" to get done. However, when they called me that afternoon to let me know it was ready, the guy told me everything looked fine and they just changed the oil. I was pretty shocked. It's hard to find a shop that won't try to rip you off. I was told it would cost over $900 to change the transmission fluid, filter, and gasket - and an extra $600 to fix some leaky transmission cooler lines and the solenoid pack for a 1999 grand caravan. Anyone who knows a little bit about vehicle maintenance knows that price is completely outrageous. Personally, I would not trust RC Auto Specialists with anything I own! read more

A few months back my car wouldn't start. I had it towed to RC auto. They were wonderful about keeping me updated and being truthful with me about the cost. I got new break pads, a new battery and new connectors. They let me know I desperately needed new tires and told me a few good places to go for that. I also thought I needed an oil change, so I asked them if they would go ahead and do that for me while it was there. However, they checked my oil and said it was fine and didn't need to be changed! I was so impressed with this, they easily could have made an extra $50 off me. I will definitely use them again! read more

These guys at RC Auto did a fantastic job taking good care of my car after the ball joint broke on my car while driving down Tulsa streets early one morning. The tow truck was able to deliver the car just as they opened for business. After only a few short hours very throughly checking out what needed repaired they called me with some options and a suggestion for preventative maintenance. The hectic busy schedule I keep doesn't allow much time to be without wheels under my feet. So I was very happy they noticed the power steering fluid needed flushed. Much to my surprise later that day around 2:30 I received a call from RC Auto with the message my car is ready to go home! I was super happy to hear of this and picked it up! A few days later, I find myself writing this review with my car still running and driving great! To add even more to this, they messaged me this morning to ensure the car repair was to my satisfaction. This is why I give 5 stars! An awesome shop tucked back out of sight. First repair one of the mechanics accidentally backed into my car. They had an estimate done ASAP and were willing to get it fixed. They could have lied and claimed it happened outside and it was a hit and run by another customer. Another time they not only fixed the car but recommended an excellent and more than reasonable tow truck. They treat ladies with respect and don't skim over things like its beyond female comprehension. read more
