This is definitely one of the better courses I've played, reminds me of Lake Lanier's. You HAVE to try the course at least once in your life if you come down here, but the customer service has been a let down for me. Through the 4 years, I've played on this course more than 25+ times and each time there seems to be issues with staff. Some agreeable issues, but most were random stuff that made you think they single out college students if they believe you can't play. Whether you don't dress right, don't have great clubs, or anything that seems amateure, they will find something to confront you about. No it's not poor play, slow pace, or anything. I usually play scrambles and shoot consistent 70's when doing so. If not scramble, I'm in the high 80's to low 90's. It's just something that's always been a issue that I wish I had answers to. Maybe it's the management, not Olsen he's a great man, but something is wrong with those students. Overall, it's a great course you should definitely try. Be aware of the staff if you're a college student because you may have some confrontation coming you're way. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. Other than that, I hope y'all have fun if you chose this course, you'll sometimes need it.

This park is open day and night for visitors. There is an eternal flame that burns continuously. I like the concept and think it is great way to show children about men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice. The entire park is illuminated at night. The fountain runs all the time and is lit with colored lights. My only complaint is that they do not allow any pets. NO PETS! I would love to take my dog here, we need a dog park.

Though, it was off the island, this was still a nice place to visit. I believe this was in Bluffton. The owner was extremely nice and explained to us that the location was recently purchased by him and his wife. He is a retired military guy (thank you for your service) and is doing this for fun now (to keep occupied). He and his wife do competitive axe throwing now and was showing us various techniques of throwing the axes. When it was our turn to throw the axes, the owner showed us the proper way to throw the axe. Take the axe over your head. Hold the axe in your primary hand and wrap your non dominant hand over the dominant hand. have your dominant foot forward. with 2 steps, release the axe when in the middle of the 2nd step. surprisingly, this was easier than expected. Each one of the members in my party was able to hit the bullseye after a few tries. The competition aspect of the game made it more fun, scoring and playing against each other. With the facility. The night we went was not that busy, but it looks like they have an area for live music to be played. They also have a small 'wine / beer' bar where they served basic alcohol. It was definitely nice that they didn't 'nickel and dime' you when the hour came up. they let us finish our games without charging extra for the overflowing into the next hour. (we finished up 10 minutes after the next hour started) Overall, this was such a fun way to kill some time. Highly recommend this location and look forward to doing this again in the future.

We stayed on the premises as well, and it was so fun to be in close proximity to many of our guests for the whole weekend and not just one day. - Megan Szucs (event planner) is a total professional who was so patient and helpful during the planning process and completely prepared and present on the day of our wedding. - Chef John Soulia and his team are incredible. We're picky eaters but did not want to be "that couple" that changes everything on the chef's menu; so we ultimately trusted that we'd chosen the right place with the right chef. Long story short we could NOT have been more correct. We ordered from the wedding menu, and everything was executed beautifully and perfectly across the board - like this is not your average "wedding food". They listened to questions, suggestions, and comments during the tasting, and they (with Megan and the concierge staff) met with us several days in advance of our wedding to review. At the end of the day, however, they're really just amazing at doing what they do. You can trust that. - The Berkeley Hall staff in general is unreal. It was the Verizon and now it is the RBC (2 years ago). To gain a spot on the RBC, The Players Amateur was played at Belfair and was recently moved to Berekley Hall. 2012 tournament is scheduled on July 9th-15th. As with typical courses, Fazio's, well protected and undulated greens are so very difficult, being on the wrong tier will cost you dearly. If my memory serves, there was 140+ bunkers are on the back 9 and close to 60 on the front. Scenery on the marsh end is beautiful, homes along the course are so well kept. From the North tips: the couse plays 7131 with a 75.1 course rating and a 144 slope Inside the club house has 6 dining ares.
