I visited the Clarendon Vape shop on December 29th at around 11am. A clerk, a middle-aged, tall Caucasian man, "assisted" me. After explaining what I needed, the clerk did not know that a vape coil is also known as atomizer. Whether he felt offended when I said that it was ok and I could look for it elsewhere, but the clerk then, entirely unprovoked, told me to get the f-ck out of the store as I did not know what I wanted. He said it while other shoppers were in the store. I have never written a negative review before. But this behavior exceeds every reasonable expectation from a worker in a first-world country. Thought to stop in to ask if this location stocked FX CBD Overnight Recovery Balm as I have gotten it from their other location many times over the past year. Getting it from this location is ideal since I work blocks away. I walked into the business and was greeted stalely by the younger of the two as both came from the rear of the business. I told the young guy what I was looking for, the reply was very stale, stand-offish, and not inviting. At that time, I decided I would not spend my money in this place. Came here yesterday after I was blown off by Burn & Brew. Was looking for a specific kind of cigar called and called up B&B. The lady tells me they have it I drive 2 hours to find out they don't. Luckily this place was near by I called and the gentlemen made sure they had it and sure enough a full box of it. Was happy with the service in and out in 5 mins. Went and bought this from this store. (Side note: The people working there are very nice, and not at all at fault for the inferior brittle glass that's sold there and terrible return policies the store owner for some reason has enacted.) got home, placed the slider piece into the female pice and when I went to remove it *Ding!* it came right off along with the slider piece attached! I called right back and mentioned I would be coming back the next day to exchange it and they said ok. I came back the next day and told me that the $100 faulty piece of crap they just sold me is not returnable because I left the store with it. It's clearly a defective product and they decided to take my money and not make it right. I tried to show them and they almost made me feel criminal for bringing a piece back into the store like as if it had any residue or anything. It was still brand freaking new. If you boy vape crap they seem to have good stuff I do t k ow but if it's anything like the water pipes and bongs they sell I would steer clear of this place. I went a little distance across the bridge into Georgetown and went to the DC glass gallery and it was amazing. I even got a free gift of Cannabis! At first impression this location was good, clean shop with a large selection. However the interactions I had with staff members was deplorable. I only needed a standard battery, however the sales associate wanted me to buy a more expensive version. After politely declining, he handed me a standard battery, I tried to test the button (after following turn on instructions) and nothing happened. The same sales associate assured me thats normal and it would work when screwed on. When I tried again at home, the same thing happened no power at all. I promptly returned to the store (with proper receipt) and the same associate refused to help me with the defective battery. And acting even more unprofessional gave me a curt and aggressive "All sales are final, buy another buddy" Needless to say I won't be returning, there are many other shops in the area that don't shame their customers. read more

I've gone to this shop a couple times without any issues. However I went in 7/29/2019 looking for a replacement for my ONVS Juul compatible vape. I was told they no longer were carrying that brand (not selling) and was recommended to try the SQRL, which is also Juul Compatible. I tried the SQRL and literally it will only hit for two hits and that's it. An associate even tried it and it didn't work. I was told there is NO EXCHANGE, NO REFUND, NO store credit for defective devices. The crazier thing is, they do have a sign which is strategically placed in a corner where you DONT check out or even go to!!! I can't patronize a place that will sell defective equipment with NO REMEDY for the customer besides contacting the manufacturer who may or may not have a warranty for defective equipment. So if you visit this establishment, BEWARE that if you purchase something that is defective, you WILL not get a refund or even an exchange for something that does work. I am highly disappointed in the way they handle their business and I will not be recommending them in the future. read more

Staff was nice but I bought an ooze pen and it did not work. As soon as I left the shop I tried it and even charged it and nothing. The light won't even turn on & i can't use the ooze warranty cause they don't provide the original code which makes me think the products are fake. The worker didn't even try to test the battery to see if it worked and just sold it to me. The worst thing is that they don't allow any returns so I paid $17 for an ooze battery that wasn't even working. The least they could do is check if the batteries work before putting them for display. read more

On 4/29/19, I wanted some Juul pods. I regularly purchase pods or salt juice. The service associate was more ass-ociate than service. He walked slowly down the counter looking down, not even making eye contact. I am greeted with a snarky "How can I help you?" as if he wasn't happy. I asked if they had mint pods, and he responded with a contrite "Yep." I politely asked for a box and proceeded to the checkout. Not a single word except "Do you want your receipt?"
