This is a nice little coffee shop right outside of the base and on the main road. There's a few parking spots right in front. We visited this place on a Monday morning, about an hour before their closing time, so they didn't have all of their usual pastries still in stock, but what we did have was still good. There are some menu items written on the wall when you walk in but we found it easier to just use the printed menus. My kid is pretty picky so she was able to special order a plain sausage sandwich on the cheddar bacon biscuit. I got the keto breakfast stack and a skinny vanilla latte. We decided to eat in so we sat at the tables in the back. They have a big selection of books and board games that let the kids occupied while we waited. The food was good and the employees were friendly, we will definitely visit again, but earlier in the day, so we can try more stuff.

I went here on a Sunday morning looking for a good matcha. There was many people here but I did see there was a back area for people to sit down and do work so it's possible there were people in the back. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, a matcha with some flavored syrup , and a cheese bacon biscuit. Now the cookie tasted very frozen like , i was hoping for more of a homemade taste but it tasted like something I would get from a 711. The matcha was pretty good I believe I tried a syrup recommended by the cashier and it was a decent pick. The cheese biscuit was given to someone else but it wasn't good to their liking. I am a huge fan of pastries with my drinks so that is the main reason for the 3 stars but overall I may try it again if I happen to pass by it.

Definitely a Hidden gem in the southern Maryland area. Since moving to the small town of Indianhead, I frequent this establishment quite often. The staff is always friendly, and I truly love trying out the "mystery lattes ". The owner is absolutely amazing, and is most helpful.

Found this hidden black, women and veteran owned cafe on Yelp and must say Yelp didn't disappoint as usual. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and The ladies working were great. Friendly, provided great service and knowledgeable about the menu. There is a really cute sitting area in the rear which I sat for an hour to get some work done. While sitting the barista offered me a freshly made scone and it was delicious. I ordered the mystery latte and breakfast sandwich which were both delicious as well. I definitely recommend and will return.

Clarity Coffee House is the hidden gem in Charles County. It is right before you get to the base. The customer service is amazing. They greet you upon entrance, they listen to you for your desired order and even make suggestions. Today i got the Skinny Vanilla Latte and it was flavorful and the perfect temperature. Thank you ladies who were on morning duty today 1/15/2023... PS they do have a small sitting area inside.

There's nothing better than a small town café with hot and delicious beverages and a wide selection of homemade pastries. The staff is always exceptional and knowledgeable with their barista skills. I recommend the latte of the day, which is a concoction beautifully collaborated by the barista. This place never disappoints.

Today was our first visit but it definitely won't be our last! My husband and I decided to try out Clarity Coffee House on the recommendation of friends who had just visited there. We dined on a croissant sandwich and a chicken wrap panini. Kate was our barista and she was so helpful in explaining the standard menu as well as the other daily options. The London Fog tea was brewed at the perfect temperature and the lavender taste was so relaxing. Thank you Kate and Alex for a wonderful first experience. Looking forward to our next visit !

I've seen this place a couple times and figured I'd give it a try. I will assume that my not so great experience was due to the fact that I came about 25 mins before close. The lady at the counter informed me that they turn off their panini press 30 mins before closing to let it cool down. I ordered the cinnamon roll frappe, she told me it was the sweetest. Now I'm not sure if she was just saying that or if it was because the other person who actually made it seemed new and maybe didn't make it right. It wasn't very sweet and I didn't get cinnamon roll from this . My son ordered the vanilla mocha frappe decaf and he enjoyed it. My daughter also tried the mango smoothie and she liked that. The lady told me they could do the biscuits or wraps (I think) because it didn't require the panini press. I got the bacon cheddar biscuit, which was microwaved. I did not expect that, not a fan of microwaved bread products, the taste was good otherwise. My son ordered a panini, we were going to take it home to warm it but he was hungry and asked to microwave it. Honestly think she left it in there way too long but he said the taste of it was good just soggy bread. I saw they have bakery items but they had already been pulled from the case. The little shop is nice though and they had games and books in the back where the seating area is. I'd give it another try, earlier in the day to get the full experience because there was a salmon panini that sounded very good.

Nice, quaint coffee shop. The back patio is also great and plenty of sun coverage so it doesn't get too warm. There are also plenty of tables inside, and they even have board games!

Very homey, quaint coffee shop in Indian Head area. Good customer service and many drink offerings--hot and cold, with and without coffee. They also have a menu of items to eat as well. A few breakfast items, lunch items and snacks/desserts. For my first time visiting I tried the seasonal spiced latte which was ok. I much preferred the Snickerdoodle latte ordered by my breakfast companion. Sampled a bit of the baklava and it was great. The star for me was the biscuit sandwich. Advertised as a cheddar bacon biscuit with egg, I wasn't expecting cheese, but the (cheddar?) was a nice addition. The egg was prepared omelette style with the whites and yolk completely mixed together. FYI the biscuit is huge! About the size of my hand. There's not much space to eat in the front of the cafe, but there's a seating area in the back with board games, along with a patio area for warmer months. No matter where you seat you're bound to be surrounded by refreshing, natural night.

Although I failed to take more pictures I tried their gourmet grilled cheese with bacon and the turkey panini and it was yummy! All tried their dirty chai and it was good ;-)

While the…read morecafe itself is small and cute, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The Service: When we walked in, we stood at the host stand for a while without being acknowledged. Eventually, we just walked up to the cashier. Since it was our first time, we were clearly a bit lost, but there was no "hello" or "welcome" the cashier just handed us menus and told us to order at the counter. The lack of communication made the atmosphere feel a bit unwelcoming. The Price & Value: The bad part of the experience was the checkout process. The lowest tip option on the screen was 25%, with the highest being 32%. For a place where you order at the counter and receive minimal service, that felt very steep. I ordered the Barrio Breakfast and an horchata, though I was confused as to why I was charged for a more expensive "iced horchata latte" instead. My boyfriend got a bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread and a bottled Coke. Our total came out to nearly $60. The Food: To be fair, the food was actually very tasty and we had no complaints about the quality. However, in this economy, it's hard to justify the price for what is essentially a meal you could make at home for a fraction of the cost. Overall: It's worth trying once if you're curious, but because of the high prices and the awkward service, I don't think we'll be regulars. I only took a photo of my horchata since I forgot to take a photo of the meal.

It's not what I expected - it was heavier than fries and not the taste I go for. I'm not a house potato person. I enjoyed the fruit cup very much. The WiFi was great. The jazz music was the perfect choice for the coffee shop and it made my day. Go, enjoy

I hate Starbucks as much as the next ALX millennial stay-at-home dog mom DINK, but the ONE thing I applaud is 100% confirmation on whether the customer would like their pastry warmed. Why Del Ray and Old Town coffeeshops don't consistently ask this is a head scratcher. Of all my regular haunts, only Buzz's Bakery gets this right.
