My fiance and I stopped by today to pick up our marriage license, and I couldn't believe the hospitality and kindness that was provided at the Bureau. We pre-registered online and only had to wait about a few minutes in line before getting called up. We had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Lynn Marie, who was so sweet and so funny. She made the process unbelievably easy and quick. At the end, we were able to take a selfie at their little kiosk! They also had some cute art fixtures outside to take some pictures too. The place wasn't hard to find. Parking might be a little tricky either park at the curve or the garage parking from the side. Got in during the weekend there's no line, got called right up to the window the lady assisted us was very nice. She explained everything made us fill out some papers asked for our ID made us raised our right hand then sign then you pick the style you want will explain to you what you need to do with it. God help you if you need to deal with the clerk's corrections department! I usually don't leave reviews, but I just got off the phone again with the Clerk's department in Clark County, and I am absolutely speechless. The very nice lady who answered the phone and transferred me to leave a message for the corrections department was unable to say if the employees for that department would be in tomorrow or the day after. Furthermore, no one from that department was in today. I emailed them several weeks ago with my request for a simple correction on the marriage certificate, and I've been told that it is a lengthy process. If the employees working in this department had regular weekly work hours, they could shorten the process and reduce customers' stress and frustration. read more

I don't know if we were lucky or not but we came in around 445PM on a Friday night and were out the door by 500PM. I really prepped myself to wait in a long line, brought water and comfortable shoes. Nope, didn't need that. We're not so bright and entered the building at the courthouse. The entrance is literally a big sign that says "marriage license bureau" on the corner of Clark and 3rd. You cannot miss it, but we did. Thankfully, security has probably seen this a lot and told us where to go. I was also worried about parking but we did get a metered spot right in front of the back courthouse section and it was an easy walk over. By the time we left, almost all the spots were available. The place is small and I can see why there are lines that go outside sometimes. But it's fairly efficient with a security guard at front to guide you (we happened to enter when he wasn't there so we just walked in) and loud speakers to tell you which station is free next. The person who helped us with our license was very nice and made sure we understood how it all goes down at the wedding. I wish I got a picture of him but I didn't want to ask. Came here on a weeknight with the fiancé. Was able to find free street parking a block away. Security greeted us at the door. Line was short and there were multiple windows open so we were at the front in no time. *heavy breathing begins* Teller could definitely tell I was nervous but guided us through everything step by step in layman's terms. He first had us present our IDs then asked us what last name we wanted to go with. He took all our info off the IDs and had us confirm the mailing address where the license will be delivered too. The entire process probably took about 10-15 mins. We paid $102 in total for the registration process. Make sure to bring cash if you wanna avoid the extra credit/debit card fee! After we were done, of course we had to snag some photos by the giant red heart right outside. Way easier process than I had anticipated, no wonder it's the marriage capital of the world. Getting the marriage license was a breeze. We went on a Tuesday morning around 8am. We parked across the street in the public garage ($5 for 15 mins). There was no line. We filled out the application online so we were helped right away. They have computers available for you to use so you can fill it out. We provided our IDs, signed some documents and had to say an oath. The oath was so random and legal, I almost felt like the person who was helping us married us. Lol. I even asked "wait are we married now?" We all had a chuckle. We got to chose a festive template for our temp document. They also gave us a "We got married in Las Vegas. Got our marriage license 2 days before our wedding ceremony. We went around 8:45pm and it was probably the best time we could have gone. It was so empty only 2 other couples so we were in and out quickly. They do have you do the application online prior to going so make sure to do that first. Then you go in and bring the documents called for which for us was only our Id's. Then they had us check everything was correct and sent us with our packet to give the officiant. After that the officiant has 10 days to submit your forms. You can order them online as soon as they come available and then it takes up to 3 weeks to receive if you're within the county. From what I've been told the process here is a lot easier than other places so if you are looking to get married in Vegas it's pretty simple. read more

You MUST register online ahead of time - there's free wifi, so you can complete this while you wait in line if needed. The form asks for both parties' parents names (first and last) and birthplace, so make sure you have that info ahead of time just in case. Once we arrived, the line was slow but steady. Staff were polite and efficient. Festive atmosphere here for people excited to get married. At first glance, there are quite a few homeless people around the side but there is a lady in the front that seems to be a security or an employee watching everyone as they exit their cars for safety. The process moves along quickly because there are kiosk all over the office for couples to input their information before stepping in line! I seen that marriage certificates cost $102. I was there to turn in my notary bond, receive a filling notice and take my oath. The lady named Rebecca helped me and explained everything very well. My partner and I are getting married today at 3:30pm, so we went to the Clark County Marriage Bureau yesterday to get our marriage license. It was a very simple and quick procedure -- fill out an application on one of the computers, then go up to a clerk to pay for your license (although filling out the application was a bit annoying due to the software, hence the 4 stars). There were several couples filling out applications when we arrived (all the brides in white wedding dresses), but there was no line up, and we were in an out within half an hour. Luckily there really wasn't a line to wait in so the whole process from filling out the application to waiting in line for the marriage license was under 30min. It was pretty quick. Marriage license is good for up to 1 year. And cost is about $106 if paying with debit card. After you file for marriage license they give you 3 documents to give to your officiant when you get married. Your officiant has up to 10 days to turn in the documents. After it has been turned in. While you CAN get married 24/7 in Vegas, what they don't show you is that unless you have stopped by this place - your not getting married. Yes- its true. You cannot win big ( or lose it all ) then run to the nearest drive-thru chapel to get hitched. You must get your marriage licence first, and this is where you get it. Fortunately, they are open until midnight! Located downtown. Just blocks away from Fremont Street. When i got married last summer, I ended up here not once, but twice. I had filled the paperwork out online beforehand, and presented our ID to the clerk. Then quickly completed the process. There are no blood tests required, and yes you can get married in Clark County if you are from another country. Just don't lose any of your paperwork. Or don't let your fiance who has had a few drinks, and is buzzing along nicely, write all over the back of any of the forms. This will earn you yet another trip back to repeat the above process. And yes, pay for the paperwork once again. Also, if you are running late, and arrive just before midnight, be sure to follow the ropes to the front counter. DO NOT cut in the empty line up! The stern security officer WILL make you go to the back, and start all over again as he threatens to kick you out and make you come back in the morning ! You also may not drink your open bottle of pre celebratory champagne! This must be left outside. Don't worry ! Yes ! He is not this only one who works here that is in such a pleasant mood! The clerks who helped us both times did not crack a smile nor did they have a sense of humour. Oh well ! And the staff was very friendly to us. You can apply for a marriage certificate right there in the bureau! And you can get it issued to get married that day. Ahh, the beauty of Vegas! We had applied for our certificate online prior to arrival, and the process was quick and easy for us. When we arrived at the bureau we had to wait in a short line, but it didn't take long. The clerks were efficient and friendly. We were given everything we needed without issue and we were able to be married two days later.
