I needed to get back on the road to South Carolina the next morning, so I was extremely stressed. I contacted Brothers Mobile Tire Service & Tire Shop, and they were very helpful by giving me Mr. Robert's phone number. When I called him, he told me to come straight to his location. As soon as I arrived, he quickly diagnosed the issue and immediately started calling around to find the necessary part. What truly meant the most was the kindness shown by his family. They personally drove my family and me back to our hotel while the car was being repaired. This was a huge blessing because we had a family of five and Uber could only accommodate four passengers. At first, I thought the car wouldn't be ready until the next morning, but Mr. Robert called me shortly after and said he already had the part removed and would have the car ready that same night. Less than three hours later, he was on his way to deliver my vehicle back to me. When I got in the car, it drove like new again. Mr. Robert was truly a blessing to my family. He worked faster than any shop I've ever dealt with and went above and beyond to help us in a stressful situation. If you need any vehicle services in the area, Mr. Robert is definitely the person to call for fast, reliable, and excellent service.

My friends noticed a flapping sound underneath the car because a piece had not been secured. The Firestone shop in Jackson found my tires were not aligned and were wearing so severely because of this they could have exploded on Interstate 40. I had to pay for a full realignment and two new tires in Jackson, to the tune of $900+. I had only had these tires for 18 months, installed in 2024 at Costco. I have not received any reimbursement from Caliber or from Steve's after this faulty work could have cost my friends and I our lives.

They told me that there was a screw in the tire was too close to the sidewall and I would need a new tire. I asked them about this, saying it didn't look very close to side!!! But the sales guy insisted that it was too close, and that I would need a new tire. Then he told me it would be better to get a pair of tires. At this point, I decided to go to Gateway, as I simply did not trust this guy. So, I go to GATEWAY, tell them that there is something wrong with my tire, and it takes them about 15 mins to get to my car. I started playing with my phone for a few mins, and then I look up and my car is gone!!! I go up to the counter, and the guy hands me the keys and says, we found a nail, patched it, and it is ready to go. No charge, we appreciate your business! WOW! I almost got taken for $450 dollars at a competitor, and this place says NO CHARGE! I am a customer for life! I really would give a little higher rating, but it would only be for the repair work and that's all. I've been a faithful customer for many years. I was referred to Thong's and instructed to only negotiate with Thong himself and never with his wife. So, I would get an outside diagnosis of my vehicles before taking them to Thong's. I would then call Thong and he would give me a price for the labor only, and I would then pick up the parts myself. I would save money because a lot of repair shops add a mark-up or additional profit, when they furnish or buy the parts for you. Also, the labor cost negotiated with Thong was already cheaper than most places in town. Like a lot of other customer reviews, I've read, people including me, have just put up with Mrs. Thong, because the price and work was very good. However, it wears you down after a while and you just get tired of dealing with this lady. She is rude, she tries to charge more than you negotiated with Thong himself, she will try to argue with you at times, she believes she's smarter that most, and never wrong about anything. So, I've finally decided to pay a little more and take my business elsewhere. Thong should really deal with his wife and send her home and get someone else to run the office.
