Stopped in for a walk-in cut after 1PM. I understand there is another location. This might be the smaller location then. Not seeing the cigar leather chairs nor the chess table I saw in the pics at all except for the one barber chair for the owner at the front and to the left. Pablo is cutting my husband's hair today, he would be rolling in here shortly. He rolled in after lunch, since he dabbed the corner of his mouth with a napkin. Done with the cut 40 minutes later. There are beauty lights at every chair to make sure you are IG ready. I found the Germ-X sanitizer bottle. I for some random reason put it into the front bottom zipper area. Pablo is a conversationalist, engaging in a chat during my husband's cut. The cut was a bit short in the front and top, but hopefully it will grow back and be long enough for the hair of my husband prefers combing back his hair. Pablo did some checks through his hair cut, blew it out dry after the cut and then combed out the loose hairs afterwards too. He's through. A good cut overall. A standard haircut is $38. read more

I went here for a cut as I was in town on vacation. PRO'S: The fade I got was exceptional. One of the best I've ever received. CON'S: I was charged $48 for a normal fade because it was a "signature cut". They didn't even touch the top... Overall, I would not go here because $48 for a men's haircut is RIDICULOUS. read more

Was back in town on vacation and wanted to stop in and get fixed up. Clark's seems to be expanding and adding a lot of services to an already robust menu. I booked online for Joe and the booking went smooth. I got there and was greeted as soon as I walked in. New faces but same personal feel. Joe talked to me about what I wanted and suggested some things based on hair type and length and then went to work. Once again I was not disappointed. Joe is meticulous and experienced. His attention to detail really gives you a polished look when complete that is hard to find anywhere else. Don't go here unless you want your time wasted. They spend more time chatting with non customers and looking at their phones every 5 minutes. We were barely greeted when we walked through the door so after a long wait I wanted to make sure we were checked in. After I mentioned the wait might not be as long if he focused more on cutting hair and less on talking the lady said "well you know men don't take cutting hair as seriously as women do." I wanted to start off by saying I was so disappointed by how great the service was. Who makes their clients so comfortable and enjoy their experience?? Miss Grace was working on my hair. It was awful. She had the nerve to be very thorough and explained everything to me I needed to be prepared for as far as length of the process and such. She made so comfortable and made sure I was okay the entire time!! Who does that? I got my hair colored and it's upsetting how great it turned out. She made me feel absolutely beautiful. My husband and the boys have been going to Jose for a long time and traveled with him through the different barber shops. His work is great and the boys always come back looking fantastic, however the biggest issue I have is Jose has a tendency to cancel or over book himself causing a back up in our schedule or a complete change. Went in for a $30 express haircut. Waited 38 minutes PAST my appointment time for a 20 minute haircut with Heather. Never received the straight razor edge or rinse that is advertised with the express haircut. Haircut was mediocre. Asked for mid skin, she never went below a 1 guard. Blend wasn't very good, she left quite a few long pieces sticking out. I literally could have received the exact same service and cut at great clips for less than half the price. To be honest, I just feel ripped off that the services advertised weren't done. I want my razor edge up and rinse! $35 with tip, really? I live in Cinco Bayou so I make it a point to support businesses within the town. ( I realize the location says 'Fort Walton Beach, but this business is actually located in the Town of Cinco Bayou) I have been to Clark's four times. Twice to observe and twice for service. The concept is great. Nice environment. Clean shop. Skilled staff. Central location. App to manage appointments and select services. Overall a good establishment. I think there are opportunities for improvements. The app is the suggested method to schedule appointments. It's extremely convenient. My concern is the availability of appointments listed isn't always correct. On my first visit after making an appointment through the app also paying with this method, I was met with surprise when arrived at my appointment time. Needless to say, this made me feel a bit uneasy. Everything was straightened out and my appointment went well. I also chose a particular service on the app, but had to remind José what service I scheduled. If there are choices to be made through the app for services, it would be much better if those choices were known by the respective Barber when the client arrives. José seems to be the most skillful at beard sculpting. Holly is nice but needs to improve in the sculpting of beards. I think I'll continue to use this shop. The staff is fairly nice. I've been going to clarks for a while now and I've noticed alot has changed. The hair and beard cut remains excellent but, if I was the owner I would tighten up my employees. I have notice no one that is working there greets a customer when they walk in or let them know they will be right with them. I go there every week for my appointment and two weeks ago I walked in and sat there for 30 minutes. No one said anything to me, no "hello", not a single word so I just sat there and come to find out my barber wasn't even there that day. It would have taken any barber 20 seconds of there time instead of 30 minutes of my time to let me know that my barber isn't there and canceled all appointments for that day. It feels very unwelcoming at Clarks now. One time I've walked out of Clarks and seen three barbers that work there smoking weed on the side of the building. Like, just chillen smoking a blunt outside the shop for everyone to see. Also ill be sitting in the chair and I can smell marijuana on the barbers hands while I'm getting a haircut. The gossip is terrible up there. How they talk about there clients after they walk out and have paid them for a expensive haircut is very unprofessional. The walk-ins get talked about rudely after they leave as well. It's just very unprofessional to see Keith and Maya act like that to people that are willing to pay top price for a hair cut. Maya is the rudest person up there. She's sharp, disrespectful, and a smart-ass. I've called up there several times and had to deal with her shitty attitude. She needs to be reminded how to speak to people correctly weather they are putting money in her pockets or not, thats not how you talk to people. The customer service has really dropped up there and I hope it will be better in 2022. For the amount of money you expect people to pay for a haircut and beard trim for that kind of service absolutely ridiculous! He definitely puts the master in master barber . This place is a little pricey, but you get more than just the barbershop experience. They are pricey. I am from San Diego, and on Coronado Island you can find a barber that cuts hair equally as good for $10-20, easy (for an adult male). For a children's cut here it was $24. I just want to fore warn anyone else. My fault. I should have asked for the pricing, but because of various previous experiences I did not think it would be more than $15. They can benefit from being more personable too. read more
