Fairly recently remodeled - larger than Blue Mountain Foods in Monticello. Probably around the size of Honey's in Moab? Prices are within 10-20c of Blue Mountain Foods most of the time, sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive. Less discounts on fresh food, but some great sales in the store when we were there - 2lb blocks of Tillamook for $8. Wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised - this isn't like the dire grocery store in Escalante etc. read more

Well stocked grocery for a small town. Lots of food and grocery options as well as a deli with hot foods. There's a surprising amount of prepared foods and sandwiches. The service was quick and they a good number of counters. I also tried the place in Monticello and this was definitely nicer. Would recommend if you're in a 30 mile radius. read more

Was able to mostly find what i needed. Was thankful for a little grocery store out in the middle of what felt like nowhere. Was able to find salad, fruit and hummus and also protein bar i was looking for. Store was clean and easy to find/locate items. Service was okay. No one struck me as overly friendly or helpful. read more

An oasis in the desert. I found this market by accident, looking for a place to get a bite to eat. It is very nicely merchandised and has a deli section. I was impressed with how clean and well lit the store is. It was a pleasure to walk through and shop in. It also had a much larger inventory of items than I was expecting. THIS STORE IS A SCAM - expired products and fake sales. In short, they raise prices and put a sales tag on it. Keep reading for real-life examples. The only reason anyone would ever come here is because it's the only grocery store in town with "fresh" produce. And "fresh" is in quotation marks because there's no quality control, they have no problem with stocking the shelves with expired products. I've seen rotten potatoes, rotting/moldy corn, fuzzy strawberries, soggy broccoli and other vegetables way past expiration. even their soda has been expired. They also scam customers with their "sales". They will raise the price, put a sale price tag on it and claim you're saving X dollars while the sale price is actually higher than it was before the sale. For example - this week, burger buns for almost 4 dollars, claiming you save $0.60. Last week the same brand buns were $2.99 without a sale. 5lb box of ground beef patties was $18.99 on sale. Next week, same box cost $24.99 with a big CLEARANCE SALE sign on it. This week the same 5lb box of patties are priced at $31.99 claiming you SAVE $9.50, which implies that price without sale would be $41.49. Does this makes sense? Edit: I also forgot to mention that they occasionally fail to apply sales at the register. So enjoy not even getting the advertised sale. They also don't stock the shelves properly. They will often put the wrong product on the wrong shelf, so the price tag will not match the expected product on the shelf. Sometimes there's no price tag at all. read more

On my way to the backcountry of Southern Utah, I made a stop for supplies at Clark's Market in Blanding. I purchased block ice and Shasta sodas (that I can not get at home in Texas). Clark's has a good selection of foods and drinks. They had friendly service, and I got in and out quickly. read more

While traveling in the Southwest, we shopped for food and drinks at Clark's Market in Blanding UT. The store was well stocked and clean. They have a good deli with a nice variety of meats and cheeses. Having visited the store 12 months prior, we made a point of driving a bit out of our way to go there again. read more

This is pretty much the only grocery store in town. It's an acceptable store, but this is October 2020. The state of Utah has one of the highest per capita rates of covid-19 infection in the USA. Our checker was wearing a mask, but she didn't even use it to cover her mouth and nose. No more than half the customers in the store wore masks. If you're traveling here and are able, bring your own groceries purchased at a store where staff and customers wear masks. STAY AWAY from this store until the covid pandemic is gone OR, the state of Utah mandates masks in public and locals comply. read more

I saw the bad review, I was getting ready for credit card. BUT it is not true!! This place is amazing. Diet Pepsi price can bit Costco, 2 bags of chip is $6 which is same price as the grocery store in Austin, TX. I already asked the waiter at the restaurant in Bluff, UT, he said there is no grocery store in Bluff, they come here to shop or drive to Colorado or New Mexico. This place is in the middle of no where, price is still reasonable. I got my fruits for my road trip, sweet deal! I highly recommend this place. read more

If you're into natural foods, finding acceptable groceries can be very difficult in the middle of nowhere. Clark's actually has some good options!!! Dairy free yogurts (Kite Hill!), organic raw sauerkraut, a very limited organic produce section (pretty much only organic apples and salad mixes), Bob's Red Mill mixes (even gluten free), almond and soy milks, organic milk (Horizon), dairy free cheese, Applegate lunch meats. I'd like to see some organic frozen berries and maybe an organic yogurt option, and perhaps a little better organic produce selection, but I was able to do ok for a few staples. Sweet! read more

We stopped at Clark's to restock between larger towns while rv'ing in the area. After reading a couple of reviews I was not sure what to expect...they were so mixed. I feel that for such a rural town and the day after Memorial Day weekend, the store was well stocked and has a good price range. It's the only place within an hour of Bluff. read more

When hungry and passing through small towns, I always first look for signs of a great hole-in-the-wall; and if I don't find one, I look for a grocery store. Clark's has a decent produce section, a deli with hot and cold foods, and a good variety of snack and packaged items for its size. Prices are what you'd expect for a town so far from a major city. I had their cold cheese tortellini salad, with crunchy vegetables and vinegar dressing. It was pretty good! And to me, certainly beats stopping at a fast food chain. read more

It's a small country like grocery store, people are friendly . It's tough writing a review of a grocery store out in the middle of no where. It has everything you need to make yourself a meal. There's a deli and makes hot food and a soft drink/coffee bar. They also have sandwiches that are pre made in advance. There's not a lot here but it gets the job done. read more

This place is a complete rip off! Never have I seen more expensive prices for such little quantity! The only reason they get away with this is because the residents here don't have a choice unless they want to travel all the way to Cortez which is what my family does. Most people here have food stamps so the grocery store knows they can get away with outrageous mark ups and there is no competition. The staff is rude and lazy and sadly underpaid. Any one who has an IQ over 80 will go somewhere else! Avoid this place at all costs! read more

When you live in a small crummy town obviously there is no competition and clarks is no exception. Plan to spend $100 more on your cart due to excessive mark ups on everything! Unfortunately I travel to Cortez and do my grocery shopping there. There's a short raccoon eyed girl who works the box office and she is so rude! She thinks she's better than everyone else well guess what you're in blanding you ain't all that! I just can't get this bad taste out of my mouth that clarks leaves behind anytime I am forced to shop there. Tracie is very nice! So is Nick from the meat department he knows his cuts of meat!
