The Dr was so nice and took her time with me to explain everything. The staff was also super helpful. It was a great experience all around.

Came in for my yearly eye exam. During my exam Dr. Strohmeyer was very kind but failed to explain that one of the tests she was going to do is an extra fee and is not covered by insurance. Was also double charged for a copay. If you don't want surprise extra fees/charges than go somewhere else. Not sure if it's just this location that has issues, but I guess it's your responsibility to ask if everything they are doing is part of the eye exam covered by your insurance. When I told them I was not made aware of the fee and would like it refunded they said they would not give me a refund. Not good business practice. Just go somewhere else and save yourself the headache. read more

i recently went here to get my eyes checked and this was my first time getting a pair of glasses, i have medicaid/medicare and they told me i would have frames that would cover under my insurance. after my appointment i only had TWO little racks of frames that were mainly kids frames, or they were just plain ugly. I had to find different rows to get 60-70% off, and still was only one rack of frames i could chose from. the prices were incredibly overpriced, i also arrived there 20 minutes early to only sit and wait for an hour and 20 minutes to finally get started on my appointment. however, the staff was nice and so was the eye doctor, but the selections were awful and overpriced. i saw frames for almost $700+ and mine were 229.30$ and then i looked them up online to only figure out they were being sold for like 70 something bucks. i am disappointed, and please let people know that if you have medicaid/medicare insurance that it wont cover much. please fix the overpricing, and the absolute amount of time it also takes to get glasses because they told me 16-20 something business days! disappointing. read more

The billing department is a mess. They mess up with insurance payments. You pay and they come back a month later sending an insurance bill. I have been fighting it for a year. Finally paid it because I was tired of the crap. Clarkson is a joke. So overpriced also. read more

Went through sign up process in store and was asked for driver's license and insurance - nothing irregular. Upon return two weeks later for first appointment, driver's license was again requested. When employee was asked if they require license every visit, only at that precise moment an adjacent employee inquired about and insisted customer don a mask. Store does not have any posted mask signs nor did any of three employees mention masks at all during 20-minute sign-up. This is what you call selective discrimination and hate. Most people here were nice. But there was one rude lady at the desk. And it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

This place is awful. The prices are 3 times the price anywhere else. Here is the worst part....they call about ones or twice a week to get you to come back in after a year. For someone that works nights this is unfortunate. I have flocked their number and then a couple weeks they call from a different number. I have asked to be removed from the list by calling the corporate office and I am still getting calls! read more

Always great service. Always great & knowledgeable doctors. My prescriptions are hard to get right because I have had a lot of cornea problems, but they do it every time. They take their time, ask questions, understand my issues and I trust them completely. I have been their client since they first opened their doors and had Kathy Reynolds. I went to this location because they had excellent reviews. The doc that did my exam was filling in while the regular doc was on vaca. She was very nice and did a great job. I had called previous to my apt to double check with my insurance to make sure I knew my coverage. I still had to pick from the "economy" frames, as the prices on the frames seem fairly high. When I sat down with my selection the eye tech informed me that I owed x amount. I told her that was absolutely NOT what my insurance had quoted me. She then told me that insurance always says one thing and does another. I was so upset I had to remove myself from the front lobby. When I returned I did not order glasses and informed them I was leaving. My insurance contacted them that they were trying to bill me wrong. Not one person contacted me to try to resolve the matter. I feel like I was trying to be scammed. HIGHLY upset and unhappy with this experience. read more

After letting my eyes go 4 years without exams, I came to Dr. Sullivan with multiple issues, the least being needing new glasses. Not only was he detailed in his exam, he got to the root of each problem I was having. His staff is knowledgeable & I felt that I had finally found my "forever" Eyecare place! read more
