Danny gave me the cleanest haircut I've gotten in a long time. Took his time and really paid attention to detail. The shop is clean, awesome music selection and all the guys working there are super friendly. I called at 445 on a Thursday asking for an opening. Really nice guys and good environment. Although I asked for an inch and a half off the front, and to just trim the sides, it feels like I barley have an inch and a half of hair left. I showed pictures for reference and said I only wanted my hair trimmed and cleaned up. It's so much shorter than what I asked for and not the style I was looking for. I have a part in the middle and both sides of hair are different lengths and the back of my hair was chopped so short and it's shaped like a mullet. I'm really not happy with any of it, and was the most expensive haircut I've had to pay for. I really wish there was a way for this could be fixed, unfortunately with hair it can't be, but I wish I never got the cut. read more

First time in this shop. Josh was my barber. I got my haircut and my beard styled. AWESOME. I look good. I have never had anyone take as long and as careful while in the chair. A good 45 minutes. And Josh was so intense looking the clippers do their thing. Everyone there was friendly and it was like one big family having funny discussions which everyone was invited to chime in. My appointment was confirmed for 1:30. I arrived 2 minutes late but there was already someone on the chair. The person in the chair was 1/2 finished with their haircut. I waited 15 minutes before I left & no one approached me the entire time. After I left, the store owner came CHASING after me to my truck to apologize & pay for my next haircut. Three main things wrong with my experience at this "barbershop" 1. I experienced absolutely NO customer service during my wait. They could have offered me any other customer service while I was in the shop to make up for Sergio improperly confirming appointments. 2. I did not accept store owner (Jason) cash. He offered me what looked like $13. I scheduled my appointment for a $30 beard shave & haircut. 3. This barber shop needs to either adjust their attitudes & customer service OR they need to adjust their high prices. I would never in my life pay $30 to wait more than what could have been over 20 minutes. The cost of this shop's services does not reflect other barbershops customer service in the near by areas. I would pay $30 for a decent experience. I cancelled my appointment here. read more

I own a hair salon on the east side of Providence. Rarely do I get my haircut somewhere else, but a friend of mine told me about Matt at Classic Blends to clean up my beard. He did an amazing job and shaped up my sides. I now make a weekly appointment. The Staff is friendly and talented. I'd make an appointment rather than walk in, they always seem busy. read more

What a place! Jay, the owner/operator of this establishment is great at what he does! He's very talented--he is quick and professional performing straightforward cuts like my own (while still giving plenty of individualized attention), and I've seen him do some really difficult/more complicated cuts with ease, and they turn out great. Jay has been my go to man for almost 2 years. He is a great man, he is always willing to listen and work with his customers to help them get the exact style they want.. I felt comfortable with my old style and jay helped me (only because my girlfriend wanted change) find the best style for me.. In short he is a pro at what he does and will not stop until his customer is happy. His prices at extremely reasonable for his exceptional service... There are not many barbers out there like Jay, a diamond in the rough for sure. The Warwick/Providence area is lucky to have this man!!
