We vacation in St Augustine a week or two each year. The past couple of years we've been going to a market here on Sunday but the car museum is closed on Sunday. We've always wanted to come back and visit the museum. This time we did and we were so glad! They have a lot of cool old cars. My favorites were the 1959 Corvette and a '61 jeep truck. Oh, and I hadn't seen a Jeepster like one they had. I highly recommend taking a couple of hours and coming to check out this place! read more

I'd been here before but it'd been a couple of years so was time to stop by again. This car collection never disappoints. From the minute you walk in and are greeted by Vicky at the counter to entering the museum part itself, it's an amazing experience. The entry fee is only $15 and well worth it. The cars, memorabilia are all on point. Beautiful, well cared for classics (and a few newer cars too) bring back memories. Spoke with the owner briefly yesterday as well-small world-found out after the fact that we have a lot of mutual friends. Looking forward to going back-either to just wander around and admire the cars or for cars/coffee and their night time cruise they have as well. It was an afternoon well spent. read more

Very large collection with various classic cars, mostly American. Some are even for sale. Nice building, good pricing. Cars are in wonderful condition, some unique pieces here as well. Good place to get out of the heat and look at some beautiful cars. read more

This was an amazing find! We happened to drive by and my 11 year old son noticed it. They don't do advertising since they are a nonprofit organization. We enjoyed looking at all of the old cars and memorabilia. We spent about 2 hours there checking everything out. It's the perfect find for young and old car lovers! read more

With all the things to do and see in and around St. Augustine it was a unanimous decision when our family visiting from out of town was looking for something different to do. This car museum got a thumbs up from every one in our group only moments after arriving - for the older ones this was definitely a walk down memory lane, for the younger ones it was an experience they'll never forget and somewhat of an education. I think everyone is a car enthusiast in some sense and this beautiful collection provided an opportunity to see some very special production cars up close and personal - I think each of us had our favorites although each of us kept changing our minds as we walked through this museum. One of my favorites was the 1959 El Camino and of course the 1941 Jeep Willys being I'm a Jeep guy but the old Ford Bronco was cool too - the conversations continued after we left this place and headed to dinner, there were lots of "did you see this or did you see that" which shows how everyone takes something different with them long after the tour is over. I can appreciate how difficult it can be to display a collection of this size and still allowing great access while still protecting the investment - the staff and owner does an excellent job providing an amazing experience at a very reasonable admission fee, this is definitely something the entire family can enjoy together... read more

Staff was super friendly and let my kids pick a couple Hot Wheels. The gentleman at the front counter was very knowledgeable and personable. The line-up of cars was impressive. The crown jewel, if you will, was a 1969 Charger Daytona as soon as you walk into the showroom. Being a Mopar guy, that was my favorite. But the showroom was full of cars, several with interesting stories. Definitely worth the visit and the price of admission! read more

Great way to spend an hour or two! My husband and I visited last month, as part of an anniversary trip to St. Augustine. My husband's a car guy, and misses going to the Volo Auto Museum in Volo, IL. If you haven't been and love vintage cars, you need to go. Well, we live in south FL now, and there isn't much around for car lovers. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place in Google search. The atmosphere reminded my husband a lot of the museum in Volo, even though it's a much smaller version. Everyone here is super nice, the owner included. Maybe we'll visit again one day. read more

What a hidden gem this is! So many beautiful cars. A fun way to spend a couple of hours especially if it is raining or hot outside. This is a non-profil organization and the venue has the capacity to hold meetings and events. This is something every car enthusiest should check out. If you're in Saint Augustine you need to stop by this classic car museum they have probably 120 amazing cars starting with the oldest car ever made 140 years ago in France, and it's still runs. They have the biggest selection of vintage Corvettes I've ever seen beautiful model A's and T's. It's run by people who love classic cars and they restore them. He could probably spend a good couple of hours there just nerding out over the amazing cars. A definite must. read more

The amount of knowledge for all vehicles, and the fun stories that go along with them all.....makes it such an experience. I had a mild interest in cars, but took my husband and kids and I fell in love with cars. The beauty and variety of cars is awesome. The cars are not always the same either, so each time you go, you will see something new. I personally dabble in photography and can't wait to go. So I couldn't find this place on yelp and when I inquired when we went inside just because they had only been there for five weeks. There was one person who owns 3/4 of the cars in the museum. Everything from the floors to the Decour was definitely done with style especially consider the antique feel of the cars there. The oldest thing I believe I saw there was a 1919 model T and the newest thing that I saw was a Ford GT. They had a nice display of cars but don't plan on spending more than 45 minutes in here. Great place for any car enthusiast! Touring the museum was so much fun, but other events held here are just as fun. I've been to car club meetings, as well as car shows here, as well. Very clean! Roomy inside as well as outside (for car shows!) Kind of an odd place for a car museum (off the beaten path and out of St. Augustine proper) but worth the drive! Definitely very reasonable entrance fee! Only thing that may make it better... would be a cafe! read more

Really enjoyed our visit! The cars are amazing and we could have happily spent more time there than we did. A highlight for us was getting to meet an owner of some of the cars. It was fun to talk with him and hear more about the cars he loves! The fact that he let my teens each sit in their favorite car made this an experience they will never forget! Thank you so much!! We attended the coffee and donuts with the car club and visited the museum afterwards. They gave my wife and I the senior discount even though we're younger. Very nice museum and they had several unique cars I've only seen photos of before. It compares well with the Volo Museum in Illinois, but not as large. You'll get an extra treat with the coffee and donuts car show to boot. read more

Watched leather interior being replaced, owners and employees very friendly and conversational, and very easy to spend 1-2 hours of enjoyment even for a person who is not really into cars!
