I searched the internet and was going to go to the "big box store" in Maysville as another one is currently closed. I was looking at big dollars and a week to get it delivered and was not sure if I stopped in the store if I could get it that same day and bring it home the same day. I was actually in the lot of the "big box" and I was blessed to do one search for other appliance stores in Maysville and found McRoberts name on line and went to their website and decided to try them. This is a old time furniture and appliance store located in downtown Maysville. I walked in and there was a salesperson with an older woman and he was actually engaging her and listening to what she wanted. He said hello to me as I passed them. Then Zack, my salesperson, saw me and waved and then came over to say hello. He asked me how he could help and I told him what I needed and that I needed to pick it up today. He took me to their selection of washer and dryers that they had in stock. He was very knowledgeable and told me about a brand named Crosley which they have been carrying for 20 years and is made by GE for the market. I purchased the set which came in about $500.00 less than the ones at the box store. As they were confirming my order I was able to see that they have a lot of nice furniture pieces. I followed Zack to there warehouse and the gentlemen loaded them onto my truck and I took them home and installed them. Here are my blessings from the experience: 1. It was a blessing to have someone politely come up to me and not pressure me. 2. It was blessing that I did not have to go searching for someone to help me. I did not have to call the store from inside the store to tell them I was at the counter looking for help. 3. I was blessed that an employee actually knew their products and the benefits 4. I was blessed that the pricing was great 5. I was blessed to pick up both units in stock and get them home and installed the same day. Thank you McRoberts for my purchase. I would recommend them.

I told her I was unsure. Her response was rude and embarrassed me in front of other customers. Apparently, she can afford to drive away potential customers. The town was cute, and being from a small town myself, I really enjoyed the history I was able to take in... which brings me to Blake Pharmacy. This pharmacy has been in the Blake family for many, many years, and while it has many charms that you expect to see in a small town pharmacy such as a soda fountain. RadioShack, friendly people, and regular drug store items. I was told they have added some high-tech automation to serve the customers better. At this point, a few things probably caught your eye...soda fountain and RadioShack. I took a lot of photos. I thought RadioShack had closed but not in an aisle here. We even found a really cool speaker system that is from RadioShack, which is the perfect birthday present. The soda fountain even has some food, and I tried the pimento cheese that is made fresh each morning, and it was very good. They eat it with potato chips, which is strange to me because I would choose crackers, but hey, they also love Skyline Chili, so...um... I'm kidding!! Anyway, if you find yourself in West Union Oh-hi-a (as they say it there), stop in, grab a shake at the sofa fountain, and sit and people watch... then go to the Blake Hallmark Store next door.
