I'm on the road a lot and one of the challenges is getting a good haircut. The folks at Classic Cuts really came through! I went in on my lunch hour and the lady barber was just finishing up another customer and called me over as soon as she'd cleaned up. I sat down and explained I wanted a basic businessman's cut and she got to work. A short time later, I emerged with a nice, balanced cut. And as an extra touch, once they shave your neck, you get a hot towel! If you haven't experienced that, maybe it sounds silly but boy, does it FEEL great! Price was reasonable: $20 for the cut. If you combine other services like shampoo or beard trim, they offer package deals. Couldn't be happier. read more

I would definitely go back again. The gentleman that works here did a very good job on my beard. I would recommend this place to the next man. Must have cash which might be a downfall for some but there is an ATM a block down the road. Which is convenient because if you forget they will allow you to run down the road and get cash and come back. He told me it was $20 for my hair and my beard. But I was very pleased. Tracey did not follow the specifics I asked of her when we were scoping out my hair cut at the beginning. She took too much off the top, and in a spot I deliberately told her not to cut based on the way I style my hair, she chopped it off completely, thinking she was blending my sideburns with the hair on top of my head. She tried styling my hair at the end to cover up things, but it didn't really work, and she also didn't blend my sideburns with my beard like I asked. Wish she would've paid more attention to the directions at the beginning vs telling me about her family and busy week. Now I've got to go to a wedding with a haircut I regret getting. read more

I'm hesitant to write positive review because I would like to have a haircut whenever I want without waiting, but... This place rules. I've lived in Wyoming, Texas & California, and this is my favorite barber. I have never gone to a high-end (re: $$$$) salon or anything, so I'm talking a no frills, quality haircut. They do straight razor neck trims, beard trims, and great haircuts. Good conversation, nice atmosphere, bargain price. I can't recommend highly enough. read more

Place has classic decor with so much potential. The cuts can be either perfect or with errors that shouldn't have been overlooked. When I say 'rounded taper' in the back that means both sides need to be rounded... not just one. Sometimes they forget to shave the hairline in the back perfectly and I have had to clean it up at home because I didn't notice it until my girlfriend checked it for me. One of the gentlemen who work at this establishment thinks it's perfectly acceptable to text and check his phone all while shaving my neckline and talking to other customers. I do not want my barber distracted while holding a straight razor and doing my neckline. Get it together. I'll continue to get my hair cut in Nashville where I work. Sometimes I need a cut and do not want to wait until the next day to go to work but it is what it is. I will not be returning. read more

With past experiences with botched haircuts, I am quite hesitant when it come to trying out new barbershops. So when I discovered that the barber I normally go to while in Bowling Green was out of town for the whole week, I wanted to find the best place possible, especially since I had two very important interviews coming up. But this place was incredible. Yes, the set up is nice and the atmosphere is that of a classic barber shop, but it was the people that stood out most to me. By simply sitting in the shop for 10 minutes I realized that most of the customers there were regulars and had good relationships with the barbers. Drake, the barber who cut my hair, genuinely cared about me as a person and wanted to get to know me. He was authentic, open, and our conversation was delightful. He gave me encouragement and even trusted me to run out of the shop to get some cash in order to pay him. On top of a marvelous haircut at an amazing price, you can't beat this place with a stick. If I lived in Bowling Green, I would not go to another barber. read more
