Terry, Elliott, and Ben are so nice to work with & always go the extra mile to make certain you get what you are looking for. I don't like being "hounded" when I am shopping so it has been pleasant to browse when I go there to pick out furniture & not have someone constantly on my heels trying desperately to make the sale. They promptly greet me when I enter the store, offer their help, & then let me browse at my leisure, checking in from time to time to see if I have questions or need additional help. I think that their price point is excellent & they offer a variety of quality furniture. The hardware portion of the store is nice as well; I just have not had needs in that portion of the store. (I will say that they offer a very tasty Raspberry Jalapeño natural jam that has just enough "kick" to excite my taste buds!!) So do yourself a favor & head over to Pine Level to spend some time with all the friendly folks at this unique establishment!! I am sure you will be able to find whatever you need on site or they will work up an order to see that you get it as soon as possible. And don't forget the jam!!!

YOU BETTER GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING OR YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!!…read more I had been buying mulch etc from D&J Sand and Gravel for several years. I felt like I knew johnny. The prices were high but figured it was what it took to deliver such things. I sold my house and as soon as the contract was signed it rained like never before. I had water under the house and johnny said he would put in a french drain and add dirt and grade for less than $15,000. I ask him to get me a price in writing and get started. I was under pressure to make the closing three weeks later. johnny said he would get the written estimate to me but always had an excuse for not producing the estimate every time I saw him. I kept asking every time I saw him and got nothing. My wife kept telling me she was nervous and johnny could really stick it to us if I was not careful. I told her "don't worry honey, johnny is a Christian and we know him - he is not going to do us wrong" This is my biggest regret - I trusted crooked "christian" johnny more than my wife's instincts and judgement. That won't ever happen again!! His crew did the job in around 7 days total - during that time johnny would show up every couple of days and said "don't worry, I'll do you right" Well he sure did - I got a bill for (are you ready?) $37,213 One of his workers damaged the siding on my house and johnny said he would pay for it - just before he sent me his bill he asked me to send that invoice to him since I had to have a vendor repair that mistake. He took that off the top of his outrageous invoice making the final price $36,713.20 As you can imagine I almost passed out when I saw that and called to confirm it was not a mistake to which johnny replied "well it was wet out there" I was now in a position where the closing on my house was affected and I felt like this invoice was an unarmed robbery Since johnny knew I was selling my house I guess he figured he would take a nice bite out of the equity. I called two independent "HONEST" companies to come quote the exact same work - showing them the areas where the work was done and telling them to include adding dirt and grading in their quote. Basically quoting the exact same things his crooked company did. Quote #1 was $17,500 and quote #2 was $18,700 - this was work being done by companies from towns that surrounded Goldsboro - johnny had his operation about five miles from my house I called johnny and told him I would give him $18,000 cash (cash changes everything for a crook) He dickered and we finally ended up settling at $25,000 Crooked "christian" johnny pulled a fast one on me - don't believe his con job of being a christian and trust him - even if you think you know him As for the work his crew did - you won't find a more professional, polite, hardworking and honest group of people. They actually demonstrate Christian beliefs and actions but don't continuously tell you what a great Christian they are. The job they did was outstanding. Buyer beware - IF JOHNNY BRINGS YOU A TEASPOON OF SAND - GET IT IN WRITING OR YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!!!! Other reviews have also commented on how johnny brings God and Christianity into his business dealings and just like me - he has tried to stick it to them - showing that his words don't match his actions Bottom line - he can't be trusted - simple as that

They protected the windows and shrubbery from the old roof materials that were thrown down. My complaints: I was told they would charge me $75 per sheet of plywood that needed to be replaced. Interestingly, they bought 3 pieces of heavy-duty plywood (which does cost that much) and 5 pieces of lower-quality pressed board plywood (in which a substantially lower price would have been charged.) When I questioned the female employee who came after the crew left why that price for the low-grade quality plywood, her answer (and I kid you not!) was "for labor and clean up). Hmmm. Those costs were included in the estimate. Okay. The crew was ALSO SUPPOSED to go around my home with a large magnet roller to search for metal building materials (I.e., nails!) but never did that. Thankfully, I didn't have a flat tire as a result and a second contractor found several.

I am so happy with the results as well as the help they provided with my insurance company to cover the cost of the roof. I would highly recommend them.

Ryan helped me find and buy an amazing house, sight unseen, from across the country (my first…read morehouse!). He was helpful, knowledgeable, and appropriately skeptical as we were picking houses to bid on. He knew how to structure offers that were reasonable but strong, given our situation. He guided us through negotiations around inspections and shoring up loose legal ends, and he even helped us with a raw land opportunity that popped up halfway through our purchase. I'd absolutely work with Ryan again, but it went so well I have no reason to for quite some time.

Ryan is awesome! I highly recommend hiring him to be your real estate agent. When my husband and I…read morewere first looking to move to the area I did a quick search for real estate agents on Yelp, Ryan's paged looked great and since it said he responded to Yelp messages typically within an hour (because who wants to pick up a phone?!) I figured I would reach out to see if he had any last minute availability to show us to a few properties and he did. Although Ryan's office is based in Chapel Hill don't let that deter you, we were only looking in Raleigh. He knows all the ins and outs of the Raleigh neighborhoods and can get here quickly when you need him. We went under contract only two weeks after working with him. He uses Patrick with a local home inspection company to do the inspection and he did a thorough job. After the great inspection Ryan said the only thing left he could think of was a metal detector test of the property, since the house was older and there was a small chance of an underground oil tank. We did the test not thinking much of it and turns out there was an underground tank and it had extensively leaked. Ryan and his assistant Karen headed up making all the appointments and getting the right people out there to deal with the issue. Sadly the seller didn't want to really deal with the issue so away that contract went. Since Ryan knew what we were looking for was kind of niche he sent us a property here and there and we kept our eyes open as well. When a house popped up on the market on a Thursday night we text him if he could meet us there the next morning to take a look. He did and we feel in love. We put an offer in that day and started the process all over again. The second time around we worked with Karen a lot and she is great to work with as well. We successfully closed on this house and love where we ended up. An additional note since Ryan works in a group with a few other real estate agents if you need to see a house in a hurry and he isn't available, he will coordinate with someone in his office who is. Team work for the win!

Jim gave us really insightful focus on where in our this could work. He laid out really beautiful plans that were representative of how the finished product looked but honestly, the finished product is even more amazing than we had realized it would be. Jim is experienced and knowledgeable. Jim's team is excellent and very hard working and he and his team are responsive to concerns. As with any project, unexpected things arose, and they all got dealt with. The finished costs were within ten percent of the estimate, which having had several other large projects done on our house, is within what I expect as reasonable, especially in context of providing estimates during times of rising building costs and supply chain delays. He was accurate in timeline of how long project would take and was honest. In terms of the quality of the work... Months later we are still AMAZED at how well it came out. We, at Jim's suggestion to consider, elected EZE breeze windows to make it a 3 season Carolina room that will be usable during pollen season. We spend time out there everyday and eat a lot of meals out there and will for decades to come. Years ago, we got good advice from a contractor who is going to remodel our bathroom. He told us there would be times during the project where we would all be angry with each other, which is normal when you are spending a lot of money to do something to your most important financial investment, which is also where you live. That advice helped us through bathroom renovations. It also helped at the couple of times when I was upset with Jim about things that are pretty typical during a project. We communicated with Jim rather than let things fester and things got handled very smoothly. I would advise anybody was asking to strongly consider using Structurally Speaking to do a deck or porch project and, whether you hire them or someone else, communicate clearly when you have concerns. If you hire Structurally Speaking, Jim will make sure to address your concerns and you will be thrilled with how your project comes out.
