Update Sept 2018*******…read more Well unfortunately my review of Bronzed Diamond has changed. As my first experience with Shelly was phenomenal and something to write to the papers about. Sadly like with most good things must come to an end. I referred a girlfriend there about a month ago, and she set up the appointment and Shelly later had unexpected conflicts and Shelly cancelled a few hours before. Thinking life happens, I set up an appointment for myself on Tuesday for Thursday 6pm for a tan. Shelly's location had changed since the last time, but she was willing to bring a "pop-up" tent and do it in her friends back yard in Red-bluff. Sounded odd, but I was more than willing to give a little to have such a great tanning experience again. My advice, if it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck... I drove 45 mins to the said location, called twice, voicemail was full couldn't leave a message and even texted her. 15 mins later after scheduled time she texts me back saying she thought she text me and that I replied but she couldn't find her equipment and that she couldn't do the tan. I was very disappointed as one, I received no texts as stated, drive 45 mins for nothing and wasted two days where I could have called somewhere else... I do not recommend this place as she appears to not follow through with appointments. She was very nice, and did great work, but unfortunately this type business relies proper scheduling commitments. Best of luck. I was skeptical about all the normal misconception of spray tanning. However my gut led me to Shelly while randomly selecting a place from yelp. I could not be happier with my first experience with spray/air brush tanning. Shelly is not only knowledgeable but very passionate about her business. She makes you feel as comfortable as you can get being nude in front of someone new. She explains everything down to the product that you are putting on your body. I would highly recommend her. I will definitely be returning and I'll surely be telling all my girl friends. My tan came out perfect, even, and natural. I trusted the right person. Came in not pleased and self conscience with a dress I have to wear as a bridesmaid next week. The light pink color mixed with my skin tone made me feel very uncomfortable. I tried the dress after a couple hours after and I feel amazing!!! Mind blowing what her tans can do for confidence. She nailed my tone perfectly. Thank you very much Shelly!

She has a way of making you feel so comfortable and welcome, and will spoil you as if you are being treated at a spa. She customizes the tan to your desired shade and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience and results. I've always been a "tanning bed" girl, but she officially has me hooked on these spray tans! Plus, all of the solutions she uses are fully organic so they are safe for your skin, and she will never use any product on you that she hasn't tested on herself first. OK, I really don't expect it to be orange, but I'll bite. The tan looks orange, even after the add-on of that cream. Fast forward to this week I go back in, they informed me that they no longer have that product from a week ago, but they have a new product. I explained to them that I paid extra for something that was supposed to keep something from happening and I think it may have caused it. And they said yeah, we have something better now. This is a cream that you apply prior to your spray tan. First thing here is if you know your spray tan is going to turn people orange, maybe that issue needs to be addressed? But OK they said it's five dollars but you won't need the other one so it's really only three dollars if you want to do this one instead of the discontinued one. OK I thought maybe this one will actually work. Actually no my tan looks like a mess. It's very splotchy and literally the back of my hands look like dirt. The tan is streaky and I'm nervous about what it's gonna look like tomorrow. Also, I got a charge for $7.45, not three dollars. I have no idea what this is for and I can't get a hold of anybody to ask. Something similar happened last week with an excessive charge. So I'm heading over $100 a month for this membership, and being hit with these excess charges to prevent it from looking like a messy orange baked tan, which it now creates? Something is wrong about this.

Oh and you'll get an AI bullshit response from the "business owner" on every review even though the same issues are being brought up by multiple people and no changes are being made. Here's an idea, HIRE BETTER STAFF or teach the current staff how to do level 1 customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ANYWHERE ELSE. A seasonal tanner, I usually slack off in the fall/winter, but I always go back. The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgable when it comes to tanning and the products they sell. They practice personal sales service and even know my name and preferences when I walk in the door. They are clean, which is a very very important thing in my book since my immune system is so weak. My monthly membership is around $20 a month for unlimited tanning, exclusive to 2 beds unless you upgrade but I've never had to wait long...only for the beds to be cleaned which I am happy to wait for. They give many opportunities to help double money you put on your account to use for upgrades as well as help offset the newly implimented tanning tax. Discounts on lotions are also included. A good value. At first I gave them 4 stars, then I realized I was deducting a star for aspects I see as negative that have nothing to do with their business. The things I don't like result from tanning in general. Things like feeling flushed, sweaty, smelly, etc. Not their doing. So 5 stars it is!
