OK, I really don't expect it to be orange, but I'll bite. The tan looks orange, even after the add-on of that cream. Fast forward to this week I go back in, they informed me that they no longer have that product from a week ago, but they have a new product. I explained to them that I paid extra for something that was supposed to keep something from happening and I think it may have caused it. And they said yeah, we have something better now. This is a cream that you apply prior to your spray tan. First thing here is if you know your spray tan is going to turn people orange, maybe that issue needs to be addressed? But OK they said it's five dollars but you won't need the other one so it's really only three dollars if you want to do this one instead of the discontinued one. OK I thought maybe this one will actually work. Actually no my tan looks like a mess. It's very splotchy and literally the back of my hands look like dirt. The tan is streaky and I'm nervous about what it's gonna look like tomorrow. Also, I got a charge for $7.45, not three dollars. I have no idea what this is for and I can't get a hold of anybody to ask. Something similar happened last week with an excessive charge. So I'm heading over $100 a month for this membership, and being hit with these excess charges to prevent it from looking like a messy orange baked tan, which it now creates? Something is wrong about this.

Oh and you'll get an AI bullshit response from the "business owner" on every review even though the same issues are being brought up by multiple people and no changes are being made. Here's an idea, HIRE BETTER STAFF or teach the current staff how to do level 1 customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Better yet just be pale, it's better than anything you can get from this dump.

Update Sept 2018*******…read more Well unfortunately my review of Bronzed Diamond has changed. As my first experience with Shelly was phenomenal and something to write to the papers about. Sadly like with most good things must come to an end. I referred a girlfriend there about a month ago, and she set up the appointment and Shelly later had unexpected conflicts and Shelly cancelled a few hours before. Thinking life happens, I set up an appointment for myself on Tuesday for Thursday 6pm for a tan. Shelly's location had changed since the last time, but she was willing to bring a "pop-up" tent and do it in her friends back yard in Red-bluff. Sounded odd, but I was more than willing to give a little to have such a great tanning experience again. My advice, if it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck... I drove 45 mins to the said location, called twice, voicemail was full couldn't leave a message and even texted her. 15 mins later after scheduled time she texts me back saying she thought she text me and that I replied but she couldn't find her equipment and that she couldn't do the tan. I was very disappointed as one, I received no texts as stated, drive 45 mins for nothing and wasted two days where I could have called somewhere else... I do not recommend this place as she appears to not follow through with appointments. She was very nice, and did great work, but unfortunately this type business relies proper scheduling commitments. Best of luck. I was skeptical about all the normal misconception of spray tanning. However my gut led me to Shelly while randomly selecting a place from yelp. I could not be happier with my first experience with spray/air brush tanning. Shelly is not only knowledgeable but very passionate about her business. She makes you feel as comfortable as you can get being nude in front of someone new. She explains everything down to the product that you are putting on your body. I would highly recommend her. I will definitely be returning and I'll surely be telling all my girl friends. My tan came out perfect, even, and natural. I trusted the right person. Came in not pleased and self conscience with a dress I have to wear as a bridesmaid next week. The light pink color mixed with my skin tone made me feel very uncomfortable. I tried the dress after a couple hours after and I feel amazing!!! Mind blowing what her tans can do for confidence. She nailed my tone perfectly. Thank you very much Shelly!

He shaped my nails and did a good job on the cuticles but he pulled the tools out from under the table and sprayed them with what I am assuming was rubbing alcohol. They were not in a sealed packet like I'm used to seeing. I could also see that the buffing pad that he used had been used before. That made me a little uncomfortable. The pedicure was a really bad experience for me. The woman did a good job of clipping, filing and cuticle trimming, and this time the tools did come out of a sealed packet, however, when she started to use the pumice stone, I pointed out that I had a thick callous on my big toe and asked her to pay a little extra attention to that. she started rubbing on it really hard and fast like she was sanding a table. It really hurt and I asked to stop. I ended up with a wound on my toe when she was done (see photo). When she started to polish my nails, she noticed the wound and looked at me and shrugged like "oh well". I will never go back.

My new Cat eyed nails were done perfect. So caring. Their salon is clean and my service was done with much care.

Excellent and clean place to tan. I am originally from San Jose, and tanning at australian tan, which was great, so to come to chico and find a warm, and welcoming place to tan was excellent. The gal at the front desk was so pleasant and greeted me as soon as I came in the door. Smiled through my whole visit and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. Please note this review is not a reflection of the staff, just my personal opinion of the overall experience. The masseuse and esthetician were good however I had a few issues with the location. Located in a business park and very close to a main road right across from a high school. Upon entering the clean waiting room I was greeted and given paperwork to complete. There was a diffuser on, with a pleasant smell however the scent was extremely overwhelming...like hit you in the back of the throat, coughing overwhelming. While I waiting I noted there are two treatment rooms directly off of the waiting room, odd as I've always been to places where the check in/waiting area is separate from any treatment rooms. So close in-fact I could hear another guest talking to her masseuse. I was praying I wouldn't get the other room off the waiting area, but just my luck that was my room. My masseuse was very pleasant and did a good job. I had no issue with the service but the environment was so far from relaxing. Upon entering my room I noticed how bright it was. No overhead light but a lamp on and a large window with sheer drapes which let in a lot of light. This window also received direct sun which made the room very warm on a 100+ degree day. The massage started and I was trying to relax when there was conversation in the waiting room, a man was checking out and speaking very loud, he then excited the spa. There is a literal bell on the door handle which goes off every time someone enter or exits, if that wasn't enough there is an electronic chime that ALSO goes off every time the front door is used. I understand the purpose but it is far from relaxing hearing multiple chimes/bells when the front door is used. The bell/chimes went off multiple times during my service, very distracting. My treatment room shared the front wall of the business which has parking spots a sidewalks length away. I had the joy of hearing every car door open/close, honks from doors being locked and someone's very loud stereo, don't forget the motorcycle rev. The business is close to the road so you hear the traffic going by. I was there on a weekend so the traffic from the high school wasn't bad and most if not all businesses in the business park were closed. I can't imagine how loud it would be during the week. Following my service I was instructed to put on a robe and wait in the waiting area for my next service. I found it uncomfortable siting in my robe in a public waiting area while I held my clothes in my arms. I was then escorted to my next service, I was optimistic as I was taken back into the spa. Just my luck my next room was located with the main wall against the roadway. Thankfully I had a head wrap on and the facial steamer helped mask the sound of the passing traffic. But again, I could still hear the electronic chime every time someone used the from door. My service was good and the esthetician was pleasant and knowledgeable. I booked my appointment the night before and received multiple "reminder" texts the day of which was nice I'm on the fence if I will return or not, if I did it would only be for a facial as the environment is not relaxing for a massage in my opinion. .

An older guy walked in from the back, sat at the foot of the chair I was in, said hello and did his best to ask what color I chose. He didn't speak English at all but he tried so, 'A' for effort. I chose a Classic Pedicure, and he did a decent job. He didn't make any conversation since well... he couldn't because of the language barrier. I didn't mind, I chatted with my friend, zoned out and scrolled my phone. I don't have any complaints, he gave me a basic pedicure which was all I wanted. I trimmed my nails directly before going in because I don't like when the techs cut them since often times they cut them into a shape that I don't like. I asked for "no cut, only file and cuticle removal" so that's what he did along with the massage and painting my nails. I will definitely be visiting this place again, but I'll choose the guy that did my friends nails. I thought hers paint job looked better and her nail tech spoke English so that was a plus. Overall a good experience, just make sure to bring your own drink unless all you want is water or white wine since that's what they seem to have an abundance of.

No one, from front of house to the nail tech were remotely friendly. There are many other nail salons in Chico that give much better service, so that's where I'll be going in the future.
