If the ratings allowed I would give a minus 10 to Classie Lassie. Our trained adult (2 & 4 yrs old) dogs were boarded with Cheryl for two nights and three days. As far as we could tell they were the only dogs she was caring for at the time. We arrived earlier than expected and were told we could not pickup our dogs. She refused to release them to us finally saying "in the condition" they were in, her professionalism would not allow it. Upon further questioning she told us they "soiled on themselves" and she needed time to clean them up. WHAT??? Our dogs are highly intelligent working dogs, used to traveling, being in new places & situations. I insisted I see them and discovered she kept them in a dark garage in crates for the entire time they were with her. She complained they barked... well YA! They had to go to the bathroom! We have since been boarding our dogs with a local vet clinic. They love it there where they have an indoor area and attached outdoor run with regular interaction with the staff during the day. They have NEVER soiled themselves anywhere, before or after our experience with not so Classie Lassie. read more
