First, they showed up on time to provide the quote. Second, John has an eye for detail and I could tell he would be meticulous with the installation. Third, APM's quote was provided quickly. It was not only competitive for a quality brand (Carrier), but the quote was broken out line by line...I knew exactly how much every part and task would cost. A separate contractor never replied when I asked them to itemize their quote. APM had excellent communication regarding when they would arrive, how long the install would take and what they would be doing while at our home. John told me to ask him all the questions I had while they were there; he wanted to ensure I was completely informed and confident of the new system and the installation. This company is terrible. I bought a product from them 6 years ago with a 10 year warranty. Last…read moremonth, the unit stopped working. I called and had a tech come out. They told me the part was not warranted and gave me an astronomical price to repair. I investigated and found my warranty. The direct supervisor of the office manager said she would make it right after I proved I had a warranty. I waited two weeks and heard nothing about when they would get in my new part. They finally came out after I called and scheduled. I kept asking multiple times even when I scheduled for them to return how much it would cost. No invoice or quote estimate was given. After the tech spent 35 minutes at my house fixing the equipmenT, he said they would invoice me. Why? You shouldve had labor charges already written up from the 30 minutes at my house the first call and the 35 minutes upon return. They charged me $405 for that. I called around to local businesses and this was about $150 more than what they would have charged if the part is truly warranted, which I don't believe it was. I believe they gave me something right out their shop. Im going to have another company come and put the numbers on it to see. Don't do business with them. I'm reporting to the Better Business Bureau next.
