She listened to my questions, probed where I was unclear or confused, and worked with me to ensure all my questions were answered. It turns out that there may have been some miscommunication between the office and me when I had an inquiry a couple of months ago. Adrianna, without throwing anyone under the proverbial bus, clarified the answer for me and confirmed I understood. Mistakes happen, and that's part of the human condition. But how mistakes are handled is what separates a good team member from a great one, and Adrianna exemplified what a great team member does: Not dwell on the mistake, quickly apologize for any confusion (and the confusion my have been mine...), and move on.
