Today, I drove 90 miles and was the only customer in the golf department (and almost the entire store). First, a woman named Bobbie started talking to me and explained she was not really a golfer and had limited experience on fittings. Kevin arrived in the fitting room and told me that he had (some kind of) "applicant-orientation" and that he would not be able to do the fitting, however, Bobbie could help me. And, if Bobbie had any questions, he could make himself available for her. I ask him if he wasn't aware of my appointment? And, he said that he was not informed about that. Then he looked at my old clubs (which I brought in) and told me he would not be able to replace those. I said, well - I am here to buy new clubs. We went back and forth on my fitting and his job applicant, and it was clear he did not want to be bothered at that time, but continued to say Bobbie can do it, even though she has never fitted anyone before. Again, nothing against Bobbie - she was very polite - but she was admittedly unqualified. So, I just said I would go somewhere else -- and there was absolutely no objection on their part. Whether it were my old clubs or the job-applicant, it did not matter -- he had no interest in helping (even though I was about to drop $3,000 to $5,000 - whatever the amount for a whole new set of clubs).

As I said, this is probably your best bet for high adventure gear in the Twin Falls area. They have camping equipment, boating gear, kayaks, canoes, fishing equipment, and firearms. They have a very good selection, and you can also shop online and have items shipped to the store for free. There prices are competitive with other similar retailers, and when I'm purchasing gear I often check the price at Sportsman's Warehouse and purchase from whoever has the best price. The parking lot is shared with the rest of the strip mall, and it isn't THE EASIEST lot to get into. But it's plenty big and there's ample space.

There was one other customer in their, 2. The associate with no mask herself being worn. So Famous Footwear you just lost a customer. The other stores like the money and decently ask if a person forgets their mask. Also just for your know here in Twin Falls, ID there is no mask mandate.

I should have started my search at the third store Tj Max. The store manager Tom encountered me in the aisle disappointed that I couldn't find what I wanted. This man is what service is all about. He was friendly, listened in regards to my search and solved my problem. He restored my faith in customer service and as I checked out the staff was friendly and overall it was a great experience. Next time I will start my search at TJ Max.
