I wish I could give this woman a negative star for her poor bedside manner. Her credentials mean nothing if she is not going to listen to you and brush off your concerns. I had to have a thyroid biopsy to which she said would not hurt and thus would not need numbing. I cried through the whole procedure and was unable to finish it due to how much pain I was in. She didn't even seem to care. Her assistant was more concerned than she was. She had no idea of my conditions and was not interested in learning about them by looking into them. Even though this doctor may have experience and expertise she is an awful person who has ZERO empathy for her patients. I would highly recommend NOT going to see this person!! Don't even try advocating for yourself with her because she just doesn't give a damn. Find someone else, I assure you will be better off. This woman needs to take a class on descent bedside manner and improvement of empathy. read more

Was referred by my primary physician concerning diabetic issues. The first ( & only) appointment I was seen by her PA. Don't doctors do the initial evaluation? I told the PA my issues, she suggested bloodwork " to see if" I actually had diabetes. Um, what? I'd already been diagnosed by the primary. Anyway, between the primary's office assistant & this place I finally ended up with an appointment but I couldn't remember where the place/building was( although I did get into the right area). That's when I had a panic attack & called the office to let them know the situation-no answer-& get help on finding them. So I left a message telling them I'd " be at their friggin' office if I could find the friggin place. The first time someone had brought me. I had to go to another building nearby & get directions & thats when I discovered the receptionist had put all calls on recording. I was late, yes, but would've wait an hour to get in. Nope, I too late & have to reschedule at PA's convince, I'd be called for later date. After that I received a notice I'd not shown up for 3 appointments, & our " relationship had been compromised", i could no longer see her or wherever she worked (4 other offices). I'm like what??! Number 1-I'd only seen the PA once, & now I'm being banned from different offices?? I did tell the receptionist I wasn't paying a no show fee of $75.00when I'd clearly been there, just late. Unbelievable! So, for that reason, this business gets a 1 & I'll never go there again, even If given the chance! read more

I was 40 years old with a master's degree and all she saw was that I was a disabled person and she judged me immediately without knowing it was a result of domestic violence. She was so condescending and rude that I brought my mother to an appointment and she was so appalled by the way she spoke to us BOTH, that I refused to go back. My thyroid was growing out of my neck and she outright said that I was wasting her time. I was fine and definitely didn't need surgery. She was insulting and lain rude and I witnessed her being verbally abusive to her own staff. I would absolutely never ever recommend anyone actually go to her. Also, I got a second opinion and I had an aggressive and fast growing cancer so she was dead wrong. read more

First off I want to say that I am in the armed forces. After 2.5 months after an issue had been identified that I had been dealing with for over a year, I eagerly looked forward to my first meeting with Miss Claudia Fish. Boy was I in for a let down. First, she's very condescending and doesn't care about you. For example, she tried to downplay my condition by citing research, in which I was already familiar and understood it didn't apply to me. Then she made me redo all the testing procedures which brought me into her office. In order to do that, I had to cancel my leave plans to save myself from waiting another two weeks. Conveniently, as the only doctor in this area for this type of issue, she takes a vacation while making it so I cannot. Fast forward, I waited yet another month, now 4.5 months after my disagnosis, I am in again and this time, thank God, we are talking treatment. For this, I explain exactly what I don't want to use. Before telling me what she's going to prescribe, she explains how she still doesn't believe me and thinks this injury is self induced from illegal use of substances. She then more or less says, well I don't care and prescribes that one treatment method I didn't like. Still happy to at least get something, I vowed not to be upset and try it. After using it, I really don't think this is helping and really don't like my side effects. I think this lady is extremely unprofessional. I am now in the process of paying out of pocket for non work provided insurance in order to seek treatment, probably having to travel to Syracuse to do so. If I have to go with no insurance to see another specialist, I am fine with that. If you like completely deferring to a higher power and won't do your own research, seek her out. At least the office is clean; they get you in and out fast. If you actually do try to get smart on what ails you, be prepared to not have a conversation and be belittled. read more

Dr. Fish is the most uncompassionate, dismissive, condescending health"care" provider I've ever encountered in my life. I honestly wish I had the perfect string of words to describe all of the reasons I DO NOT recommend seeking out her services. For a working mother who often puts her health and well-being LAST, she did not hesitate to make me feel like I was wasting her time by dismissing my concerns and making condescending comments every chance she got. I am absolutely appalled by her behavior. I'm sure the reason she has her own practice is because any legitimate hospital would fire her for her horrific bedside manner and poor attitude toward her patience. The only way to get away with it would be to open her own practice. I also witnessed her being rude to her office staff. She lacks empathy and from my experience, is just a miserable human being. I have been a patient of Dr. Fish for 20 years and would never consider seeing anyone else. She is very understanding, tells me like it is, and always greets me with a smile. She is patient, takes the time to listen and explains things completely. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I can't imagine what my medical condition would be without her. read more
