However 2 weeks ago, a box of cookies fell from my hands and the cashier was so rude to me. Not only did she just stand there and looked she didn't try to help. This is my go to for tres leches. All flavors are delicious. My all time fave is pina colada. Their cookies are also amazing. I've ordered cakes here twice for a special occasion and they've done an outstanding job both times. Also a scrumptious treat will have to be their Mexican wedding cookies!!! Very disappointed in the customer service from this Bakery. I am not from Texas and this was my first time planning a birthday party for my daughter away from our home state. I researched for a while looking for the perfect location to help make sure my daughter's Crayola birthday cake was perfect. I should have walked out on the 1st visit to place the order. The "mom" that takes the order had a hard time communicating what types of decorations her "daughter" could create. I asked to speak to the daughter and that was not an option. She said that she does the order and the daughter decorates. This was frustrating because I had pictures of 3 cakes but wanted a merged version. The mom told me that most people bring a picture of what they want, and they just make it. I would expect this type of comment from Walmart, not a small family owned bakery. I spent over 20 minutes there trying to ensure that what I wanted was understood. I wanted a 6-inch specialty cake and 24 plain cupcakes. The cupcakes were being used for an activity during the party. I was quoted $96 which is A LOT for this order, but I thought I would support a small business. I let the mom know that the cake was important, and she ensured me that she would not let me down. She had me text pictures of what I wanted and I even typed it out as well, so she could show her daughter. (This is about 3 weeks prior to the party) A week before the party I sent a text asking if I could add another dozen cupcakes and did not get a response. I had to send another text asking if she got the first one. I got a response. The day of my daughter's party was a big rush so I was late picking up the cupcakes. I get there and the 6inch cake was beautiful. Then we get to the cupcakes, they were beautiful but not even close to what I asked for. I expressed this to the mom and then the daughter comes from the back and tells me that she made the cupcakes better. (rude) I explained what I wanted them for and she said again I made them better. The three ladies argued me down in the store and the said they couldn't make the color icing that I wanted. I asked why they didn't call me and the daughter shrugged and said she made the cupcakes match the cake. She said I could take the toppings off myself. She even snatched the container of cupcakes back from me, even though I said I did not have time and I did not want a rushed job. I told them I wanted to pay and that I would not be back...this is when they told me my balance was $78 (I had already paid $48) I asked if they would take something off because they did not complete my order correctly. The daughter said no, because it was her time and they looked nice. 1 hour before my daughter's party I was forced to pay $126 for what I did not order. I am so disappointed in the behavior and customer service I received here. I would have been completely happy with a I'm sorry and even just an attempt at some type of compensation, even $5. This felt like a pride thing with these ladies and I will never recommend them. Beautiful taste and look, but don't have expectations to get what you asked for. read more

I came in within two weeks in advance to place an order for my cake and discussed the details I wanted my cake to have with the store owner and even asked if my simple design was manageable for the bakers and the store owner agreed. Once my cake due date arrives I pickup my cake and notice it is not what I asked for and was very disappointed within the colors and the cakes design was totally not what I asked for and told the store owner if anything else was possible because the event was hours away from beginning and was upset because the cake was not what I asked for and overall because I am paying for my cake and told her and her bakers in advance. The store owner reacted aggressively because of my comment about being disappointed that the cake was not what I envisioned at all and proceed to humiliate me in front of other customers and told me if I didn't like it that was my problem and she was not going to do anything about it since it's her bakery she does whatever she wants at any given time. The store owner was very dramatic and kept throwing her hands in the air almost as if she were to hit me and my 12 yr/o daughter since I didn't want any more problems other than the cake being A disaster I left the store. I really hope she changes her ways in behaving because as a customer it is unpleasant to not receive what you asked for. read more

I finally stopped in Mother's Day weekend based on reviews I'd read here on Yelp. I purchased two slices of cake, one was a strawberry cake and the other was red velvet.
