Nicely updated and decorated rooms. Very clean. Highly recommended! Even the outside is decorated now for Halloween and with Bigfoot.

It was in a decent location for us. I was very pleased with the room. It was clean, and had clearly been renovated at some point (based on condition and decor). We felt safe, and it met our needs. The hot breakfast was decent! Would consider staying here again if need be.

I don't even know where to start about our visit here. As someone who has stayed in everything from…read moretents to resorts, I think I have a pretty good idea of what to expect from a Level 2/3 hotel. My mom has stayed at other locations and overall been happy so we decided to stay at this location. It was $95 for the night and seemed high for what you get but since it offered breakfast and had a pool we justified the cost. On first arriving, the lobby was clean and seemed welcoming although small for where you are also eating breakfast. This did prove true in the morning so we took it back to our room which was inconvenient when we needed something else. However, we checked in and proceeded to unload the car. On our way in the desk clerk said their system messed up and she needed my card again. So I had to stop with a cart of stuff and re-check in. The room was clean and an average size but the shower had mold as well as the grout in between the tile was as dark as the tile in many areas. This is usually a sign of things not being cleaned adequately but I have seen worse. When we looked at the window the screen was hanging off but it was 90 degrees so we weren't going to open the window. We proceeded to head to the pool where we were greeted with a sign that said the pool was being renovated but open. This proved to be an excuse as evidenced in the photos. The paint is flaking off everywhere even in the pool when swimming, there is paint and outside debris on the floor, huge areas of mold on the wall where it is coming through the paint they tried to cover it up with, the outside windows are wide open with no screens, pool ladder is broken (no sign on it) , and the pool sign says limit 5 people (for a 3 floor hotel). We ended up heading to dinner and when we came back one of our group (there were 4 of us) was cold so we called down (9:30 )and asked for an extra blanket and towels. My husband was told they would be brought up. 30 minutes later they aren't there so he calls back. They said they don't deliver stuff this late we needed to come down. He also asked for more makeup remover wipes (there was only 1 toiletry of each and I had registered for 4 people) and was told they didn't have any. We came down and I asked the clerk who told my husband they would bring it up and how many people were working. She kept saying there is normally 1 person who works at night. Surprise there was another person working so I asked them why no one called us to say they weren't bringing it up to which she replied the other girl was new and must have forgotten. At that point she started being rude and I brought up my safety concerns with the still open windows etc and she basically told me it was fine. Yet the parking lot has signs that say basically you park at your own risk. The next morning when we had house keeping knock on our door almost 2 hours before checkout. We told them we weren't leaving yet and did ask about more toiletries. Surprise they had make up remover wipes. At check out I asked for a printed receipt showing I had checked out and total so I could make sure there were no added expense and the GM got an attitude. I also told her I was going to be contacting corporate to which she said nothing, didn't ask what was wrong, or offer to help. I did give it 2 stars because the breakfast was good and had a nice variety, the beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows. I do want to note I would NOT stay here again or recommend it to anyone. When we were leaving the side doors were propped open, the pool door and windows were open and that area had not been cleaned up even after me saying something about it last night. The open doors and windows are a safety risk. They do have cameras but they are not monitored. The screens are at the front desk and every time I went to the front desk no one was there. Even during check out and check in times. If I could I would give it 1 1/2 stars. Edited to add: The employees stand right outside the main doors and smoke so it goes right in your face yet they are a non-smoking hotel

When we rolled in close to midnight, we were greeted by Arthur who was the friendliest and most helpful hotel employee we've come across in a very long time. Check in took less than a minute and we were in our sparkling clean room another minute later. The bed was so comfortable. In the morning, another smiling face greeted us warmly in the lobby. (Sorry, I forgot to ask her name!) The included breakfast was well above average and also super clean. Jennifer kept things stocked, never stopped cleaning, answered questions, and was yet another positive and friendly staff member. I don't know who hires the employees here, but they have a real knack for finding gems! Overall, this experience far exceeded expectations. The bad part and really only reason it's 4 stars vs 5 is that my booking.com app wasn't working properly and had the hotel at $128 for the night before taxes. Since I couldn't get it to work (i recently upgraded my phone and suspect that's the reason), i asked the receptionist if he could match the price or do anything for me to get closer to it. He said he can't give any discounts and the rate is $199. That's crazy to me. I was checking in at midnight. I also signed up for Igh rewards but they said since i didn't sign up prior to my stay i can't get credit for the stay. Silly really, when you're trying to promote a rewards program but refuse to give the reward.

We were warmly greeted when we checked in. I booked two king rooms for two nights. Rooms were big, clean and had good amenities. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Only two complaints about the room. Water pressure was low in the shower. I took a shower late at night to wash the cigarette smoke smell off after visiting my family. Everyone seems to smoke but me. And the towels were very rough. They did absorb well. Highway noise on the back side is kinda loud but with white noise playing on my iPad it wasn't a big deal. Bed was comfortable. And it was nice to have a king bed to myself. My husband stayed home to take care of new puppy. Breakfast in the morning was great. Eggs, sausage, pancakes from a pancake machine, gravy biscuits and bacon. Lots of drink choices. There was a guy taking very good care of the food area. They were super nice and let us the use the meeting room for a small family gathering. Over all great hotel and staff.
