Over and over we have to call for WARRANTY WORK. We get the run around constantly from our customer service warranty representative, Steven Contreras. He promises to get repair workers to our homes but we have to continue to call over and over again. The appliances that they charge an extreme premium for are ALL TRASH. Out of the 14 appliances between the 2 homes, over half have had to have service and 2 have already had to be replaced before they were 2 years old. Out of 14 brand new homes on our street, there isn't one home where the sliding glass can be easily opened. I had to have repair men out 3 times to work on it, and it still is very difficult to open. My windows were not sealed, had a house full of sand. My laundry room light broke in less than a year, we have been trying to get Steven Contreras to send an electrician for 2 months but we just kerp getting the run around. If we had known how awful these people are WE WOULD HAVE TAKEN OUR MONEY TO A DIFFERENT BUILDER. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS AND GO TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and read all the complaints about this company before giving them your money. You will not be satisfied with a Hakes Brothers Home.

In early 2025 it was discovered that there was a very long term water leak in a wall cavity in a bathroom. The leak resulted from the use of contaminated Pex tubing, so the plumber told us. Cost of repairs to the plumbing and damage to our home exceeded $5,000! Fortunately, part of the expense was covered by insurance. About two months ago, while standing by the kitchen island I heard a strange sound followed by seeing the sink had dropped down into the cabinet 4-6 inches. Turns out, the only thing holding the sunk in place for 6 years was a bead of clear silicon. No under bracing whatsoever! Cost, only $1.200! Just goes to show, Abrazo homes are no better than any other!

I think it was a cheap window and poor framing because when I get the level out it is not square. I have several cracked tiles that are huge. expecting more to crack because when you drop a penny on some of the tiles it sounds hollow in certain areas. I had issues with the breaker and the Bosch microwave went out on The second year. The wiring to the sprinklers was wired wrong so we have to water our plants with a hose. The ceiling now has water leaks due to a bad roof job! Sivage hires the worst cheapest contractors! My dream home turned into a disaster home! There are more things wrong with the house that should not be given the house is four years old. I have called savage and Adriane said the roof it's not covered because it's been four years. The only thing covered for 10 years is structural meaning the joists and the wood walls. So I guess if the house is not collapsing on top of you due to the framing you're stuck with what you got.
