This is an excellent studio to go to if you want to get started with pottery. I've taken the try it class as well as the beginner and intermediate classes. You will learn a lot from the amazing instructors and the studio assistants are friendly and willing to help. I like how you have access to the studio outside of class time (depending on the class you choose). Taking advantage of the open studio time is what really helped me improved my skills. You have access to many useful tools and a good amount of glazes, but you can also bring your own cone 6 glazes. Unfortunately the studio is 50 minutes away, so I ended up setting up a studio at home. But my time at this studio definitely set me up for success. read more

Soooo fun! I came here with a friend to paint some pottery. It was a blast. I highly recommend reserving a table online if you know you will be going because space fills up fast. Each table has a booklet with instructions on different techniques that you can use to decorate your item. Theres a 7 day turn around to get your item. My friends and I get together once a month to do a fun activity and then go to dinner, so we decided to come here for our outing last month and it was SO much fun and so unique!! None of us had ever painted pottery before, but we got clear instructions, and the hardest part was 1) picking what we wanted to paint - they had SO many different ones to choose one, and 2) picking what colors we wanted and what styles! We could've probably stayed there all night!! LOL We ultimately ended up choosing the dog treat jar, a frame and a large cup. We were all not sure what to expect when I got the call the next week that they were ready for pick up, since depending on how many coats you paint, that will give you either a light or dark color once fired - but they all looked perfectly amazing!!! I got the frame and I was surprised to see that they put the back on it with the stand. I don't know why I didn't think they would do that, but I am so glad they did - cause I'm not sure what I would do with just a frame lol! The place itself was very cute, super clean, and even had drinks (non-alcoholic) and snacks to buy. It's in the same plaza as Stormhouse Brewing, so since they don't serve food there, I was able to pick up an appetizer from the brewery so we could eat while we painted. They even allowed our friend to bring her VERY well behaved french bulldog (she had a last minute dog sitter cancellation and were told as long as he wasn't disruptive to other guests - so I don't think this is common practice but really thankful for their acceptance!). This was our first time at the new location. Super easy to get to, and the space is more spacious and a really pretty layout. I reserved a Saturday evening spot in their Try-It class for a mommy-daughter date. The reservation system is super easy to use too. It was GREAT!! Julian was an engaging, easy-to-follow, and very patient instructor! The whole clay-manipulating activity is very cathartic and relaxing. Wish it was affordable enough to do on a regular basis. It's totally worth the cost, and comes with TWO pieces to take home! Highly recommend!! read more

Talk about an unexpected good time! We got creative and painted some beautiful wares (not cheap) but worth it. We weren't on our phones and we supported each other in our artistic endeavors. It was really nice and relaxing. Their new location (used to be in downtown gardens by Whole Foods) is more spacious and bright than the old spot. It feels welcoming and inviting. The staff provide clear expectations and instructions so we felt comfortable with the process. Step 1. Walk in Step 2. Pick your wares (random items that you can choose from to paint) Step 3. Find a table (staff will help/direct b/c ppl make reservations) Step 4. Visit paint wall and pick your paint colors and brushes (water cups for brush cleaning are already on the table) Step 5. Apron. Put it on! (although all paint at Craft Haus is washable and won't stain ) Step 6. Have fun painting! Step 7. Accept the fact that you paid $97 to paint a butter dish and for your daughter to paint a jewelry tray . Pull out your wallet and suck it up. Lol Step 8. Place your items on the tray to be glazed and provide your phone # so they can call you in about a a week and a half to pick up your finished items. With Valentine's Day around the corner, I can't recommend this place enough! I had such a great time here. The instructors were amazing--super detailed and helpful, which made the experience so enjoyable. Plus, the finished product turned out way better than I expected! When we went, it wasn't super busy (I think it was a Tuesday), so the vibe was really relaxed. This is also a fantastic idea for a girls' day or night out! Been here twice now. Service is alright and there is a good selection of paints and materials to get creative. The place is also really nice and relaxing to be in. However, one thing to point out is that both times the selection of things to paint was poor. Wish there was less already-customized things and more variety/stock of plain things. Maybe even being able to see the stock online prior to going would help, as it's a bit disappointing when you arrive and there isn't anything you actually want to paint and you have to compromise. read more

This place was great! I brought my 6 year old son, my niece, my parents and my sister and everyone had fun. I find it relaxing. My family had a lot of questions and they were really patient with everyone. I always really enjoy my experience at Craft Haus. I've taken groups of friends or dates here and we always have a fun time painting. I really like how organized and nice this place is. The paints are all really pretty colors and they have a wide array of options. I don't think the prices are too steep for what it is. I know what I'm doing so I hardly ask questions, but I do think the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. My pieces always turn out great and I probably have about 10 items at this point. I'm glad they moved to a bigger spot recently. I think the only thing I would have a complaint about is the paintbrushes. I get that they can't have really quality brushes due to the nature of the business, but I would love some good tiny brushes for little details. Other than that, it's an awesome place that I always will go back to. read more

Great place to do something different and get out of the heat. Lots of options of what to paint and reasonable prices. It takes at a minimum an hour and a half to complete a piece because you have to keep painting over areas so the color is brighter. All pieces are done in about a week. They offer a great summer camp that the kids did on a weekly basis with a different theme every week. read more

The girls had a blast! They made pottery and used charcoal stencils. The finished products were put on display at our closing ceremonies for the year! They lost my art piece. First of all it takes them SEVEN days to fire and finish a piece of pottery! SEVEN DAYS!!! In this day and age where everything is instant and easy this art shop still functions in the dark ages. There's absolutely no reason that a piece of artwork should take seven days to finish. On the 7th day, I went to pick up my piece. Guess what? It wasn't ready (big surprise). Went back on 10th day. Guess what? Couldn't find it. Went back on 15th day only to be told it had been lost. Apparently one of the geniuses that works there bagged it up with someone else's order and off it went. I've never done anything artsy in my life. I did this because I wanted to make a gift for my newborn niece that she could cherish forever (I painted a really cute ice cream bowl). So now I'm out my gift. They offered me store credit but I got my money back because I will NEVER go back there again. read more

My family loved to visit this place to do pottery painting with my kids. When spring break came up my daughter asked if I would send her to their day camp. Since I know how much they all enjoy it I said sure. I called in, signed her up, paid the deposit. The night before she ended up with a 103° Fever. I called to see if they could accommodate her another day or put it towards another class and they stated they would not. My daughter was heartbroken since she had been looking forward to going and had been asking about the possibility of doing her birthday there. I have 3 kids and every time I go (or their grandma takes them) we spend so much money in there. Really disappointed to see that that's how they chose to handle the situation. We have attended a few mommy and me classes, each time the teacher is very attentive to us and helps us with new techniques. The story before the craft helps prepare the kids for the theme of the day. It is so adorable and I love that we will always have memories in my sons art pieces. We will be back soon! read more

Had a nice time here, we went with the Girl Scouts and made some pottery in the private party room. I kind of feel that our coach was a little overwhelmed as Im sure I would be dealing with a bunch of little girls! I'm not sure if we paid a group rate but I think it was priced fair. Now I did see boxes laying around from a familiar website I visit and I can tell you now the mark up on the figures is like 100%.... Overall we had a nice time I really enjoyed getting out of the house and doing something fun with the kids that is creative. I will tell you when I went to pick up our pottery 2 pieces were missing as each girl made 2 item's. I'm not so sure I'll return but it was a lot of fun!!! read more

My family and I did toddler time here for Christmas. It was such a cute experience. The kids were greeted with their names on their tables. Then they sat down and were given a snack and a drink. After that they read them a book and were given reindeer and three colors to paint it with. The kids had a blast and it was well worth the money. read more

I sent my child for a week of art summer camp here. Sorry to say I wouldn't recommend it. The age group seemed to range from 5/6 years to about 14/15, all together in one group. My child said the older kids spent a lot of time on their phones. At drop off and pick-up times the counsellors seemed mostly disengaged, looked bored and listless. After a week of camp my child didn't even know any of their names. My child gave mixed reviews. The projects were cute but the children didn't seem to get much encouragement to interact with one another or with the counselors. My child does not want to return next year. read more

I have always wanted to learn pottery throwing on the wheel. So when someone told me about pottery classes at the Clay Haus in Palm Beach Gardens, I was very excited. I took a walk-in "try it" class on a Saturday. There were 6 people in the class, including one 8 yr old. Meghean, the teacher gave each of us an excellent demonstration and then one-on-one instruction and we all were able to make a cute little vessel on the first try! I was hooked and started private classes the next week. It was such a great experience that I bought my own wheel to practice at home and am having a blast. Meghean has been amazingly accommodating during this tough Covid-19 time, giving me links to tutorials and answering my myriad questions by text. I'm so excited for the studio to open again! All the instructors I've met there are friendly, skilled and really want everyone to learn and make wonderful pottery. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! read more

Go van Gogh has been a place where our children have had lots of fun over the years. We've hosted birthday parties, attended camps, and painted ceramics with our daughters. Yesterday we booked a party at Go van Gogh for one of our daughters, and then our daughter changed her mind. We spoke with the owner, Grace, less than 24 hours after booking, and she was completely unwilling to do anything for us, no refund, no transfer, no giving us a session to paint. Nothing. As a small business, I would have thought they would have granted long time customers some "grace", but none was to be found. read more
