TLDR; This company put a roof on my house that didn't last even 1/4 of the promised time; when I reached out to negotiate reimbursement (because a new roof is needed), I was blocked by the owner, with no response. If you need any kind of roof work done on your home, or you want to be treated with any kind of respect, then absolutely DO NOT go to Brandon's Home Repairs. When he put a new roof on my mom's house (while he worked under a different company name), he assured her it would last about 4x as long as it actually has. We have to put a new roof on, which is expensive, so I reached out to the owner, to explain the situation and see if we could get compensation. Of course nobody expects their first request to just be paid, and I was fully open to negotiation, but it didn't seem to right to post a review without even giving him the chance to make it right. However, after being ignored, and now very obviously blocked, without any kind of response, I'm more upset than if he had just said no, or been unable to reach an agreement. When I looked up his previous business, I found that I'm not the only one this happened to, either. I guess if you're looking for a short term fix, then this business might be fine. But for any kind of honesty, or long-term work, I'd look elsewhere.

3/14 to 4/1 Contacted Bassett Seamless Gutters INC due to…read morehangers needing replaced. Had a Life time warranty service however you are not covered for" service call fixes". Service called and fix runs 250.00 dollars. You can not use another handy man service to fix the defect or issue because Bassett will not sell their parts to a 3rd party or the public. Jenny was very nice however I did have to reach out multiple times to get a date of work. Stated family matters causing delays. Even then no time of day was offered. I'll follow up with any other unknown results. I've read some horrible reviews hoping my experience will be top knotch!!! Sunny till it Thunders (Make sure to ask detailed future service questions before you buy. Make sure you understand only their parts only can be used on these gutters. No generic parts work.

I AM SORRY TO SAY--DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BASSETT GUTTERS AND MORE, Winston-Salem, NC…read more Terrible customer service, and a spray paint short-cut, ruined what could have been a good experience. Rather than recommend Bassett, I urge others to avoid them. They do not stand behind their product installation and once they have been paid, they do not seem to care about any situation you may have. This also applied to a baffle they replaced with a much smaller one. The water in a heavy rain gushes over it and lands in the center of my deck. This never happened before. The owner said he would replace it with a wider one when he was next in the area. That was two years ago, and nothing has been done. I was pleased with the original installation and thought they did a good job. I even tipped his workers. I did not realize that he was spray painting the endcaps to match the color I chose. Later, the painted parts began to peel and show white rather than the dark brown chosen. Now, every end cap is white or mostly white, against a dark brown gutter. Also a louvered cap he installed in a corner collects leaves and they stack up into the roof valley causing overflow. When notified of this problem, including a picture. The owner responded that that problem was not covered under the warranty, as it was not a clogged gutter. I pointed out the paint peeling problem and stated clearly that that was not in keeping with the agreement. He offered to come and again spray paint the endcaps. But would not agree to fix the louvered cap that holds leaves and causes water to pour over. I declined the offer for additional spray painting, as I felt it would be more of the same, and did not want to put workers on high ladders for another temporary cover-up job. I may contact the K-Guard Licensor directly. I doubt they condone these practices, and they should be informed about them by customers who have been mistreated. If installed properly, K-Guard gutters should function as promised, and as far as I can tell, mine actual gutters are. It is improper installation aspects, spray-paint short-cuts, and shirking responsibility for real problems, caused by installation, that prompts this negative review. STAY AWAY! LM Fancy Gap, VA
