Alot of the kids come from broken homes and have no one to speak with about. I feel bad for them. One of the staff members played a hand in getting my sister fired. Cause she tried to show the kids discipline by making the kids write,that they will not be disrespectful towards others. The kids show no respect because they arent held accountable for their own actions, but she was in the wrong. Kids and adults need to be respectful to each other. The after school prisn't. That's in the multi purpose room isn't worth they constantly yell at the kids. It needs to be something done. Cause as a person who pays so much in property tax fees the schools aren't great. i was a student here around 7 years ago at least, but i left public school due to covid then soon…read morechanged schools. it was good kindergarten - first grade even if i had some issues with a classmate in first grade (and the exclusion and being treated like a troublemaker despite i wasnt). but then in second grade i got so bullied by my teacher, the supervisors, and my classmates that i have low self esteem to this day. i also got physically hurt once by a few boys (they bruised my legs) just for trying to play soccer as a girl. i just wish i was treated nicer there, as it was decent until 2nd grade even with the exclusion the entire time. please be wary of bullying if you send any children to this school. i dont know how it is in these recent years but i dont want anyone else to be a victim to severe bullying even by staff, thank you if you read this entire thing.

Sadly a lot of bullying is happening and it is not been addressed my child was physically beat and no one did anything about it. The principal was awful and she had feuds with the staff and parents, she was extremely rude and ended being removed from the school. The parking is limited and many have to park on the street which results in fines from violating the red zone, but there is nowhere to park.

My daughter previous school in Perris was not as I expected, her teacher never corrected her homework and nor did she send home papers for me. The other good thing is that,Fruitvale send parents recording via phone so we could be up to date as far as spring break notice, upcoming test, open house and so forth.

My son who was 7 at the time was repeatedly attacked by 3 older students…read more Started with a slap to the back of the head and gradually moved to two kids holding my son while one would punch him in the stomach, face and kick him in the nuts. Then one day I picked him up and the whole side of his face was swollen as they stomped on his face at recess. No call. No nothing. After an urgent care visit it was found that my son had a concussion and broken ribs. After I made a scene at the school about the incident. The principal Mr Hudek and VP Mrs Connelly then began retaliating against my son. I received 6 calls within 2 weeks from the VP. With stupid things like your son is making fart noises in class. They don't call when your son gets a concussion but if you make fart noises your done. I removed my kids from the district. Since then I have discovered 4 other families that these same boys are attacking. Avoid this whole district if you can!

It's a bit older and some locations need a touch-up, but I love how the staff and students value it! The MPR seemed to have gotten a remodel so I think the school is currently in a remodel phase! The front also got a fresh coat of paint and a new mural! It's good to see the district supporting the sites. As for the classrooms/rooms, again they're a little older but very spacious. Even the trailers have a lot of room to walk around. I was happy to notice each room has a smartboard, handy projector, and large tables. All the kids seemed comfortable. The lounge and working room is a bit small and crowded, but the restrooms are great in there! Most of the staff has been quite friendly and helpful, Hemmerling has a good school community.
