The valets may be polite but, the screeners hired for hospitals are another story . To be told to " sit your butt down til I get to you " is unnecessary. This was said to me because I was white . They spoke to women of Color & gave them access stickers . read more

Used this valet service in February 2022. In St. Louis at the Holiday inn. Did 2500 damage to my vehicle. I contacted Colin Filip and he informed me they were responsible for the damage and would take care of it. Once I received the estimate I contacted Colin only to find out now I had to file through the claims process which I did now no one will return my calls. My Pastaria review mentioned the valet had disappeared with a $6 tip on a $4 valet and I advised people to "use the service at your own risk" or something similar. To my surprise a representative (owner?!) of Clayton Valet reached out to me and asked if he could provide two free passes to try his service again..Chris if you are not the owner he/she should give you a big pat on the back for knowing what it will take to get people to try a service the second time. Great company to do business with. The many times I have used them, I have never had a problem. The drivers are always kind and courteous. When I call the office, the people are very helpful and willing to do what is necessary to get me where I need to go and ON TIME. Last night, I had my second horrible experience with this company. I pulled up right in front of the valet booth around 6:55 pm. Normally, I wouldn't use a valet service as I'd prefer to park in a garage or on the street. However, I recently sustained a knee injury and was forced to use crutches. I sat in the car waiting for 15 minutes waiting to get served, while those who pulled in behind me got served immediately. I called my friend who was waiting in the restaurant and asked her to come outside and help me. As soon as she walked to the car, the workers finally decided to serve me. According to the time on my receipt, it wasn't until 7:11 pm. After I called my car back, I was then pestered to pay $6 in cash despite the fact that I had already paid on the website. At first, I believed they ignored my car because it wasn't some super fancy car. It's just a plain Honda, not like the other Mercedes and Audis that they served before me. Then I remembered the first negative experience I had using this service with my mom. We were in her BMW and waited almost the same amount of time to be served. I realized that it might not have to do with the class stereotype of my car, but maybe my race. My mom and I are African-American, which I believe had to do with the treatment we both received by the same people on multiple occasions. This notion was also confirmed for me because I wasn't served until my friend, who was white, came out of the restaurant to help me out the car. I do not appreciate such blatant discrimination. My dollars are worth the same as everyone else's and all I wanted was to pay for the service. It made it hard on me especially since I was on crutches. Believe that I will not be returning to any restaurant that uses this service until I can park far away and walk on my own. read more

Horribly uncoordinated. Would not recommend at all, avoid at all costs. They couldn't find my keys after I gave them the ticket. I managed to find my keys in their box. Then they couldn't find my car. 45 minutes pass (as I wait outside in the 35 degree cold) with still nothing. No one knows anything about it. My g/f waits there and I embark to the nearby parking garages to try and find my car myself with no luck. Upon my return, I manage to find someone who knows about my car. Apparently, they found it a while ago, but it wouldn't start. Would have been nice if they let me know this as soon as they found it out, as I carry jumper cables and I was there for an office party with plenty of people who would have been willing to jump me. We're over an hour in at this point. The guy leads me to my car to verify that it was mine. I try to start it, it's dead. Completely dead, won't even try to turn over. Now, I have no hard proof, but I would be willing to bet good money that they left my lights on. My lights do not turn off automatically, and my battery is absolutely not weak enough to have been that completely dead from just sitting outside in the cold for ~4 hours. The valet tells me he's going to get his supervisor to come jump me. No one shows for over a half hour, at this point I've already been asking co-workers and flagging down people driving by. Finally someone with the valet service comes and manages to get me jumped. The entire ordeal was nearly two hours long, and I don't feel like anyone gave a damn about trying to find my car and get it running until they saw me carrying around jumper cables and making a scene. When I got home, I checked the valet ticket on my keys and noticed that under "Color", someone had written "White". My car is blue. That probably explains why they couldn't find my keys or my car initially, as trying to locate it from faulty information won't work well. Ending note: This was not an isolated incident tonight. Looking through their keybox for my keys, many of the keys were simply thrown into the box with no tags attached. There were multiple other people who were waiting because the valet service was unable to find their car. Most of them still got out before I did. One co-worker of mine, who was waiting almost as long as I had been, was still walking around trying to find his car when I was leaving. Nearly two hours and they had not found his car. He had far more choice words to say on the matter than I did, I was just happy to finally be leaving. read more

This is absolutely the most garbage company I have ever dealt with. They should not be anywhere near a hospital. I have been dealing with them consistently for over a year since I have a family member that is frequently in the hospital. The valet drivers constantly make women in my family uncomfortable. I've been asked if I have a boyfriend and have been asked for my phone number. One of the valet drivers took over 20 minutes to get my sister's car only for us to find out he was smoking pot in it. Because of this I started using the garage which is just as bad. The credit card machine in the garage breaks like the McDonald's ice cream machine and if you don't have cash the people working in the garage will either not let you leave or will hassle you with eye rolls and deep sighs until they finally decide to let you go. Every single employee I have encountered has been extremely rude to downright mean. I don't understand why a company with such disdain for people would work at a hospital where people are going through very difficult times. The company must treat their employees like trash or something for them all to be so consistently horrible to me and my family. I would love to say I will never use them again, but unfortunately I have to continue to give them my money every time I have to visit my mother in the hospital. Oh and god freaking forbid you leave your scrap of paper in the hospital room because they will charge you $25 for parking in an unguarded lot for under an hour. read more

I hired them for a car service for a 2-day round-trip to Kansas City. It was exceptional. Extremely courteous professional gentleman drove me. Perfectly on time. Texted me 15-30 before arrival to assure me he'd be there. The minivan seat was very comfortable. I worked nonstop the entire way, and time flew by. Very smooth. The driver Mr. Chamberlain did everything to make sure I was comfortable and safe. Will absolutely hire in future. Very appreciative for the reliable and professional service. read more

My first time using this trash of a company wallet was taken from my wife car ,I asked the valet guy but of course he denied any wrong doing . We used Clayton Valet for our event at the 9th St. Abbey. The Abbey has virtually no parking and we had at least 50 cars. The valets were all fantastic, friendly, and fast. They had a team of several people shuttling cars for us and everyone in my group was impressed with their service. I want to leave a review of Clayton Valet's employees, more importantly Kirk, the valet who probably saved my life. I was stranded by the car service that was to pick me up from my Doctor's office. I was in the lobby of the building after my appointment and the oxygen tank on the back of my wheelchair was empty due to my long wait. Kirk was the valet at the Doctor's building and really had nothing to do with me, but as he realized something was wrong he rushed to my Doctor's office to find out what should be done as I was unresponsive and he got the response from the Doctor and they rushed me to the hospital for oxygen. I was passed by, by a lot of people who didn't realize something was wrong but Kirk helped me by getting the help I needed. This was after hours for him, but his assistance was greatly appreciated, probably more than he could realize. I passed him by on a second visit to my Doctor and he recognized me and asked how I was doing. Considering Clayton Valet had nothing to do with my visit's, but hires employees such as him I can only rate them a full 5 stars and hope that in the future I need their services and will most assuredly use Clayton Valet and recommend them to all of my friends and associates.
