I visited on a Wednesday night with a large group of ladies to celebrate a friend's birthday for trivia night. Despite our large group, the server was excellent, providing friendly and efficient service throughout the entire evening. This is a pizza place, and I have Celiac Disease, so I did not eat this visit. However, my friends enjoyed hot appetizers and cheesy pizza slices. I was extremely impressed by the cocktail menu. I decided on a traditional margarita with a salt rim. It was great, good price too. They have many margarita flavors and add-ons to choose from. In terms of rims, you can pick from nothing, salt, sugar or tahin rim. There was plenty of free parking on the street near the restaurant. Bathrooms are a little outdated but clean and working just fine. The reason we came here for trivia was that the trivia really moves along since it's a weeknight. It was extremely well-attending with many teams (great friendly competition). The questions and rounds moved quickly and efficiently, starting easy and becoming very challenging. My son found this pizza place because his daughter had milk allergies. They served a non-dairy pizza. My little granddaughter can now "drink cow's milk". I am a pizza snob when I am in St. Louis. If provel cheese is not on the pizza, I am totally out. While everyone else ordered pizza with cow's milk, my son and I split an order of trashed wings. The trashed wings were served buffalo style with a jalapeno drizzle. They were double-fried and awesome. Good old St. Louis and its awesome food was the first thought that came to mind when I took a bite of the wing. I had a taste of the pizza, it was ok, but not earth-shattering as the trashed wings.(provel was an option, however, it must be the only cheese offered!). I am from the Lou, and this is what I expect. The service was good. We had two different servers checking on the table. Drinks were refilled, and the check came without being asked. If this building were in Florida, it would be on the National Register of Historic Places. We were in town and the OKC Thunder were in the National NBA Finals and we just couldn't miss this game! We were on the hunt for a place with good food that would allow us a casual night out on the town to eat, hangout and enjoy the game. The team here at Felix's was awesome. We called ahead of time and they told us they'd be happy to pass the game if we came that evening. We loved everything from the food, to the team-based approach to service, the coziness of the dining room, and how kind they were when we told them we were hoping to catch the game. Their "The Deluxe" pizza is great. Though not my most favorite STL pizza, it tasted hot, fresh and delicious. There was a mishap with an olive situation on my pizza and they were quick to make it right. For an uncharge you can get a side of their house made sauces--worth the upcharge if you enjoy ranch with your 'zza. My favorite thing we ate was "The Greek" salad. Y'all. That house made Greek dressing is out of this world fantastic. If you enjoy a good Greek salad, don't miss this one. The Buffalo and Thai Chili wings were delicious. I loved their variety of local draft beers. The TV situation is second to none. If you want to catch the game, they've got you covered inside and out. What an awesome place for a group hang and some delicious food. I came here with a large group of people with varying tastes and preferences, so we were having a hard time finding the right place. A friend suggested Felix's, and I'm really glad they did! The appetizers are delicious and the pizza is creative and tasty. I especially enjoyed the roasted raviolis, wings, and waffle fries as appetizers. The beer options are also great, offering plenty of craft options. Our server was friendly and served us quickly, getting us everything we needed and answering any questions we had. Parking is easy out front, and we were able to get a large table for our group without a long wait. Ahhh Felix's I love you. It truly always hits and is perfect no matter what the occasion is. In this particular visit, we met for book club. It was perfect with the big room seating in the bottom room. We ordered apps and drinks first, and I got a draft Mich ultra. I'm not a beer drinker often but it fit the vibe. Loved the roasted ravs (never had them before) and the loaded fries are always delicious. I'm a creature of habit so I got the cheeseburger pizza and it's always amazing. Ok SO you gotta know that I'm a sauce girl but I'm telling you the dog town slice was the best pizza slice I've had in YEARS I mean years. The homemade ranch is the best I've ever had for dipping. They do offer patio, inside and bar dining. It's a great spot for taking in a game while you eat. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. I love two steps over into Richmond heights but fancy myself a dogtownian when I can get away with it. Felix's is on our steady rotation with Stone turtle and Tamm avenue but let me just say, Felix's is THE SPOT for a multitude of gatherings. It's my go to spot to watch sports and I find myself continuously lucky on grabbing a bar spot since they don't take reservations, which I dislike. However; the pizza slice and a brewky is an epic combo deal and their signature pizza options are literally insane. I like the dogtown for sure but I come here all the time and have tried basically every pizza option. It's a sports bar vibe and it's fitting that their wings, specifically trashed wings or Asian sweet wings are insanely good. We used to go a lot more when I worked closer and now mostly go when we're down by the zoo. The food is always decent, we mostly order pizza and the wings. Pizza is mostly a NY style slice offering with several different options. The trashed wings are always a hit as well. Beer is always cold and the spot is huge so plenty of seating. Thankfully, someone thought of Felix's and we were able to get right in ... one table big enough for us that must've just opened up. WOO! Our server, Dylan, was great. A local haunt if there were ever one. In the heart of dog town, felix's is the quintessential sports bar of dog town. Inside, everybody feels like your neighbor. You can just feel the other diners are local. A special feeling not many places replicate. The workers are always great, and they churn out nothing but consistency when it comes to the grub. First of all, Felix's is currently atop my St. Louis wings list. They are elite. Their jalapeno ranch is top notch. You are not finding that crisp on those wings anywhere else in the area. On top of that, the pies are insane. You pay by the slice. But, do not fret: a slice is so big it hangs off the plate! They have your basic pies, but I recommend nabbing one of their specialities, many of which have names or ingredients that pay homage to the area. I offered to take my youngest daughter to eat an early dinner after her work ended and we decided to try Felix's Pizza place. My last relationship was with a vegan so I hadn't been here in some time but I'm familiar with their operations. In fact I came to Felix's before they moved into their current location. When we got there I ordered a draft Kona Big Wave draft and my daughter got a mixed Kona draft. I am typically an AB customer based on my roots of South St Louis, but since they've sold to a larger company I will try other products to get a larger base of options. Big Wave has a "fruity" taste and is not a heavy beer, not a terrible aftertaste. You might ask to try it if it's offered as a draft at your local bar. We ordered a small wing app and a slice of pizza for each of us. I really enjoyed their wings they are fried twice for crispiness (I like) and coated with either a hot or hotter sauce. Tori got some ranch dressing to tone down the heat of the hot sauce but I thought it was a decent amount of heat but not too hot. The Big Wave helped me there. lol. My pizza was the turtle special minus the jalepenos and Tori got a straight cheese pizza. Both slices were great. I know a lot of StL folks swear by our imos but I've tried to find other places so that if I take a date to dinner or we stay at my apartment we have an option for a hand tossed pizza that is not a big chain. The cheese pizza had regular pizza sauce but the turtle had a bbq type of sauce. Very tangy. We had a great time and with 3 drafts, an app and the 2 orders of pizza slices (a single slice order looks to be 1/4 of a pizza) it was (with tip) $60. Unfortunately that is getting to be around the price I expect to pay, $30 per person for a casual dinner. I do recommend Felix's for their pizza and wings. To me beer is beer so that's not the reason to go there. read more

We're first timers here. The host and server were very nice. I give it a 3 because the atmosphere in the main dining room is kind of airy, probably more kids than I prefer and not very ambient. I wasn't a fan of the chicken, bacon garlic cheese bread. The chicken was thick and dry. The bf got a meatball sub which he said was just ok. The meatballs looked pretty dry. The loaded waffle fries were good but the plain ones were better to me. I got the Thai chilli and buffalo wings since they offered a half and half option. The Thai chili wings were a 4/5 and the buffalo wings get a 5/5. They were really delicious. Nice crisp to them and the sauce was barely spicy, so if you like mild buffalo wings. This is for you. It's not a place id probably care to go back to for dine in but Id like to try a pizza to go and definitely get a double order of buffalo wings. read more

I didn't get a chance to read how you can get your dog on the wall, but it's a fun touch. They specialize in pizza, but also have some sandwiches, salads, apps, and handhelds on their menu. I had the Murphy pie and a beer. The crust was perfectly crisp, I could eat the whole pizza myself. They have lots of local beers on tap and a cocktail menu. My only critique is that their water cups are small and the server wasn't able to come by often enough to keep up with refills. However, it was Christmas Eve Eve, so I'll give them some grace.
