I washed a blanket on 1/2/25 but the washer broke halfway through the cycle leaving my blanket sopping wet and soapy. I contacted the laundromat, but I've still not had a response. Lavadora down the road is a great laundromat. Right next to a doughnut shop too read more

This place has gone waaay downhill since this new owner took over. Constantly have machines and dryers down. The owner is not only not very responsive but rude and condescending when he does respond. A few weeks ago they were closed until 1pm for supposed maintenance and repairs. Came in today and there are at least 5 wash machines out of order and several dryers with no doors- AGAIN!!! Not to mention it was dark inside the establishment. Only 3 of the ceiling lights were working!! We will be going back to our previous business on Treat and Clayton Rd from here on out. I stayed this long because I love the "pay range" option that allows you to earn credits for money spent. Also makes it so you don't have to load quarters- just download the app and start the machine. Willing to give that up to have a more reliable and experience and the owner at the other place is SYOER customer friendly and always available to help with any issues. Will NOT be returning to this DUMP!!! read more

Sooo... I write reviews as a DoorDasher and Frank Lee because I use laundromats a lot. This one may actually BE THE BEST within Concord/ Walnut Creek. A couple of things... notice how old most of the bad YELP reviews are for this place and Frank Lee again how few there are relatively speaking. I knew the previous owner/ manager. And he once told me that he made it his goal to be the cheapest/ best value out there. It was. Very reasonably priced but a little sketchy as far as maintenance. That manager retired this past year (2022) and sold this to a young couple. The husband did a lot of renovations to both the machines and the overall look. Clean new tables. New floor and paint job. Many new washers. But above all....DRYERS THAT DRY!!!! I hate sticking in coins in a dryer and then coming back and the clothes are not dry... Not so at this place. 5 quarters dried all my white clothes, towels, & Costco athletic socks. WOW... 25 minutes and dry clothes! This place has great parking. Is near a grocery store, and restaurants/ fast food places... There is also someone cleaning and maintaining. Washers are typically $4.50 for 25 minutes with 2 rinse cycles. And dryers 25 cents per 5 minutes. A TV that does work but is not on sports.... too bad... Places to sit, coin machines that work...and an ATM. It's great. Three things it could improve on... 1. If the TV is going to blather on the same commercials, then it should be able to have sports like soccer or the Super Bowl. 2. This place needs Spanish instructions and signage. It is a courtesy to a significant segment of the clientele. 3. A clock would be nice. read more

I am so angry, this place deserve to get shut down, I go in and wash my clothes for them to come out and smell like piss, I ask the manager/owner who was there, he looked at me and walked away, but he can hear you say hey you dropped money on the ground though. He legit refused to give me back my money after his machines ruined my clothes. Trust I was not the only person walking out with dirtier clothes than going in this disgusting place. I was not able to use my Apts washer/drier facility. I came to this place and was very satisfied with how clean it was, the low prices, a variety of machine sizes, how fast the washers wash and the driers dry. I was pretty impressed too with calling the Managers number for a question since it was my first time! Thank you so much Clayton Wash and Dry for making my day off easier and efficient! I think I would rather come here and take an hour vs my apt facility and taking almost 2 hrs and multiple machines... read more

My house washing machine broke and I needed a nearby coin laundromat. Came on a Friday morning. Place was clean, orderly, and machines were in good working order. TV was on to help pass the time. Plenty of laundry-basket carts available to move wet clothes to dryer, etc. People inside were quiet and polite. Free WiFi a bonus! Will definitely return again if need be. read more

Management for this place has let it go to hell. I do laundry about every four weeks and the last time I used their facility it had no hot water and the faucet was broken. Well guess what? Nothing has changed, and when you leave a note about lost money or anything like that you never hear from them. Stay away from this place. read more

I continue to come back to this place because it's super close to my house. It is cheaper than the surrounding laundromats, but you kinda get what you pay for. I'm usually here just before closing, and I do see the management sweeping the place and collecting quarters from the machines before close. However that's the extent of the cleaning. The machines themselves seem very poorly cared for; once broken they tend to stay broken for months at a time. The soap drawers are always caked with months-worth of various soaps. These facilities have ruined lots of clothing, leaving bright-colored spots of various colors: blue, yellow, red, green. (None of these are colors I wear). The bathroom is comparable to a public bathroom, but it does have a code to get in; and at least there is a bathroom. The free WiFi is convenient also. The worst thing about this place, is the other customers though. They lack any brains whatsoever. There is a common habit of 'reserving' tables and baskets by leaving their empty laundry hampers, etc while their clothes are walking and drying. This makes it so that there are not enough to go around. If people didn't do this, the facilities would be more than ample. This is also a favorite spot for homeless people to come and watch the football game on the tv. The management staff doesn't really come around enough to prevent this. All that being said, I'm not so fancy that I can't live without a few spots on my clothes, and it's really close to home. Until something better opens up, I'll continue washing my clothes here. read more
