Whereas you might expect a luxury boutique to carry mostly tiny sizes, I was pleasantly surprised at their range of sizes, styles and prices. Not everything was super expensive, though there were very expensive pieces. Every corner is impeccably curated and filled with beautiful, thoughtful items. Laura of Pembroke is newly on my list of places to visit when I need a gift or want to buy something for myself (you know, for when you get in that mood of just wanting to buy something for yourself). The majority was racks and racks of clothes, different styles and sizes all together. While I know a lot of people like to find a deal at and enjoy the hunt, that's not me when it comes to digging and digging through racks of differing styles. I didn't really pay much attention to the prices, as I didn't see anything that interested me, but I imagine they're decent like their sister stores across the country.

I have to be honest. I tend not to shop at many women's boutiques because I never feel the clothes are inclusive. I'm not a 5 foot tall size 0 looking for a $200 crop top, which is almost always what the inventory feels like. I nearly passed out when I came across sweaters and tunics that were sized to fit real people and ended up purchasing a flattering geometric knit sweater with a cute hood that I can't wait to wear (if it ever becomes fall). I love that the clothes here are real. They have a lovely selection of jewelry, homewares, cards, small gifts and other stationary that were unique and simply darling. It was too tempting to buy 1000 things for myself. I will absolutely return here the next time I need a gift for someone! But don't get me wrong, I did purchase an amethyst chunk bracelet I have zero regrets about. :) As I was checking out, I met the owner, who was lovely. I also really appreciated that while I was shopping, no one followed me around asking me if I liked XYZ. I came to Cleveland without a jacket and for some reason Google told me that the store closed at 7pm, so at 6:45pm (45 minutes after the store closed), I banged on the glass, and I was greeted with a smile and welcomed inside. The boutique is incredible! I wish we had one like it in Baltimore because I would be there all of the time. They have adorable clothes-- from leggings to dresses to jackets and sweaters. And the price point on a lot of the clothes make them affordable which is awesome. In some stores, you pick up a jacket and pay $400+, but here, you can get adorable jackets for 1/4 of that! But if you take a walk through the hallways of Eton, you'll be so pleased to stumble into Mulholland & Sachs. Everything in the store is made in America, which wins immediately in my book. They have a beautiful selection of homewares, bridal gifts and accessories/jewelry. While they carry items by artists and other small makers, they also have well known brands like Kate Spade. They also have gorgeous stationary and student/office accessories. It's also a monogram dream...for everything from monogram cheeseboards and other entertainment pieces. You can also do a wedding registry in the store! But what really impressed me was there customization selection. They can do lovely monogram accessories of all types on items like jewelry boxes, serving trays and more. In the back of the store, they also have a section to do custom pillows with Greek lettering. The store is beautifully laid out and has a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The gals working were very friendly and offered me coffee, tea or water. Thread carries several Ohio clothing designers as well as more high-end national designers. While I didn't focus heavily on the clothing, I was able to find the cutest set of travel cosmetic cases that were different sizes and all folded into each other. Each one had a noun like "wanderlust" or "nomad" with a dictionary-style definition. It was reasonably priced and they gift wrapped it beautifully! While checking out, they also offered to sign me up for their free rewards program. If you fancy yourself a boutique shopper or enjoy their clothing/jewelry selection its definitely worth signing up for. Overall, I think Thread is a nice addition to the shopping in Pinecrest!

The store contains mix of brands starting from local designers ending with higher end designers. The two sales girls were highly friendly and helpful and also not disturbing while I explored the items. Besides, they had sale/ clearance rack. I chose three items to try and ended up buying one- classy turtleneck. I will def come back to check their spring-summer inventory.
