I was told by…read morethe person in charge that it was a great deal for me since they would be closed Saturday and Monday for Labor Day and I would be only charged for a 1 one day rental if I had it back before the gates closed at 4:30 pm on Tuesday 9/2/25. I returned the equipment at 2:08 pm on Tuesday and upon checkout I was told the equipment was due back at 8:30 am on Tuesday, and I was charged nearly a full extra day, $306.16. If I had been told it was due back at 8:30 am I would have had it back on time. UPDATE: After posting the one star review, I noticed I had a 10 am voicemail from the person in charge that I spoke to at Lindsey inquiring about the return of the equipment. However, I still know what I was told. I should have known to get it in writing, it would have taken five seconds for me to have him write the deadline with the date and time of return and initial it. The people that worked there and assisted with loading and unloading were very helpful and friendly and other than the issue with the return time, the person in charge was also friendly.

I definitely recommend Hey Neighbor for handyman work that needs to be done. They are hard working,…read morehave a great, positive attitude, and are flexible. Dan and Justin from Hey Neighbor came out repair a gate, address an erosion/drainage issue, and dig a hole for some plumbing work that needed to be done. They did an excellent job in all aspects and cleaned up after. What I appreciated most was that they gave options and suggestions to start and throughout the work depending on what came up. Due to a downspout at the front of the house emptying next to the corner, water ran down the slope along the side of the house eroding the ground and creating a small ditch next to it. On their assessment visit, Justin and Nick suggested using the ditch to bury a drainage line from the downspout to emptying in the back yard. They tied in the downspout at the back of the house as well, which would empty onto the back porch creating a mudslide on the porch. It now ends in the back yard out of the way with a pop-up drain. Dan gave me a few suggestions on replacing or repairing a gate that had the hinges pull out due to the post they were attached to rotting, discussing our overall future plans for the fence along with pros and cons of each suggestion. Dan also dug out a 4' deep hole in the front next to the house for some plumbing work to be done, and after the plumbing was completed he came back to fill it in. The area looks better than before the hole was there! We'll definitely be using Hey Neighbor in the future. Very honest and hard working guys! Huge thanks to Nick, Justin, and Dan for their time from start to finish.
