I hired Rose's Cleaning to clean the carpet in the one room in the house that has carpeting. It's a…read moresmall room and they were able to fit us in last minute. Great! I spoke to Jim on the phone to book the service, and he was really friendly and helpful. He said his wife Rose would be in touch with a quote after I texted some pictures of the room. I don't know who I was texting with in the end. They quoted me $100. The two workers arrived right on time, were very polite, and did a beautiful job! However, they spoke no English and used a phone app to communicate. (You speak into the phone, they read the Portuguese that's generated, then they speak into the phone and it spits out English. Who knows how accurate it is.) I lived in a foreign country for 6 years and while I wasn't fluent, I had basic proficiency in the language... admittedly I worked in an industry where people spoke English, but for day-to-day things I was glad I could read and handle basic conversations. (This was pre-smart phone.) I'd love to hire Rose's Cleaning for their organizing service, but can't imagine how you'd do that with someone you couldn't talk to. They get good reviews for that, so maybe I'll try it. I'm skeptical but interested. If all you need is cleaning it probably doesn't matter that you can't communicate without a phone translator. Their work was beautiful and they were punctual and polite. All of that is great. I'm glad they could fit us in!

This company is a scam. They pull a bait and switch by saying they charge $45/hr then turn around…read moreand then quote you for 15 hours of work for a brand new house. Please beware before doing business with this shady company. Let me added in response to the owners response. The home has already been cleaned by the previous owners so again not much to do. We are hiring a cleaning company just to sanitize the place, 15 hours is a crazy amount of time for one home. It's not the White House we are asking about. I'm glad she recognizes that I will be looking for an honest company as she is not an honest business owner.

I made an appointment with the above company on February 19 for a February 28 cleaning. I received…read morea text message at 9pm the night before stating that all appointments have been canceled due to weather. As someone who is a supervisor and leads a team on daily basis, I completely agree on ensuring everyone is safe, especially when weather can be dangerous. In the text message the guidance given is to reach out to the company and reschedule. The very next day on March 1 I reach out to the company to reschedule. I receive a text message back two hours later stating that there is an opening on Thursday, 2 March at 12:30pm. I agree to the appointment. The day of, at 12:30pm I text at 1231 and mention that I am home, please advise when you arriving. No arrives, calls, or even sends a text. The company is a no show. I call at 1246 and no one picks up. I receive a response at 2:07pm I'm guessing from the owner since the person never identified themselves mentioning that they have COVID and have been hospitalized since Tuesday night and that there secretary was supposed to reach out to me an led cancel. I text back to summarize my experience and mention that maybe the secretary needs more training and it would have been nice to have received a phone call so I could schedule with someone else. I receive another text message that I felt was unprofessional and telling me that we are all "human" and that "this is not in my hands" and that "I have a second job, I work in a hospital, maybe I get infected there" as there are continuous apologies. Here are my concerns: 1.) When originally canceling the appointment due to weather, sickness, etc it should NEVER fall on the client to be the one to reschedule. Proper customer service entails the company reaching out to the client and making the effort to reschedule. This shows that the clients business is indeed important. 2.) The need to communicate through text message should be limited. Pick up a phone and actually talk to your client. This can help alleviate any misconstrued information and it shows your clients that they matter. I wish I could have experienced what the other reviewers experienced, however, the ball was dropped big time. I'm also in the process of moving out of my condo in two days, and this experience really didn't help.

The deep clean team went the extra mile for my family and I can't wait to have them back Bi-weekly. My house has never felt so clean! Give them a try you will be very happy with the results.

AVOID MaidPro of Providence!…read more We scheduled them to come two weeks in advance and they DID NOT SHOW UP. We just purchased a new home and were relying on them to clean the kitchen so we could eat in it. We gave them the code and were also in our home within the arrival window, but no one arrived. Since we scheduled a Saturday appointment, no one was available to take our call. We ended up spending $50 on cleaning supplies and doing part of the cleaning ourselves. It was one of the most exhausting Saturdays of my life. I called on Monday, and they were able to send someone over to clean the rest of our house within 20 minutes. I did appreciate the promptness. The individual who cleaned did a reasonable job, but I never really received an explanation as to why no one showed up, and I expected more for $50/hour! The best they were able to do was a $25 refund - I spent $280 and that's all you can do? I cannot believe that I trusted them with my credit card information. Find another cleaning service if you can.

We had hired MaidPro to clean out my boyfriend's studio after he'd moved. First, the consultation to get set up with MaidPro takes FOREVER over the phone. The first time a representative called, they asked if I had 10-15 minutes for them to do an estimate. I mean, I'm glad for the heads up that they expected this to take 10-15 minutes but I didn't expect this to be the kind of thing where I'd have to pull out a date book or actually block off time in my day to talk to MaidPro. I was on my way to work so I said that I didn't have time right then. The estimate is THOROUGH. Every cleaning desire, some which I didn't know I had, was explored in the lengthy estimate. I specified that I wanted a move out deep clean with shower, convection oven and fridge cleaned out. After calling again and getting my 11 minute consultation done, I got two more calls from MaidPro that afternoon. The first is whether I still wanted a cleaning because I said that I couldn't do the life inventory, sorry, estimate asked for the first time I called. I explained that I didn't have time for the estimate the first time and still wanted a cleaning. The third call was a call asking questions asked from the first call. Altogether, I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with different representatives from MaidPro. They showed up within their estimated window and even a little early. Both workers were very nice with a great attitude. The apartment was nearly moved out of with all furniture removed. There was one box left, a leftover rug and some scattered household objects. They said it would take no time to clean this place up. They were done within 2 hours but had missed so much. None of the water stains or grease stains on the front of the dishwasher or microwave were wiped off. They did a good job with the fridge itself but didn't touch the freezer shelves at all, which I had to clean. Although there was no furniture and the floors were nearly bare, the corners hadn't been dusted. We still ended up dusting. I had asked about the oven and while they wiped it out on the inside, there were many grease stains and they told me to use a Brillo pad to get it out. They should have specified that they don't actually clean an oven but just do a cursory wipe. I think this should have been specified more clearly, as I thought this was a clean that should have sufficed for my just needing to walk through for an inspection, remove the stuff and hand back the key. I will say that everyone I spoke to was exceedingly pleasant. They bundled up and organized all loose stuff including the rug so that it was easy to sort out for keeping or tossing. The shower was very nicely cleaned. It just wasn't the move out deep cleaning with shower, oven and fridge included that I was promised and paid good money for. They're really nice people but I'd go elsewhere for a move out deep clean.
