I have been a member of this Clean Freak Car wash since they opened here in Chandler. This was before all the Self-Serve DRIVE THRU CAR washes started popping up all over the community. It is older, not as shiny or flashy however at the end of the day one asks IS YOUR CAR CLEAN. Just recently they were acquired by the Circle K Corp and I thought is this going be a profound improvement or the end of the road of them. However HONESTLY, I MUST SAY THEY IT IS A POSITIVE. MORE LOCATIONS FROM Tucson, Phoenix, Flagstaff to many others so any time I am out and about picking up road grime there is a clean freak nearby which IS A BIG PLUS AND BONUS I have discovered esp. during the change of season, monsoons, snow, dust storms etc. Recently I was having some challenges with my credit card being accepted at CFCW and that is because like everyone else we are seeing an explosion of credit card fraud. So to fix it I went it to see my CFCW manager who IS RAY AND HE WAS GREAT!! EXCEEDED BY EXPECTATION. FRIENDLY, OPEN, ENGAGING, & VERY CUSTOMER MINDED which again did not match with what I was expectation. RAY asked a ton of questions to find all my records, went through all my credit card charges, noted that I was being charged various fees for both of my cars (One for me & the other for my daughter) and over 3-4 days we got it all figuredd out. KEEP IN MIND HE IS ALSO WORKING MULTIPLE SHIFTS as one of the CFCW staff too, doing inspections, maintenance and literally working his tail off too while investigating my issue. He is not in some cushy office watching his TEAMWORK. He is part of the TEAM and a very close and important COG of that team. This location provides a good drive through car wash, you dry and vacuum yourself. They provide towels to dry outside of your vehicle and wipe for the dash. I go with the monthly package that allows unlimited wash's for $20, with the first month at 1/2 off. I wash my truck once a week, so five bucks per wash is a fair price. The staff does a good job maintaining the wash and vacuums for a quality experience. Recommended for a decent car at a fair price! read more

Ran the car through their wash, purchasing the Premium wash which includes the bells and whistles of wax and cleaners. Car was fairly dirty but came out sparkling. The one issue we sometimes encounter here is the lack of dry towels so I typically bring some just in case. Today there were plenty to be had! Vacuums worked perfectly and took about 45 minutes but left with a clean car! Will continue to use this place when we need a quick clean! read more

I have had mixed experiences when coming here in the past. It's disappointing they don't seem to ever have the wet wipes for the inside of your car. I should've just hand washed my car. When I pulled in the worker went to my passenger door window and knocked on it which honestly scared me. He asked me if I was paying cash or card and when I told him card, he told me to go into the other lane. Which you have to back up into the entrance to move lanes. I could've easily gotten into a car accident because of that. The car wash legit took 5 seconds, the dryers don't work. Never again. read more

This carwash is horrible and doesn't resolve damage carwash causes to customer's vehicles. The brushes forced opened my wife's charging port door open and ripped it off along with wiring. Manager's reply was for her (customer) to just snap it all back in. You kidding me. On an electric vehicle. Corporate has been no help as they don't return calls. Google and see how previous incidents with clean freak, customers have reached out to get news media involved or lawsuit to get resolved. Guess thats what we will be doing next. I have had a membership for the Chandler Blvd carwash in Chandler AZ for 3 seasons as I am here 6 months of the year my son and daughter in law have 4 memberships year-round. Today when I went over to wash my car the reader didn't work, and the operator asked for my phone number after the hand scanner failed. This method of ID failed as well. I had to locate my credit card I use for monthly auto pay to get my car wash. There were cars lined up all the way into the road ahead of me, same issue. When I spoke to him about 2 recent trips over while I was out of town and my grandson was out of town. Family members drove the cars over to get a wash on these paid for accounts and were denied and so my family members had to pay for both cars to be washed even though they both had scan sheets on the windshield and were paid up to date. When I spoke to the attendant, he was flippant and said he wasn't the one that had made these over charges and couldn't refund them. He said, "Talk to the manager, but there's never a manager at this site." I asked for a manager's phone number, and he said he could not give the manager's phone number to google and find contact information. There is no clean freak customer service site or phone number to be found. There's a portal but it does not give an option that you can type in. (only, change payment, cancel the account etc.) So that did not work. There were none of the usual moist towelettes for the inside and no terry towels available for outside wipe down. In the 100-degree weather the water spots were forming from the cars air drying as there was nothing to wipe down the cars with. There were several cars waiting at the vacuum area and the 2 attendants just ignored they needed to be replaced. The younger slender young man admitting customers by hand was the one that finally went and got some terry towels. There is a heavy-set attendant with dark hair and dark eyes, and he is supposed to watch you drive in and guide you, so you are in the car wash correctly. This year every time I have gone there, he is never manning his post and today was no exception. He can be seen playing on his phone and ignoring customers. This is not new. The failure of the scanner is about a week-old issue. He finally came back and guided me in. I have to idea why he would leave when there were back-to-back cars that had just gone in and another in back of me. Everyone was just sitting in their cars waiting. Since there is unfortunately no one I can reach either via phone call or email to remedy this issue, I have to take to yelp. I used to love Clean Freak when I lived in AZ, and have never had an issue with the actual car wash itself. However, the website and cancelation process are horrendous. I canceled my membership back in OCTOBER of 2024 and have still been receiving recurring monthly charges ever since. I file a claim each time and get my $20 back, but who wants to do that for the rest of their lives?! Clean Freak, PLEASE implement some kind of help/customer service line so that issues like this can be resolved. If something like this exists, I would be so grateful if I could be referred to it, because my attempts to reach anyone who can fix this issue have been unsuccessful. This location continues to live up to the bar that is set.... very low. One day the location was closed early without any indication why. The vacuum stations are just dingy and dirty. A little detailing of the site and equipment will go a long way. I wish the vacuums actually sucked litterally instead of figuratively. I'm pretty sure the FLOWBEE (look it up) could do a better job. Get these fixed. If you stretch air gun hoses to its extended length, the air will stop blowing. Good luck using the air gun on the rear of your vehicle. One thing I was surprised by is the air hose with tire attachment available for inflating your car tires. If it worked, that I don't know. But it's there. On top of everything the company raised their monthly pass price twice within 6 months. This all makes me want to cancel my service. Drove to the location on Alma School and Chandler at 5:26 today, there were cones up in front of both lanes and not an employee in sight. I checked your hours online and it says open until 7:30. If they closed at 5:30 I would understand shutting down a few minutes early, but 2 hours?! Kind of a bummer and not the best business model if you ask me. read more

First time here in several years. Used to come when it first opened. Came here because I cancelled my Superwash subscription because I am moving out of the neighborhood. Severely disappointed in the wash. Granted my car was filthy from a visit in the Rio Verde area, but zi didn't like the wash. I got the $5 express wash and it just didnt cut it. Also no towels to dry car. The vacuums work good but barely extended to my trunk. Maybe visit would of been different if I would of gotten the higher grade wash...but not confident. My car wasnt all the way washed. My car felt greasy. Luckily I had a towel left over in my car and extra swag from Superwash. Should of just paid for Cleanfreak or Superwash. BEWARE! They will still charge you for the cars you have canceled even with a confirmation of the cancellation through email. I've tried contacting them in person for several months now for the same matter because there's no other way to get someone on the phone and all I got every time is a "manager" will call you "tomorrow." Well for the first time in months, I got a call back to tell me she can't do anything but refund this months membership and that I have to reach out to circle K to get the rest of the refund. She also tried to bribe me with a free car wash instead of just refunding what they overcharged me for! This business is a scam! I was a loyal customer for these years but unfortunately they don't care about customer service so I will be taking my business somewhere else. Pros: convenient location; they were good up until the end of last year (mind you I've been with them for years Cons: terrible customer service; this location is always broken or closed making you have to drive to another location; the machines are old so doesn't wash that good; drying towels smell moldy UPDATE to OWNERS response: Please read the whole review before you respond. I had a membership that expired and needed reactivation. I have 2 vehicles that were on my old membership, which was a discounted rate versus having 2 separate memberships. I reactivated my membership by bringing in vehicle 1 for a wash and the following day brought in vehicle 2. They did not give me a single membership with 2 vehicles, but set me up for 2 separate memberships, which has been costing me extra. FOUR times, I stopped in and asked to have this corrected, however, the employees at the store were not able to fix this. I was told they would leave a message for their manager, who never bothered to contact me. Cancelled both and do not intend to repeat this mistake. Probably one of the worst car washes I have been to. I wish I didn't spend $15 on this wash! For some reason I was under the impression that this was a touch-less carwash but I was mistaken. Upon pulling up to the agent, I explained I had some concerns over swirl marks and scratches as I just bought a black car. He explained that they could retract the brushes so they didn't really touch the car. I don't know if they forgot to do this or what but the brushes were in full force against the car. I also paid for the hot wax but I didn't see any wax dispensed when I was in the wash. I probably got ripped off. Next, the dryer is the weakest dryer ever. When I came out of the wash my car still had a significant amount of water on it and I spent a ton of time blowing it all off and drying it. I couldn't get all the water off in time so some dried and left spots. Also, the air triggers are really far back so it's somewhat of a pain to use these to blow off the water on the back of the car. Also, the rinse function didn't get all off the soap off and I still had soap running down the side of the car and also in some of the crevices. I don't think I'll be back to this carwash. read more

So it's sad to say that I have to turn to leaving a social media post since it seems I won't be getting any help. I took my vehicle to clean freak and got a membership the team with out hesitation placed the sticker on my interior windshield. I asked how they would remove it and a team member said they would do it. They asked me to pull over and when they attempted to do with with a blade they peeling off my tint and are now saying it's my fault. That they are not responsible. This came from the manager Amanda and district manager Richard Geisler. He first said my windshield was after market, then after proving it was a OEM glass he then went on to say that the tint is not a part of the vehicle. I explained to him no matter if It is an original part or not they did it and I have photos and videos. They offered a monthly pass and said it would have to go on my windshield. I've been a monthly member for 2 years and this location needs some work .. staff seems nice enough, they wave you through .. the blower does not remove as much water as it should and you are stuck towel drying most of the back end of your vehicle .. both vacuums on either side of my vehicle did not have enough suction power to clean the carpets or trunk .. I will have to try another location before picking up my passengers tomorrow to vacuum .. most stalls were occupied so I didn't try other vacuums at this location .. fix this please!! read more

If you'd like a broken windshield for free then come get your car washed here. I went yesterday and I have video proof of my car windshield being broken after the car wash. I filed an incident report and received a phone call back today saying it was "pre-existing damage" and they won't replace it. I have video proof and know there was no chip or crack in it prior to the car wash. It was just replaced so I know it was in good condition. Terrible customer service. Bought a brand new 4Runner that I like to keep clean, but I find new scratches every time I go through this car wash. Very noticeable ones as well. Not to mention you need to go through atleast twice to properly clean your car, then you have to spend 15-20 minutes drying it with hand towels that you have to pay for. I enjoy the cheap monthly subscription but you're better off going somewhere else. You'll end up paying more in the long run if you choose to come here. read more

Don't fall for the hot wax wash, it's a complete waste of money! I even went through it twice because I thought the first time they had the wrong setting on. "Streak free" yeah right! My wife asked to be signed up for a basic subscription and they signed her up for the unlimited instead without her knowledge. As as soon as we were charged $30 we knew something wasn't right as we expected it to be around $16 like it was the last time she had a subscription there. She contacted them to cancel the subscription that day and advised them of the mistake they made when they signed her up at the location. About a month ago my fiancé had taken our '91 bronco to get it washed when he noticed after the side decal fell off during the wash. I ended up going the next day to see if I can talk to someone. I believe his name is Antonio?(I'm sorry if I got that wrong, dark hair, younger guy) and he had told me they don't clean the under carriage until the following Thursday. He took my name and phone number down and said he'll let me know if he finds it. To be honest, I wasn't hopeful. Well I was proved wrong. He called my fiancé a week or so later and told him he had found it. We are so happy since our bronco is a classic and would've cost us a lot to replace. I have the monthly membership and it meets my expectations. However, they recently stopped giving air fresheners which is a major bummer! They allow up to two washes per pay and unlimited free vacuuming. Sometimes the attendants get me a little too close for comfort to the car in front of me, but I've never had an issue or even come close to hitting anyone. The huge downfall is that people who don't pay the monthly membership or even the $3 for a quick outside wash get to use the vacuums and they are not quick about it! I've seen people sit there for 30+ min getting every inch of their vehicle with both doors wide open, completely oblivious to everyone else around them. Service is pretty right on. Guys are cool and open to making sure your car wash is also spot on. Price is 15$ for but one get next one free - ultimate carwash (that's a deal.) I'm not sure what all these 1 star reviews are about. Ive been coming to this location for years and have not had any problems. Most of the people reviewing are complaining that their 5 dollar car wash doesn't look like a full detail. After the wash, pull out a towel, spend a little time with your car and wipe down whatever the dryers didn't grab. Each time I come out of the wash with my Ralleye red paint job, it looks better than the day it rolled out of the Autonation parking lot. I am not a clean freak. Though, I am a clean enthusiast. If you're looking for a quick, thorough wash-down on your automobile, this location will take care of you. The machine does a great job and I haven't noticed any dings or scratches from the brushes. When I first came here, they offered me the monthly package. I really like the idea, but just couldn't bring myself to sign up for another reoccurring monthly payment. If you're an Uber or Lyft driver, I highly recommend that deal. It's probably tax deductible. I usually order the $5 wash. There is also a $3 option. The reason for 3 stars is not personal. I really like the way my car looks after I come here, and the free vacuum stations is a great addition.
