I recently had a HORRIFIC experience working for Clean Juice, specifically with the owner, ANNA YAU. She attempted to underpay me for two days of work based on her personal emotions, which is unprofessional and ILLEGAL. Compensation for labor is a legal right, regardless of an employer's feelings. To make matters worse, Anna asked me via text if I thought I "deserved" to be paid for the two days I worked. When I returned her uniform the next day, she attempted to give me $45 in cash which left me rightfully upset, especially by the lack of compassion or understanding in the way she was treating me. As if this is something I deserved? I left in tears without accepting the underpayment. Thankfully, my partner, who overheard the situation, went to the location and was able to reconcile and get the full pay I was owed. Regardless of personal frustrations or issues, it's an employer's responsibility to ensure employees are properly compensated. If you're not ready to deal with employees you should not be a business owner. This was a despicable experience, and I would not recommend working for this business. This place is a small deli-like place with very limited seating. Food and beverages (salads and fresh-squeezed juices) are very fresh and organic and the prices do reflect that. Menu items are also made to order (which was nice) so it took a bit longer for our order to arrive. We ordered two sandwiches and two juices for lunch and the bill was about $60. It was a nice treat but I doubt we'll be returning anytime soon because of the cost. read more

Found the perfect pick-me-up at the newly-opened Clean Juice in Lexington! The store has a clean, fresh feel in a compact space. The Juiceristas (their real title) were friendly and helpful as I perused the menu. I settled on the Immunity One juice - full of orange, pineapple, lemon, carrot, and turmeric. Waited at the bar as the juicerista made my fresh-squeezed juice behind the counter. The juice was a beautiful orange hue, flavorful (orange, pineapple, and lemon flavors came through with a little hint of carrot), and not overly-sweet. The juices are a little pricey to make it an everyday habit ($8.50), but for the organic quality, it's well-worth it! I'll definitely be back for the juices and smoothies, and may even try one of their acai bowls (which looked amazing). They have a cute little prayer request jar in the store, too! read more

I'm obsessed! I've been to the store a few times. The staff is so kind and I love supporting women owned businesses! this is my brain food as I call it! I also asked about their catering menu and we had salads with the most delicious dressing, acai bowls plus pressed juice at an AR Workshop event last night with the Columbia SC Mommy Blogger Tribe. 1st visit could have been better... Walked in and only one other customer inside. No greeting, "hello" or "welcome in" from the 2 girls that were standing behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. They offered zero help or guidance. I had to figure out which juices were what and where they were on my own as I fumbled to the back of the lobby. When I figured out it was self service from the cooler I grabbed a couple bottles: $20- for 2 bottles is BONKERS!! Organic pressed juices back home in Los Angeles don't come anywhere near that price! Girl behind the counter rang up my juices without a word spoken. And after I tapped my card she had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. Like, seriously? You did nothing to help me, I got the juice out of the cooler myself and as previously mentioned you didn't even bother to speak to me just your friend behind the counter. Love the protein shakes, smoothies, toasts, bowls, juices, etc. Four stars because they almost never put on oils, juices, little to no butters on to go order for various toasts they offer. And they are are pricey. Have also picked up items a bit over melted. These things are not always true for pick up, but becoming more frequent. Me and my friends still love this place. The restaurant is typically clean at the small tables up front and down the side bar. Hoping they get those to go orders right when you pay. They flip the monitor around to you and ask for specific tips. And this place isn't cheap, but it is truly fresh. Try it for yourself. read more

Not a great experience today at Clean Juice. Usually quite satisfied with product even though somewhat pricey. Have tried the new "Greenoa" bowls and really liked the first one called "The Green 14 bowl". Today tried the "Yummus bowl" and was so excited but was soon disappointed. The salad was basically spinach, quinoa, avocado, dates and walnuts with hummus on the side. Overall pretty healthy I guess but geez I can't eat that many dates and very tasteless salad for the price. Too much avocado as well. Juice was good and tasty per usual. Just expensive to eat healthy but was hoping salad would be better. Next time I'll try the "Popeye" bowl and review it. Place is always literally "clean" and staff very friendly read more

I did their juice cleanse (one three day and one two day)and all of the juices were tasty and did their job. The staff was super friendly. I've also had one of their smoothies (chocolate cherry) and it was amazing. HOWEVER, 4/4 times that I went during my cleanse, at no point did they have all the juices they advertised. The first time I was shorted two (which of course I was allowed to substitute another flavor, ok fine), the second time they were also short so I placed an order and came back the next day and they didn't have the whites (best ones IMO). So they called me Saturday at 8:30 am to come pick up the ones they were out of Friday. It took me until 11:30 to get there (I live 45 minutes away). So I've driven there three times already this week. There isn't a closer location, and when I get there they had already sold 1 of the 2 bottles they called and told me to come pick up. Like I mentioned, love the juices, but for $280 dollars I would expect better service. It was pretty inconvenient. read more

Very clean location while very small, the juicerista was very helpful by offered a recommendation since I stated it was my first time visiting this juice bar. I had the mango and cream protein smoothie with hemp protein powder. Delish!! I was super busy and needed some protein to make it through my afternoon and evening. For a juice bar they have have a good variety of other items on their menu such as smoothies, food and açaí bowls.
